Story
Meet Kevin! Kevin is 7mos old (a/o 06.06.23 - born 10.25.22). He is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Kevin is a very unique mix of breeds - be sure to check out his attached DNA results! He is the pup with the most personality of the litter!! And he has the most amazing feature - a MOHAWK! Who knows if it will stay, but for now, it just adds to his uniqueness!! Kevin is a happy boy and LOVES to snuggle with his humans! He has experience with young children, cats and other dogs and seems comfortable with all! Kevin knows how to use a doggie door, is working hard on his potty training and is already crate trained! Kevin is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. We have collaborated on rehoming several dogs with her and the dogs are stable grounded animals. If you have questions about Kevin, you will be referred to our foster. An application and home inspection will be required for adoption. Interested in providing Kevin the life he deserves? Contact us via text or call at 833-473-7364, or send an email to adopt@sacrdr.org - include your phone number - or message us on social media.

Story
Meet Vincent!! Vincent is 7 months old (a/o 06.06.23 - born 10.25.22), neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He’s a very sweet, sensitive boy - and also the biggest cuddle bug!! Vincent is a very unique mix of breeds - be sure to check out her attached DNA test! Vincent is a special boy who needs a special home. He enjoys hanging out and playing with other dogs, and we feel that his best canine match would be with an easy-going dog with a calmer personality. We think he'd also do well as a solo pooch in his new home. Vincent enjoys the company of cats and does great with them. He seems comfortable in the presence of children and has expressed interest in meeting them. Vincent is great on the leash and easily and comfortably meets strangers. The biggest thing with Vincent is that he is "special." He must go to a home with a patient and understanding family as he could have neurological issues in the future. All of his potential "special needs" issues are neurological NOT behavioral. Vincent is crate trained and is working hard on his potty training. Vincent is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. We have collaborated on rehoming several dogs with her and the dogs are stable grounded animals. If you have questions about Vincent, you will be referred to our foster. An application and home inspection will be required for adoption. Please give Vincent a chance - he is the BEST boy! Do you have more questions about Vincent or are interested in providing him the life he deserves? Story
Carlisle is in desperate need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Miracle dog and Stanislaus Survivor Carlisle is ready to be adopted. Carlisle sat in the shelter for over 2 weeks with no one willing to help him because his injury was pretty severe and expensive to fix. He fractured his L7 vertebrae. We think he is about 2 years old. We found the most skilled Neurosurgeon at VCA Referral Center and found a medical donor willing to take a chance on the surgery. There was no guarantee it would work, but Carlisle had such a will to live, we knew had to try. The Surgeon did not give up either and he decided to make it happen. So we pulled the boy and off he went to VCA for a $12,000 plus surgery. Carlisle has made a full and complete recovery! It is a true miracle. He has been in two foster homes and his current foster home can only keep him until the end of May. He should be an only dog for now. He is still intact, but his neuter will be done while in foster care, if adopted ( foster to adopt) or as soon as we can get him in for the surgery. Carlisle is great with kids and people. He is good on leash. He is not the best with other animals, seems to have a prey drive, so no small dogs or cats or farm animals. Female dogs his size or larger should be fine, but we will demand slow intros. He is so deserving of a home and we need a foster or an adopter for him ASAP! Interested in meeting Carlisle? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to adopt@sacrdr.org (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Petfinder system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Our adoption application will need to be completed and submitted. It can be found here: https://bit.ly/sacrdr-adoptionapp You can follow Carlisle on FB, Insta and TikTok using #sacrdrcarlisle

Story
Sailor is a gentle giant looking for his new home. He is quite the couch potato and loves to relax. He can be a little possessive of his toys, so we are requiring that any children in his new home be teenage or older. He doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs, so he is also required to be the only dog in his new home. Adoption Fee: $5050th Anniversary Promo

Story
Luna is a big beautiful girl looking for her new home. She is very sweet and loves to play fetch. She can be selective with other dogs, so a slow introduction with any resident dogs is very important. A dog introduction is required prior to adoption. She would also not like to visit dog parks. From: friends in Roseville Ca Age: 2 Dexter is a goofy, fun loving 2 year old German Shepherd/Pit mix who needs a large yard and room to run! He needs leash training and is not fixed.
