Mae is a sweet 65lbs lady waiting for you to win her heart. Mae is believed to be a golden retriever/lab mix, and is 6.5 years old. She is a very affectionate, loving and loyal companion. Mae takes a minute to warm up to new people and things. After you earn her trust she will love with all of her heart. She will smother you with affection and gladly accept yours. Mae loves to run around outside and doesn't love being leashed, so a fully fenced yard is required. She loves to spend time outdoors sitting in chairs soaking up the sun. She is also just as content laying on the couch enjoying a great cuddle session. She has very nice house manners and stays on all fours. Hello everyone, I'm a 4.5 year old 65 pound Golden Retriever that is looking for a family to give me lots of love. I’m very shy at first. In my past life I was pretty sheltered so I haven’t been exposed to much of this big world. I’ll need you to be a bit patient with me as a I learn to trust and experience new things. I really enjoy being pet though and I’m learning what love is; and It’s really great!! I’ve lived my whole life with other dogs, so a home with another dog would be best for me so they can show me the way. I’m sure I’ll gain confidence really fast if I have the help of a doggie brother or sister. In fact, I’m sure of it! I made some friends at the shelter already and I love going for walks with them! Speaking of siblings, I’m not to sure about little humans, so a home with young children is probably not for me. I’m really excited to start a new chapter in life and I know there are some awesome people out there just waiting to love me and give me the life I deserve.
