Story
Mochi is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing approximately 80 pounds of loyalty, affection, and thoughtful charm. He’s a wonderful balance of active adventure buddy and relaxed couch companion, happy to join you for a walk, hike, or outing and just as content settling in at home afterward.   Mochi has a sweet, steady temperament and truly loves people. He bonds deeply with his humans and thrives on connection, attention, and shared routines. He does well with kids and enjoys being part of a household where he can feel included and valued.   He has completed professional board-and-train, where he learned important household manners and structure. One of his biggest accomplishments has been learning to feel calm and secure in a crate, which he now views as a safe and comfortable space. This foundation helps him transition smoothly into home life and makes him an easier companion to live with.   Mochi is fully house-trained and well-mannered in the home. He is eager to please, enjoys having a job or task to focus on, and responds well to clear expectations and consistency. His intelligence and desire to work with his person make him both rewarding and fun to train and live with.   His story began when he was found living on an uncleared lot in Old East Dallas. Thanks to the care and commitment of his foster family, Mochi has made a full transformation from a street dog into a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys the comforts of home life.   One of Mochi’s endearing quirks is his love for string cheese, which earned him the nickname “Mocheezy.”   Important to know: Mochi would do best in a single-pet home. He prefers space from other dogs when out and about, and can be strong on leash if he notices them. Mochi is happiest when he can focus on his person and form a close, one-on-one bond.   If you’re looking for a devoted companion who is affectionate, intelligent, and ready to be a true partner in life, Mochi is eager to find his forever home. Age: 2 years Weight: 82 lbs Good with dogs: Prefers to be the only dog Good with cats: No Good with kids: Yes Activity level: Active Vocal level: Low Training: Professionally Trained January 31, 2026, 11:09 pm

Story
Bonnie may be the perfect dog to step into your waiting household. At nearly two years old, she has learned all her basic skills from sleeping in her crate to taking care of business. Listening and knowing when to â&#194&#128&#194&#156leave itâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 and how to shake are part of her best qualities. Part of a full household, Bonnie might enjoy the attention of a small household but has spent time with other pups in her litter. Once she spends time with her new family, Bonnie's energy level will settle into her new playtime routine. To get started, chewing on a bone will always be a favorite pastime. She still needs a few final checks with her vet before moving to her forever home. Bonnie will definitely enjoy getting quality cuddle time and having a warm bed, a loving family, and a happy home of her own. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Hi, I'm Pear! I am a sweet dog looking for my forever home. Could that be with you? My foster dad tells me I am a handsome and distinguished gentleman - have you seen my beautiful grey whiskers? I might be a little older than a puppy, but that doesn't stop me! I love to go for long walks with my human. Sometimes we will even walk for 2 miles. Also, I might get a little excited around other animals when I am on my leash, but we are working on that! I generally like to stay close to my person. I love exploring our yard, and I really love to follow you around while we are outside. Can I tell you what my favorite thing to do is? I LOVE to roll around in the grass! It feels fantastic! My foster dad calls me a total ham while I roll around because I get so silly - its so much fun! When I am not enjoying a good walk or a roll in the grass, I also like a little down time. I am a sucker for a good nap. My foster dad says I am VERY motivated by food - I LOVE chicken (who doesn't?), but I really don't like those green things called vegetables. I also do really well with a routine when it comes to meals, potty breaks, and bedtime. I caught onto my foster family's work schedule very quickly, and I don't have separation anxiety when they leave. But, I am very happy to greet them when they come home! My ideal home would include a yard (I need to roll around everyday!), and also a home where I am the only pet. Please submit an application if I sound like the right fit for you. I would love to meet you! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Kronk is an energetic and affectionate boy who can be shy at first but warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. He enjoys attention and seeks out pets with gentle nudges, often wagging his tail happily. Kronk is treat motivated and takes treats gently, and he may know sit. He can be head shy during leashing and shows strong interest in other dogs, sometimes pulling on leash or becoming reactive. In playgroup and near other dogs, he displayed high arousal and would benefit from continued guidance and positive outlets for his energy.
