Story
Shadow is an EXTREMELY intelligent, beautiful, absolute goofball of a dog! He loves to cuddle, and according to him, sleeping in bed with you at night is a non-negotiable (Lol). Shadow needs lots of stimulation, attention, and exercise - and will voice his opinion if he feels like hes not getting enough of it! With a very big bark and almost unlimited potential, Shadow has the capability of becoming an amazing guard dog, working dog, or adventure partner for the right person. Shadow is still in need of socialization with other dogs, as he does have anxiety and feels the need to protect his owner; but this can be overcome with professional training. Shadow LOVES to play fetch, tug, and de-squeak all of his squeaker toys. He knows basic commands such as stay, come, sit, jump, lay down, and get your toy, and knows many other human words (hungry, potty, outside, trip, walk, treat, etc.). Ideally, Shadow would fit into a home with a very active owner, who has the time to take him along for adventures. While Shadow can have anxiety in dog parks or around other dogs in general, he is wonderful for hiking or other isolated outdoor activities. Shadow would thrive in a home with one other dog, female, and no young children. Shadow would not do well in a home where he is left alone often due to work schedules, school, or other obligations. He is a needy baby in the absolute best of ways! ? Please visit our website heartsandtailsofhope.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Rex is two years old born August 7 2023. He was the runt of the litter and we have had him since he was 5 weeks old. He had obedience training. He is very protective and is defensive towards people. He has never shown aggression to other dogs. He is food motivated and very trainable. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He has become too much for us to handle and we would like to see him go to a good home. He can be very lovable and goofy. He just needs a little more care than we can provide. He is creat trained and he is potty trained and will tell you when he needs to go.

Story
♥&#239&#184&#143 Meet Theo ! I’m a 3-year-old, 75-lb German Shepherd mix with a light brown coat, black highlights, and a dark face mask. Neutered, fully vetted, and heartworm-free, I’m healthy and ready for my forever home.   I was rescued from the median of Hwy 82 with a broken rear leg, which Dr. Bill repaired. After months of crate rest, I’m now fully healed and love running and playing.   I’m goofy, sweet, house and crate-trained. I get along well with other dogs, enjoy going on walks, and love spending time with my people. I enjoy fetch (though I don’t always bring the ball back), and I’m a great watchdog. I’m shy at first but warm up quickly. I do best with adults or older kids and haven’t met cats yet.   If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application!   TexasACR.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a non-profit 501c3 Animal Rescue located in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Our passion is centered around assisting animals that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused. We are a foster-based rescue consisting of 100% volunteers.
