Zoey has been a great addition, but we didnt think it through very well. We have a 3 month old and Zoey needs a lot of attention but we work full time and dont have time to take her anywhere. We are very sad to let her go, but she needs a loving home that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Zemmi is a beautiful 7yr old mix. She's a huge lover. Tolerant of baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, taking medication, hugs/contact from small children, cats, fireworks. Big cuddle buddy, she loves to sleep on the bed with you. Zemmi loves the beach, hiking trails, and the dog park. She hates being in large bodies of water though. Adventures are fun but loafing on the couch is her most favorite place to be. She has been trained well but she does sensitivities... she is highly stressed with wood/tile/linoleum floors - carpet and rugs are best, has anxiety in cars, and does not care for yelling or crying - will go to her bed. Commands she knows: sit, down, stand, lay, paw, mat, out, easy, let's go, come, stay, back, home. She does have a thyroid disease where she's required to take daily meds. Her diet is Merrick Limited Ingredient Real Lamb & Sweet Potato. 1/2cup 2x a day. Her favorite treats are cheese, blueberries, banana, and broccoli. She loves to be chased and tug of war but has never played catch. Belly rubs are her favorite thing. She's not a big kisser but will sniff your hair and ears while nuzzling into your neck. Story
Johnny is a big puppy - like big, and still thinks he's a little puppy; which means he's a bit of a handful at times. But, he absolutely loves to be around people and desperately wants to play with other dogs - his size and enthusiasm just make it important that he play with the right dog. That said, his 74 lb 6 foot frame didn't inhibit him from having a great time playing with an 11 lb Chiweenie and the two of them had a fantastic time.Johnny will turn anything into a toy, including ropes, buckets, rawhide bones - you name it.If you are a dog lover, and patient person willing to give him lots of positive praise, support and pets, I promise - Johnny will love you forever, and with every ounce of his very, very big heart. He even gives hugs.Visit this link to apply: form.jotform.us/60136667457159   ##1493838##

Story
Momo was purchased as a puppy from a German Shepard breeder in Bandon, OR in Sept 2021. We have added 2 more kids and much more responsibility to our family since then and have come to realize we cant now give Momo the attention she needs. Momo has no known health issues. She is gentle and patient and gets along with our 3 small kids and ferret. She walks everyday and is good on a leash and mostly walks at heel. She also doesn't run away and I have often taken her on leash-less walks. She has never had proper/formal dog training. She will usually respond to commands to come, sit, and lay-down, but would benefit from better training than I can give. She is somewhat small animal aggressive, barking and charging at squirrels and cats but has never actually hurt anything. As it is she is definitely under-stimulated and needs more play time with and exposure to other dogs and people than we can give her.

Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
