For the first two years of his life, Ozzy didn't know the comfort of a warm couch or the joy of being part of everyday family life. He spent his days outside on a chain with a family in Louisiana. They shared that he was wonderful with their children, but when a third baby arrived, they made the decision to give him up. Now Ozzy has a second chance—and he's making the most of every kind word, gentle touch, and belly rub! This handsome, long-legged boy is about 2 years old and currently weighs 59 pounds, though he'd love to fill out to around 70 pounds. Every day, his goofy, affectionate personality shines a little brighter. Ozzy absolutely adores people. In fact, he's so thrilled to have human attention that he sometimes forgets his manners and tries to "hug" you by wrapping his front legs around you. It's not bad behavior—it's simply the sweetest dog who's making up for lost time. With consistent training, he's already learning that four paws on the floor earn him all the love he could want. Ozzy is smart, eager to please, and loves being told he's a good boy. He sits politely for treats, takes them gently, walks nicely on a leash and happily returns to his kennel when asked. His kennel stays clean, a good sign he is house-broken, and he enjoys having a blanket and a few toys to call his own. He has that perfect young-dog energy—happy zoomies one minute, then content to sit quietly beside you soaking up pets and affection the next. Watching him romp around the yard is pure joy, but what melts your heart is how often he checks back in with his person, just to make sure you're still there. Ozzy gets along well with the dogs he's met and has shown no signs of aggression. He'd likely enjoy a canine companion, but he'd also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only best friend. His cat compatibility is still unknown. Ozzy would thrive with an active family willing to continue his training and give him the life he's always deserved. A fenced yard, regular walks or jogs, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection would make him one very happy boy. And if you catch him splashing in his water bowl, don't be surprised. Maybe swimming opportunities would be on Ozzy's wish list too. Most of all, he's looking for someone who will never leave him behind again. Meet Sadie! Sadie is a beautiful, purebred Golden Retriever who is approximately 3 years old and weighs 55 pounds. This happy, loving girl has all the classic Golden qualities we adore—she’s sweet, affectionate, playful, and always ready to be part of the fun! Sadie came to her current family about a year and a half ago after her previous family was moving to Germany and couldn’t take her along. Because her family works full-time and also has several senior dogs, Sadie has been spending approximately 12 hours a day in her crate while her family is at work. She is very comfortable in her crate and has been a good girl during that time, but her family recognizes that this isn't the life a young, energetic Golden should have. Sadie is ready for a home where she can spend much more time out of her crate—playing, exploring, getting exercise, and simply being part of the family. Sadie is house-trained, crate-trained, and she rides beautifully in the car—she practically jumps right in! She knows several basic commands, including sit, down, and come, and she is a very good listener. She also enjoys relaxing in her person’s recliner, although she happily gets down when asked. Sadie recently lived with a Labrador and two Shih Tzus and did well with all of them. She has also been around children and has been wonderful with them. Like many young Goldens, Sadie can get excited and enthusiastic during playtime, so she would love a family who appreciates a playful girl and can give her plenty of opportunities to burn off that Golden energy. Sadie loves to play ball and would enjoy regular walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of interactive play. At her foster home, she has a fenced yard and is accustomed to having room to run and play. She has not had much leash-walking experience, so that is something her new family can work on with Sadie. The good news is that Sadie is smart, eager to please, and already knows some basic commands! When it comes to personality, Sadie is happy, energetic, loving, and sweet. She has no food-guarding issues and has never nipped or bitten anyone or displayed aggression. She doesn't particularly enjoy thunderstorms, but she has a great coping strategy—she simply heads to her crate where she feels safe and comfortable. Sadie is ready for a fresh start with a family who has the time and energy to give her the life she deserves. She would love to be included in daily activities, go for walks, play ball, explore the great outdoors, and then settle in beside her people for some well-earned Golden cuddles, just like she is doing with her southern foster mom now. Her foster mom said Sadie even sleeps in the bed with the resident cat. Sadie has so much love and life to give. She just needs someone who can give her more of the time, attention, exercise, and companionship she has been missing. To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Be sure to watch her video!  Honey is a 2 month old female purebred AKC Golden Retriever who was surrendered with her littermates by their owner in rural Arkansas. This pup lives in the house with her foster family where she's lovingly cared for while awaiting her forever home. Happy, playful, outgoing puppy! Full of fun and life, very confident and never meets a stranger. Well-socialized, growing up around kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Instruction has begun with crate training, housebreaking and leash walking. AKC registration.  DOB is 7-4-26. Weighs about 10 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is an adorable puppy with a happy, loving temperament who will make a great companion for a family who loves the breed. Here's a note from the foster mom: 'AWESOME PUPPY! Sweet, loving and affectionate. It's so much fun watching her learn what toys and treats are for! She sleeps 6-7 hours in the crate at night, learning how to walk on a  leash. Is very in tune with people, very intelligent and eager to please. Plays sweetly with the young kids next door. Not cat tested. LOVES kids and is very gentle with the family’s 3 young children. Active and playful, settles down quickly in the house, good house manners. Affectionate with his people and loves to cuddle. Crate trained and housebroken. Good on the leash, rides great in the car. Currently, Stormy weighs 75# and the vet predicts he’ll be an XL dog weighing 100# as an adult. DOB is 12-24-25. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots. He recently had bloodwork and a fecal test — both clear. He has some mild hearing loss, but it certainly doesn’t impact his quality of life .. he can still hear a treat bag crinkle from across the room. Bo is being rehomed because his beloved owner is transitioning into a nursing home. This decision was made with deep care and love. For years, Bo provided steady companionship, comfort, and emotional regulation to his elderly owner. He was and is deeply loved. Ensuring his continued well-being means everything to us. In his younger years, Bo graduated puppy class and learned his basic commands. He is housebroken and understands home routines well.
