Three years ago I got Stormi from breeder. She was so small and sweet and just the best addition to our little family. She is full or energy, but also loves cuddles and sleeping in your lap. She is great for short walks, the long ones tire her out. She would do great in a house with alot of energy and kids, she loves kids and people. She is a little jumpy when first meet her, but she calms down when she is over the initial shock of a new person to play with. She sleeps ALOT, she is crate trained and knows how to let you know she needs to use the bathroom. You don't have to be at home with her all the time, but more than 6-7 hours might be too much for her. A place with a yard would be amazing, but she does well in an apartment too.

LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT FOSTER/ADOPTER! Bailey holds a special place in our heart at Jelly's Place. She is our office dog, and is very devoted to the people she trusts. She is quirky, VERY smart and food motivated. We just adore her and know we will find just the right home for her. Bailey was an owner surrender who came to us with some psychological trauma. We suspect she was used for breeding and not treated very well. In her time with us she has gone from being frightened and unapproachable, to a dog who is starting to let her guard down and who wants affection (on her terms), treats, and silly playtime with her toys. Note: Bailey also has skin allergies (we tested her) and that involves some medicated baths and occasional anti itching meds. Bailey needs consistency, and loves her routine. She does great on a leash and would benefit from daily walks. She would be a good fit with a family who doesn't need an active dog. A family without kids would be best, she is a one or two person dog. Once you get past her initial gruff exterior, and Bailey knows you are her person she will melt your heart, and will love you with all of her heart. Jake is an absolute gem. He has the happiest- go-luckiest personality-he has never meet a stranger. He’s the official officer greeter bring smiles to faces daily. He love his toys & bones and absolutely loves other dogs. He would make a great playmate for another dog around his age. Jake has a back injury prior to coming to Jelly’s. Playtime should be monitored/ supervised as rough play could injure his back. No jumping off couches or beds and stairs are difficult for Jake. As would be carrying him up & downstairs daily, if not properly supported re injury could occur. You would never know he has a backing jury he zips down our ramp for a romp thru the play yard with his pal, Piper. He is confident, friendly, house trained, non-destructive, has no separation anxiety, and walks beautifully on a leash. He seems completely dog non-reactive, and even when other leashed dogs are grouchy, he is happy-go-lucky and unfazed in the best way. He would probably love to have a dog sibling to play with as he still has some puppy pep in his step, but could happily live as an only dog too! He is very sweet with kids, but can be a bit mouthy and scratchy when excited - not out of any malice, but out of play. This behavior is quickly redirectable, but he would probably be best with kids 10 and older who understand this behavior and can help him continue to learn to channel it differently. He absolutely loves to snuggle (especially under the covers!). And the snorfley noises and snoozie snores are the cutest. He has been friendly with everyone he meets, and is quick to bond and love his humans. When it comes to training, Vader is affection motivated—a little love and praise go a long way with this sweet boy. Patty is the sweetest and chillest dog. She is comfortable in our wild house of two kids, two cats, and another dog. She plays really well with our other dog (mostly tug), and is great on short and long neighborhood walks. She is an absolute dream with cats. They can sit next to me together on the couch with no drama. She loves having her belly scratched and loves hanging out on the couch with the whole crew when we watch movies.
