Pleasure to meet you. My name is Rocco and i am about 2 years old and something called a "low rider" from what the lovely people at CBR says. I am a french bulldog/ bully mix and around 50lbs (perfect size) if you ask me! I am crate trained, potty trained, walk well on leash but still learning some manners inside of the home ( I like to jump from excitement) I also love sleep, rolling in the grass in the backyard, and chasing balls! I am a sweet fella, just looking for my perfect match! Could that be you? If you think we are a perfect match, please fill out the adoption application at www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt I am currently being fostered in Mountain House, CA.

Story
Snoopy is part of Charlie Brown Litter. Holly mom is French Bull Dog /Boston Terrier mix. 2/16/24 DNA test results: Dad was a Cattle Dog 40% and 9% Border Collie. They should be medium size adults and smart. Holly was abandoned at a distant shelter and was very pregnant. Snoopy's DOB: 12/1/23. Once we rescued Holly and she arrived at her foster home within 2 hours she went into labor and gave birth to 5 puppies. 2 girls and 3 boys. Whew! Just in time. All the pups and mom did great at their foster home. Home raised healthy lovable and social. The 5 pups are now learning at their next foster home for puppy training. All are playful snuggly and lovable. We do not know what they are mixed with. They seem larger than Frenchie pups and have tails. We will start to review applications Jan 20th. Puppies will be 8 weeks old on Jan. 27th and will get their first vaccinations and deworm. Need home with attached backyard. More info. to come on each puppy's personality. As the pups grow they need more one on one training. If not adopted by 1/27/24 each puppy need foster homes to continue their training and socialization. 1/24/24 Update: The 3 boys are fairly similar all playful and slower than the girls. Linus and Snoopy are a little more timid but get more playful when riled up by Brody. All love attention and to be held. They all did very well getting their first shots and these puppies are extremely smart and well behaved for such young puppies. They are learning sit and not to bite and are all doing very very well. They will make wonderful family pets for someone. Their temperament is fantastic gentle playful and sweet. Almost there on house-training. They love to go out to backyard to play and potty biz. 2/9/24 Update 10 weeks old: Patty is definitely the smallest and smallest paws. Snoopy and Linus are about the same size 12 pounds and Patty is 10 lbs.. I think they will be medium sized dogs. Snoopy and Linus are slower and calmer. Patty is spunky and more independent and curious and a little more Frenchie personality . All are learning crate training with less accidents on pee pads and they go out to backyard for potty biz. 3/15/24 Need foster home for one on one puppy training and socials.April 16, 2024, 1:30 am

Story
French Bulldog Age: 2-3 yrs old Female, spayed 24 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Mary Lou was brought to the Stockton shelter by someone who said they “found her.” The “finder” thought that maybe she had been hit by a car, which is why she didn’t have any use of her back legs? However, there were no signs of trauma. Given her breed and that she was obviously used for breeding with no signs of ever having a C-section, it is likely that she injured her back giving natural puppy birth (French Bulldogs require C-section surgery to safely birth puppies, but there are a lot of unscrupulous backyard breeders just trying to make a buck and taking shortcuts - leaving the dogs to suffer. Many of the dogs we work with that have no use of their back legs recover to some degree with work. Mary Lou hasn’t made much progress in this area, so will likely be a paraplegic dog for the remainder of her life. She prefers to drag the hind legs behind her, rather than using a cart. And because she doesn’t have use of her back legs, pee and pooping has it’s challenges, as well. In addition to no use of her back legs, she does have some medical conditions that are common to the bulldog breed (allergies, ear infections, and the occasional urinary tract infections associated with her urinary challenges). * * * * STOP BREEDING BULLDOGS!!!! * * * * Mary Lou qualifies for our “permanent foster” program where we support her vet needs for the remainder of her life (as long as she is fostered/adopted locally). On the other hand, she is super, super sweet. She loves everyone: humans and canines (and maybe cats? Not sure). She needs a home with no stairs, and where someone is home most of the time. She would prefer a home with another friendly dog. For more information about Mary Lou, contact nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com

Story
Meet Mel, our delightful companion born on February 17, 2022, who now tips the scales at 37 lbs. Mel joined our home at 6 months old, coming from an acquaintance’s unexpected litter. Her sweet nature shines through in her interactions, making friends easily with dogs of all sizes. Her curiosity keeps her involved in your activities, whether gardening or decorating. She’s not just a passive observer; Mel loves to be part of the action! Mel thrives on daily walks or park visits, amusingly carrying her ball. She prefers one-on-one playdates over dog parks, as she’s a bit shy around larger groups. As the day winds down, Mel transforms into a cuddle buddy, seeking a cozy spot on the couch next to you. Her loving presence makes every moment special. Mel is looking for a forever home where her playful spirit and loving heart will be cherished. Will you be the lucky one to welcome Mel into your life? - Adoption fee is a donation to “Tiny Paws Rescue”

Story
Chunk is a 2 year old English Bulldog, who came to us as an owner surrender. Chunk absolutely adores humans, but he's definitely a man's best friend. He just finished a 4 week board & train with Wolf Mother K9 to work through his trauma. Chunk is a bit of special boy, he's very dog neutrally and friendly, he gets along great with them and could live with them. However, when he does live with another dog, it makes him lose trust in humans and causes him to bite when he's afraid, though he never does this in a home without other dogs. So, a home where he can be the only dog would be best or in a home with 1 other mellow dog. He loves to play, very food motivated and enjoys walks! He gets triggered by loud noises, quick movements and will bark when he wants cuddles. Chunk is a very healthy English Bulldog and doesn't even have most of their allergies or skin concerns that typically accompany the breed. Without dogs, he is absolutely perfect, cuddly, affectionate, and calm. He'll follow you around the house and try to be a lap dog whenever he can! Chunk is being fostered in Fairfield, CA. If you would like to meet Chunk, please fill out our adoption application on our website www.cabullyrescue.org/adopt.

Story
Hi! I am Cheesecake, well...simply because i look like one. LOL. I am dog friendly but have had a hard time trusting new people. I am working on this and my confidence and am doing my best! I was saved from Merced Shelter right around Thanksgiving. I am 57lbs and still trying to loose a little weight, but with all the walking i do, i am sure i will lose a few pounds shortly! I am good with other dogs but need some time to warm up to new people, they scare me a little bit. I am working on feeling safe in the crate too, but i have been doing a lot better! I am a sweet girl, who just needs to feel safe, loved and have boundaries. I am currently being fostered in Pleasanton, CA. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Hi, I'm Cardi but everyone calls me Moo! I am not sure why they call me that, but I'm guessing it's because of my spots and love for grazing the grass. I was saved from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto CA when i was at risk for being euthanized because of space. The lovely people of CBR saw my potential and here I am, thriving in my foster home! I am dog friendly, love to roll on my back in the grass, sunbathe and make weird noises! HAHA. I am crate trained, potty trained and walk well on leash! I will make any home a happy one! Would you give me a chance to be your new best friend? I am currently being fostered in Richmond, CA. If you would like to meet me, please fill out our adoption application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt
