Hello this is my dog chapo I got him from some people who were selling a liter he is 3yrs old he’s a amazing dog love love loves to play good with cats and dogs loves attention, unfortunately I don’t have time for him and he deserves to have a caring loving family who can give him all the attention he deserves, I’m hoping he can go to a home where he will be well taken care of, definitely with other animals he does kinda have separation anxiety so I would think he needs another fur friend, a family who can be with him a lot and play with him. He does have a little bit of a skin condition not exactly sure what he’s allergic to but his skin tends to turn red and gets itchy but I take him to the vet where I work at and he gets a few injections and he’s fine, same with his ears they get itchy but with some ear drops every few months he’s good

This handsome man is Stark. He is 6.5 years old & has been with me for 5 years. He came from living with a trainer/training to be a working dog. The Good: -prong collar trained -Very loyal -extremely intelligent -extremely affectionate with the people he knows, including an infant in the home. -crate trained and will crate himself -has had professional board and train training -knows all basic commands -potty trained -muzzle trained -food aggression training -up to date on vaccines -good with living with cats / dogs if introduced properly The Bad: -Reactive to dogs who get anywhere near our property -If he gets loose he will go after other animals -Bite history. Will bite once and run off if he feels owners need protection. -Loyal to a fault - he feels like everything is a threat to owners We are so sad to have to go this route but he would be better off with someone who he doesn’t feel he needs to protect so aggressively. When people take me out, this is always the first thing we do, we walk or rather we run to one of the fenced-in play yards. I then am focused on the ball – throw it and I bring it back every time. I even at times catch it mid-air. When we are done, I’m happy to go for a walk, carrying one of the tennis balls or other toy. Got a good throwing arm, then what are you waiting for?

We were finally able to say good-bye to our life, or rather our inexistent life thanks to Save-A-Pet humane investigators. Born outside and left, we got zero love or attention. No play time or walking around the neighborhood, just nothing as if we were already dead. My brother and I were very scared and shut down when we first came here but little by little, we are realizing there is a life for us. I will need someone with some extra love and patience to continue making me feel comfortable in new situations and while this can still be scary, it is also exciting.

Old life, if we can even call it a life, was living at a business, left outside, no love, no play, no walking, no nothing. Thanks to Save-A-Pet humane investigators, they rescued my sister and me. Needless to say that I was very scared when I first got here and thanks to the devotion from the staff, I’m slowly getting more comfortable. I have to say that my curiosity is often stronger than my fears so this is helping. I’ve heard so many things about living in a home and being loved and spoiled, I can’t wait to experience it all with someone special.
