Meet Chapo the frenchie! This darling boy came to us from our local shelter after he was surrendered by his family, who couldn't keep him. Chapo is five years old and a mellow guy who likes to hang with his people. He's good with other dogs, but isn't super playful. Chapo would love an adult only home where he will get lots of love and attention. Once a stray, Bubba has settled beautifully in his foster home. He enjoys playing with his toys, chewing on his favorite bone, and going on leisurely walks. Treats are a big motivator for him, and he already knows “sit,” “come here,” and “go to your bed.” When it comes to other dogs, Bubba is curious and may pull toward them, but he typically loses interest once he walks past. In the shelter, he showed an independent streak, so while he could do well with a compatible, respectful canine friend, he may also be happiest as your one-and-only. Bubba does have chronic skin and ear conditions common for his breed, and he’ll need adopters prepared for ongoing care and associated veterinary costs.
