Hi, my name is Meera! I’m four years old, about 20 pounds, and I’m told I’m a Golden Retriever–Dachshund mix. What that really means is that I’ve got the sweetest heart wrapped up in a small, easy-to-cuddle body. I don’t ask for much—just a soft lap, a gentle hand, and someone who likes having me close by. If you’re sitting down, I’ll happily hop up to keep you company or if you need to run some errands I would love to tag along since I’m also great in the car. I get along well with other dogs, but people are truly my favorite. I love meeting new friends and I’m quick to warm up, wagging my tail and asking for attention. My happiest moments are when I can curl up right beside you and soak in your love. I’ll greet you with joy, stay close when you need comfort, and remind you that life is better when shared.
