Story
This golden ray of sunshine is Tulip! She came to the shelter as a stray and now she is ready to find her furever home. Tulip is as sweet as can be and just loves soaking up as much affection as possible. She is open to possibly living with other animals with proper introductions. She enjoys meeting people when she solicits attention, but she is sensitive to anyone being too handsy or in her face. Due to this, she should go to a home where any children are 13 and older. She would be a wonderful companion for any family who wants a laidback, cuddly, fluffy friend. She can`t wait to meet you soon!--If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Meet our sweetest girl, Snickers! This petite golden doodle mix had a rough start to life- she lived tethered outside 24/7 with limited interaction from her family. She was matted when she came to us, hence her goofy hair cut. This girl doesn't let her past bring her down though. She is the sweetest girl and a dream in the house. She does well in a crate and is house trained. She is easy to walk on a leash. She prefers dogs her size and larger though tends to do better with male dogs since she can be bossy at times. She currently co exists with a senior and calm cat in her foster home, but she does show interest at times, so she would likely chase a playful or timid cat. She has done well around children. She can be mouthy at times, so may do best with older children.  Snickers has went to an adoption event at the local movie theater and was a rock star! She also went on an outing to Lowes and did great! She will make a great dog for her new family! Snickers is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is available for adoption at the Pet Pantry's main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!April 17, 2026, 5:55 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/29/26 Here we have Balki. He has so many great qualities about him and loves everyone but for whatever reason, nobody has adopted him. His foster mom did a DNA test on him and despite his looks, he is 30% Golden Retriever! 22% American Staffordshire Terrier, 18% Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 18% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 11% Mini Bull Terrier. Don't let the 'Bully breeds' in him stop you. He is a GREAT dog!! All about him: Balki is a super sweet and loving boy who is good with everyone-cats, dogs, and kids. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He has long legs and a slim build. He loves other dogs and does well with cats. Great with kids! He is about 8-9 months old. We believe he may have been dumped before he ended up in rescue because he is scared of cars. When walking on leash, if he is near a car or truck, he gets visibly scared and will try to pull away. Once he is inside the car he does fine. He just has some emotional scars that are still healing. But he's getting better all the time, thanks to a foster helping him feel safe. He will likely be a big boy once grown. We believe he will be around 60 lbs once grown. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   Balki is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.   To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!April 18, 2026, 9:03 am

Story
Meet Lacey! Lacey is a gentle, 6‑year‑old, 50‑pound Goldendoodle with a soft, sensitive heart and a sweet spirit. She’s looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. Lacey has made so much progress with her foster family & is such a happy girl! Lacey thrives with a fenced‑in yard to run & play and would love a friendly resident dog to help guide her. She’s also great with cats and does well with older children who can respect her gentle nature. Because she feels most at ease when someone is around, a family where people are home often would be a perfect fit, but not required. She has a regular routine & is housebroken, but we always say that regression is common in new situations. She does well walking on a leash and does great when she is in her crate overnights and when her foster mom is at work. Lacey has a lot of love to give and just needs the right family who understands her calm & tender personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will blossom with patience and kindness, Lacey might be your perfect match. 🐾 She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all vaccines. She is a poodle-mix and will require regular grooming to maintain her curly coat. All adopters must be willing to travel to Strasburg for a meet and greet along with their dog(s). If Lacey sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an application today! Zoe’s House Rescue. Sinking Spring Pa 19608 Kennel license #9117
