Story
Carlisle is in desperate need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Miracle dog and Stanislaus Survivor Carlisle is ready to be adopted. Carlisle sat in the shelter for over 2 weeks with no one willing to help him because his injury was pretty severe and expensive to fix. He fractured his L7 vertebrae. We think he is about 2 years old. We found the most skilled Neurosurgeon at VCA Referral Center and found a medical donor willing to take a chance on the surgery. There was no guarantee it would work, but Carlisle had such a will to live, we knew had to try. The Surgeon did not give up either and he decided to make it happen. So we pulled the boy and off he went to VCA for a $12,000 plus surgery. Carlisle has made a full and complete recovery! It is a true miracle. He has been in two foster homes and his current foster home can only keep him until the end of May. He should be an only dog for now. He is still intact, but his neuter will be done while in foster care, if adopted ( foster to adopt) or as soon as we can get him in for the surgery. Carlisle is great with kids and people. He is good on leash. He is not the best with other animals, seems to have a prey drive, so no small dogs or cats or farm animals. Female dogs his size or larger should be fine, but we will demand slow intros. He is so deserving of a home and we need a foster or an adopter for him ASAP! Interested in meeting Carlisle? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to sacrdroperations@gmail.com (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Petfinder system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Our adoption application will need to be completed and submitted. It can be found here: https://bit.ly/sacrdr-adoptionapp You can follow Carlisle on FB, Insta and TikTok using #sacrdrcarlisle

Story
Meet Pearl, a senior canine resident of our shelter. Her heart is as young as a puppy's, full of energy and enthusiasm. She's the epitome of bravery, facing every day with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Pearl's friendly nature is infectious, her loyalty is unwavering, and she has an uncanny ability to bring joy to those around her. Despite her age, her energy is boundless, and she loves nothing more than to play and make her human friends laugh. She's not just a dog, she's a friend, a confidante, a companion. Adopting Pearl means gaining a loyal friend, a brave protector, and a loving playmate. She's ready to fill your life with joy, loyalty, and friendship. Don't miss the chance to give Pearl the loving home she deserves. Pearl is still learning how to share her food and treats so we are requiring that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her boundaries. Pearl likes other dogs but is still learning her manners, so we will be providing a dog introduction to potential adopters with another dog at home. Her previous owner let us know that she barks at cats so we are requiring that there be no cats in her new home.Adoption fee: WaivedMonthly Promotion Applies
