KENNEL ID #18804 Meet the Cuter Things Litter (Inspired by STRANGER THINGS ) This adorable all-girl litter came to us through no fault of their own. Their owner was arrested, and his girlfriend and the puppies had to move out by December 31st. She was able to find a family member willing to foster the mama dog, but sadly there was nowhere for the puppies to go. Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, these girls were picked up and brought to safety. When they first arrived, they looked like they’d been battling Demogorgons — but after a much-needed bath, full bellies, and some TLC, they’ve transformed into the happy, playful, very cute puppies they were meant to be. The pup's mom is a Goldendoodle mix and dad is unknown. We don’t know what they’re mixed with, but we do know they’re sweet, resilient, and ready to leave the Upside Down behind for loving forever homes. She is the sweetest dog. She gets timid around other new people and dogs, but opens up pretty quickly once acclimated. She is a very homebody type dog. Does not like to be outside, she gets anxiety from it. She has never once been aggressive since we rescued here from a shelter in Ohio 5 years ago (currently 7 years old). She lets our 3 year old daughter sit on her without a flinch. She may growl if she gets annoyed, but thats it, understandably. We want someone who is able to give her more attention than us. With 2 kids 3 and under, it has been quite difficult and unfair to her.

Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Ruby had a very difficult life before coming to us, being used as a mill mama her entire life. She is shut down at this time but is slowly starting to give us her trust. We are confident she will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands her past and gives her the time she needs to trust them and her new surroundings. Ruby loves other animals, and will thrive in a home with at least one other dog. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing—for you and them. For these dogs, everything is new and often overwhelming: people, houses, stairs, leashes, food bowls, collars, toys, TVs, ovens, doorways, pavement…the list goes on.
