Story
Honey Bear is a good dog, she enjoys walks and time in the house or the yard listening to the birds. She will do best in a single dog household without cats. Honey has spent time around children, men and women and appreciates calm kind energy. She was adopted from a shelter about 6 years ago, she is currently about 8 years old and was seen by a vet for an exam, lab work and vaccine update 10Jun2025. She has a clean bill of health based on her vet exam and lab work so she was able to start on carprofen to keep her agile during walks and enjoying her life. It is a difficult decision to place Honey Bear up for adoption, but in her best interest to be in a home where she may enjoy walks and attention with the right family / couple / single owner. Honey is approximately 79 pounds, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands (sit, stay, come, load up (car)), and knows her comfy spot is her dog bed. She does enjoy toy time, treats, belly rubs and watching tv with her human.

Story
Red is a gorgeous 6-month-old male White Swiss Shepherd dog (Swiss Berger) puppy that weighs around 35 pounds of love and sweetness. He’s stunningly handsome, playful, loving, affectionate, loves everyone he meets, and has been great with the children he’s met at our adoption events. He’s also dog friendly with other friendly dogs, is crate trained, and is well-behaved in the home. Red would do great with an active family that will play fetch with him in the yard and that will exercise him regularly. He can be the only dog or best with a younger, bigger dog since he still plays rough. We encourage our puppy adopters to provide them with stability, structure, consistency, love, and puppy training to set them up for success. Red will be an amazing addition to any shepherd mix-loving family looking to add a gorgeous puppy to their family. Spot has received his puppy wellness exam, 3 rounds of puppy boosters, is microchipped, dewormed, and he’s packed and ready for exciting adventures with his forever family!!! If you're interested in adopting Spot, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Spot's cuteness. Our adoption fee for dogs, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.April 7, 2025, 12:32 am

Meet Xena, a German Shepherd mix with a warrior spirit and the gentlest heart. Xena's journey to us was a challenging one; she was found abandoned in a cage with her sister at a homeless encampment, left for days without food or water. A compassionate good Samaritan rescued them, bringing them to safety at the Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter. While her sister found a loving home, Xena endured over 30 days at the shelter and faced the prospect of euthanasia. Despite her difficult past, Xena's spirit remains unbroken. She is an incredibly sweet and playful pup who absolutely thrives on companionship. Xena is good with children, showcasing a gentle and patient demeanor. She also gets along well with other dogs, always eager to make new friends and join in on playtime. Her resilience, affectionate nature, and joyful enthusiasm for life make her an extraordinary companion. Xena is ready to leave her past behind and fill a new home with boundless love and laughter. Story
Meet Daisy Jean! She was found as a stray and the vet thinks she was born around June 2024. She is currently 55 pounds and expected to be 60 pounds when she's fully grown. She's very curious and friendly when she sees other dogs and is enjoying walks and playing with the resident dog. She has not been cat tested just yet; her foster is working on that. She is doing great learning fast to walk on a leash and also learning to be house trained. That's where you come in! Daisy would love a patient home to help her to become the best dog she can through commitment and a solid routine. Since she is so young, we would recommend a home with kids over 12 who understand the energy of a puppy. If you would love to add Daisy to your family, please fill out an adoption application today!March 26, 2025, 8:55 pm

Meet Holly, a young pup with a heart full of curiosity and sweetness. She's gentle as a breeze, yet playful as a squirrel in spring. She loves exploring her surroundings, sniffing out new scents and sounds. She's a smart girl and learns fast. She is even learning to ring a bell when she needs to go outside! She is a typical playful young dog who loves to chase balls and play with toys. She is crate and house trained. Holly would be such a great family dog who needs exercise and a solid routine. She does well with kids, because she is young, she is still learning not to be mouthy so will need continued direction with this. Adopting Holly means having a a companion that will give as much love as she gets in return.June 12, 2025, 6:03 pm

Momo is a spirited, intelligent, and affectionate German Shepherd mix with a petite frame and a big personality. At 3 years old, she’s the perfect age—past the puppy stage but still full of playful energy and curiosity. She’s already mastered her basic commands and loves nothing more than being part of your daily life—whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a hike, or a treat puzzle at home. Momo is eager to please, quick to bond, and thrives with people who provide both love and structure. What She Loves:• Playtime, running, and chasing toys• Mental challenges like treat puzzles• Human connection, attention, and routine• Being part of an active lifestyleGreat Match For:• Adults or families with respectful kids• Active individuals who understand working breeds• Homes that can offer structure, stimulation, and consistent routineOther Pets:• Can coexist with other dogs with proper introductions and guidance• No cats or small dogs (under 20 lbs) due to her moderate prey driveMomo does have some separation anxiety, so she’ll do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods initially, and where her person can help her feel secure and settled.Whether you're looking to foster or adopt, Momo is ready to bring joy, energy, and loyalty into your life. All supplies and support are provided for fosters—she just needs someone to give her the chance she deserves.June 22, 2025, 9:11 pm

Story
I was recently abandoned in my apartment after my owner moved out. I am safe now, but I need a new home. I am about 50 pounds currently and need to gain 10-15 more to be my healthiest self. I am house trained, spayed. I am still figuring out toys and I am getting good at relaxing, going on walks and being with my people. I don't have formal training yet, but I am eager to learn. Sometimes I get a little clingy (I am still healing from being left behind) but I am doing great with lots of direction. I am super friendly with people and get along with other dogs once I have had a chance to properly meet them. Would you foster or adopt me?May 20, 2025, 8:53 pm

Story
Gorgeous, house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, loves to be active, knows her basic commands, and ready to go home with you; that’s our Daisy Ann! Daisy’s foster mom recently had this to say: “Daisy Ann is a beautiful dog. She is protective and loyal. She loves her adult humans and wants to be with them often. She likes to walk and play with toys and her humans!” Daisy Ann is a super-duper happy girl - just look at that face! She’s big, beautiful, and bright! She is about 4 years old, about 68 pounds, food motivated, and good with calm dogs. She is shy and needs confidence around both people and dogs - that's where you come in! If you are a strong and active pack leader who will keep up the good work and show her that she is safe, Daisy Ann is looking for you! She isn't looking for kitties, however, and would do best with respectful kids that are at least 10 years old. Please fill out an application to meet this gorgeous girl today!May 21, 2025, 9:42 pm
