MEET BUDDY!   Thiis handsome and charming 3-year-old male German Shepherd is looking for his forever home. Buddy is sweet, smart, and playful once he is comfortable in his surroundings. He may have some reactivity towards new people and situations, but with patience and understanding, he quickly warms up and becomes a loving companion. One of Buddy's endearing quirks is his love for singing along with sirens. He also loves to bring his humans gifts such as table plants, remote controls, and oven mitts. Buddy is crate trained and housebroken, making him an easy addition to any home. Buddy enjoys being active and exploring his surroundings. He loves to go for walks and runs, and he would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors. He is also very intelligent and loves to learn new tricks and commands, making him a great candidate for continued training and socialization. While Buddy gets along well with people, he needs to be the only dog in the household due to his potential reactivity towards other dogs. Story
Meet Star, a 3-year-old female with a heart as big as her 79 lbs. She found her way to the shelter on 11/10/23 as a lost girl with no one coming forward to reclaim her. Despite a tough start, Star is a sweet girl who deserves a second chance. Unfortunately, she arrived after being hit by a car and urgently needs to be seen by a vet outside the shelter for proper care. Star is not just a survivor; she is a loving soul who knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and down. Currently residing in Run #409 with the ID 650648, Star will undergo spaying, microchipping, and a heartworm test before adoption. She is up to date on vaccines, and with the right care and attention, Star is sure to blossom into the wonderful companion she was meant to be. Story
This handsome shepherd mix is Spike! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 10/30, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Spike is quiet and well-mannered in his kennel. Spike walks nicely on a leash and he does his business right away outside which means he may be housetrained. Someone took the time to teach him a few commands because he knows how to sit and shake paws nicely when asked! Spike is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 67 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Spike in run 877; his ID # is 650403. Story
Hops, a 9-month-old 45 lb shepherd mix, is a loveable guy who adores everyone: children, men and women, and dogs big or small, even though he can be a little shy at first meetings. Did I mention he's a lover? According to Hops, bedtime snuggles and morning belly rubs are the perfect way to start and end the day.  Hops is fully potty and crate-trained, but he will get chatty if left in his crate for very long; however, he's not destructive and doesn't bark excessively; he only wants to be near his people. His ideal home is one where someone is home or can check on him throughout the day.  Hops had a minor fracture on one of his legs (probably why his name is  Hops), but he quickly bounced back and is a healthy, active guy. Hops loves road trips with all the new sights and sounds. He also enjoys his short leash walks under the guise of searching for sticks to take home. And while he loves his walks, his favorite outdoor activity is to run free in a fenced yard - his foster mom says you'll need one.  Hops is so excited to find his "fur-ever" home. If you love a well-behaved boy who loves hanging out, cuddling, and giving you some love, Hops is your guy! Story
Swanky Lola found herself out on her own at a young age. Thankfully, a kind person took her in and looked all over to see if she had a family. When none was found, this kind person helped her become an Angel pup and even cared for her until we found her forever home!   Swanky Lola is a 56-pound, 1.5 year old, German Shepherd mix. She is crate and potty trained too. Swanky Lola loves going on walks, riding in the car and is very treat motivated. She is also very affectionate and loves giving kisses.    She has been working on her basic manners with a professional trainer. She's done very well and enjoys having a job. She would like to be the only pup in a home. She adores people, including older children. Her playful exuberance is a bit much for young children. She still has lots of puppy energy, so an active family would be best.    Add some shepherd love to your family with Swanky Lola!
