Story
History: Jaxby is an adorable kiddo who went unclaimed from a local impound. He is very puppy yet and still working on learning manners and basic obedience. He hopes to find his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: We have come to adore this little dude! He is a year old (approx), and he has settled down from his puppy hood. When he gets overly stimulated, the puppy does come out! Grabbing sleeves when he gets too excited gets to be too fun for him, so we need to let him settle down. He does well with this. He has been great on the potty training. He walks to the door when he needs to do his business. He does love to sit outside on a long rope. Too bad it has been so cold to let him stay out too long. He doesn't bark if a person or dog walks by, just sits and wags his tail! What a good boy! He loves to chew on bones or Kongs. He also loves to play catch, but tennis balls will be de-fuzzed! We kennel him at night and when we are going out. All day kenneling may be difficult for him since he is active. Jaxby loves hugs and pets. He will be your cuddle buddy! He is incredibly loving! Plus, he has the softest fur ever!!! He has an appt for neutering on Feb 19th at Coco's Heart. His shots are up to date. He loves to play with the grandkids, but does need to be reminded to not get too excited! Our grandchildren are 6 and 3. He loves other dogs, not sure on cats. He will need some work on learning to walk on a leash. We haven't been able to work much on that due to the below zero weather. Jaxby will be a loving addition to any family.

Story
Tootsie is a beautiful middle aged gal. She was found as a stray in a neighboring community. She is estimated to be between 5-7 years old and if she could talk she`d say she is in the prime of her life! Her breed(s) are unknown but she appears to have some bird dogs in her lineage. She`s a perfect 51 lbs. and has a wash & wear coat!Tootsie is pretty firm in her beliefs. She absolutely loves chasing the ball and running with her foster dad. She absolutely wishes cats did not exist. Tootsie absolutely believes humans are better than any other reward on the planet. Tootsie, also, absolutely does not want to share her home with any other canines.Tootsie can be made to appear as if she a handful, a problem, questionable. When she first came to us we were concerned about all of these things. But we know one thing. Tootsie craves praise and adoration from her people, and she has proven that day after day. She wants this. It is an incredible thing to witness a dog shed the old persona and try a new one on, especially a reactive dog. She`s not always going to get it right, so she needs people that will continue to have her back and not try to make her something she is not. Tootsie needs to be the only pet in the home. She has made huge improvements and is now comfortable walking past and casually being around other dogs in passing. Beyond that she is an easy keeper. Want to go for a long hike? She`s your gal! Feeling like a couch day? She`s got the snacks. Tootsie is going to love her new humans with every fiber of her being. Who doesn`t want that kind of adoration?Tootsie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She has also tested negative for heartworm disease. Her adoption fee is $300.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application to find out more about our Tootsie!

Story
Joey is a 10 year old Goldendoodle who still has plenty of pep in his step! Don’t let his age fool you—he loves his walks, playing with his toys, and being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s a sweet boy who enjoys people and loves being near his person. Joey would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention and continue to get the exercise and love he deserves. He’s gentle, affectionate, and still full of life—just waiting for someone to share it with. He is not a fan of alot of stairs and hard wood floors are slippery. Joey does have a strong prey drive so probably would not do well with cats Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
Hello! My name is Dillyn Mae and I’m a very pretty girl who just arrived from Alabama!! I was very happy to join 2 of my siblings already at my foster home. I’ve been around a lot of dogs my first year of life so I think I would do best if I can have another dog to love. My human mom thinks I’ve never been in a house before but she says I’m doing great! I’ve learned to go up the stairs and I even sleep in the big bed with my human family! I need more time on the leash, I’m still nervous walking on leash but can you blame me? It’s all new in my world! Please give me a chance….I have so much love to give!!Dillyn Mae was heartworm positive and has completed her treatment. She received a preliminary negative result on a microfilaria test but is awaiting a negative test result to a Heartworm test 9 months after treatment per our vets recommendations. She is no longer needing to be on exercise restrictions. Dillyn Mae will need continued use of monthly heartworm prevention. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi! I’m Dixie and I am just as cute as can be! I’ve just arrived from Alabama. I was very happy to see my brother in the same foster home! My foster mom thinks that I’ve never been in a home before but I’m adjusting pretty quickly. It only took 2 days to master the stairs. I was so excited cuz now I get to sleep in the big bed with my human mom and dad! I’ve only had one accident the very first night of being in my new home, I was just kinda nervous. My foster mom says I’m getting so much better getting leashed up and walking everyday. My doggy brother is bigger than me and he lets me jump on him all the time. He is so gentle and good to me! He spoils me!I do best with other dogs who are not overly dominant. I require a fenced-in yard to help with my transition into my new forever home. Please give me a chance and I will give you a lifetime of love and loyalty!Dixie is heartworm positive and is awaiting a negative test result. She has completed her treatment but has some vet anxiety so instead of getting an extra poke she is being treated with 6 months of a microfilaricide, Barrier, to ensure treatment is successful. This preventative will be provided by the rescue until her heartworm test. During these months, she does not need to be on exercise restrictions unless symptoms arise. Other than the topical preventatives, all other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adoptive family. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
