Story
This spunky gal will do best in a home with another dog.  She is crate trained and is good in a crate when she can see her humans but needs other alternatives when a human leaves the house.  She will need plenty of exercise since she is still a puppy at her age.  She would do great a doggy daycare and will need a family that will continue to build her confidence.  And she loves frozen stuffed kongs! We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to meeting a dog and potential adoption. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $400, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $350 and 8+ years is $125.. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our sweet 4-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family because we love her very much, but we have come to realize that she deserves a home where she can be more of a central part of everyday life. She is a genuinely sweet, affectionate, social dog who adores people and lights up when visitors arrive. She is wonderful with children and gets along easily with other dogs. With a medium energy level, she enjoys daily walks, hikes, and adventures, but is just as content relaxing at home by your side.We believe she would thrive with someone who has the time and joy to include her in daily life—walks, adventures, errands, and quiet time at home. Our priority is the right match, not a quick placement. We want a thoughtful fit where she will be deeply loved and included.

Story
0726033 - Meet Shadow — a super sweet boy with a gentle, sensitive side! Shadow loves people, although big crowds or noisy environments can make him a little nervous at first. Give him a little time to settle in, and his sweet personality starts to shine. One of his absolute favorite things is playing fetch, and he’d happily chase a ball with you and bring it back for you to toss again, but he isn't super high energy so 5 or 6 rounds and he is ready to rest for a bit! Shadow has been good with all the other dogs he has met - male, female, big and small.  He is still learning to play but he has discovered chase is pretty fun, and he loves to play in the pool!  He has also done well around kids. Because he can be nervous, we think a home with kids around 8+ would probably be the best fit, although he has met younger children and has been perfectly fine with them. As for cats, Shadow doesn’t seem particularly interested in them. His experience has only been in passing, though, so we can’t say for sure how he would do living with one. Overall, Shadow is a loving, gentle boy who just needs a family willing to give him a little reassurance and help build his confidence. In return, you’ll get one very sweet companion—and a pretty enthusiastic fetch partner! To adopt Shadow, complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2815915##
