Story
Names: Taco, Kylo, Ky, KyKyAge: 8-10ishFavorite things: good scratches, being told he’s a good boyWalkies: He walks well on a leash, but also has excellent recall and is happy to walk by your side off leash as well.Go for a ride?: no problems in the carTaco is the sweetest good boy you’ve ever met. He was our grandparents dog and has lived the last 5+ years in eastern Washington on a farm and enjoyed all the table food he could possibly eat.As life has changed for them, we have taken Taco into our home temporarily. He gets along very well with other dogs and has no problems with our cat either. He’s gentle with kids, but we’d recommend that he goes to a home with older (5+) kids that understand not to climb on him. Taco might need a little encouragement in a new home with moving from room to room or finding his confidence. It took a like time for him to get used to our hard floors, and still isn’t always sure about some of our kid’s toys (trampoline, swing, etc).

Est. DOB: 12/01/2025 Est. Weight: 30-40lbs full grown Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Hi, I'm Gladiator! My sister Gotcha and I recently made the journey all the way from Mexico to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue, and now we're ready to find our forever homes! (She's the one with the big ears, it's impossible to miss her!) I'm a 6-month-old pup weighing about 20 pounds, and while I'm still building my confidence, I'm making progress every day. The world is a big place, and I'm looking for a patient family who will help me continue learning that new people, places, and experiences can be fun and exciting. I'll need plenty of socialization, positive reinforcement, and understanding as I settle into home life. Having another confident, friendly dog in the household may help me come out of my shell and show me the ropes. With a little time, love, and encouragement, I'm sure to grow into a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a young pup to help blossom into his best self, I might be the perfect match for you! Apply to adopt me and see if we're meant to be a family. Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Est. DOB: 12/01/2025 Weight: Estimated to be 20-30lbs full grown Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Me and my brother Gladiator recently made the journey from Mexico to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue in search of our forever homes. I'm about 6 months old and weigh just 15 pounds, but with these oversized ears, people always think I'm much bigger! Life has been a little overwhelming for me so far, and I haven't had many opportunities to experience the world. Because of that, I can be shy and nervous in new situations. I'm looking for a family that understands that confidence takes time to build and is willing to help me learn that the world isn't such a scary place. I'd love a patient home that can provide: -Plenty of positive socialization and gentle encouragement. -A predictable routine where I can feel safe and secure. - Lots of love while I learn to trust and gain confidence. - A friendly resident dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel more at ease. Underneath my timid exterior is a sweet young pup who's ready to blossom with the right family. With patience, understanding, and a little time, I know I'll become a loyal companion and cherished member of the family. If you're looking for a special puppy to guide through life's adventures, I just might be your girl. Come meet me and see if we're the perfect match! Story
Meet Lucky! 🍀 Lucky is a beautiful 4-year-old spayed Golden Retriever mix who came to us from El Paso in search of the loving home she deserves. Lucky has had a difficult past, and while she's come a long way, she is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She can be fearful of men and will need a patient adopter who is willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Once she feels secure, Lucky forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys the comfort and stability of a loving home. Lucky is crate trained and does well with a consistent routine. She is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, as she prefers not to share her space with other dogs. Due to her sensitive nature, she would do best in a home with older children who can respect her boundaries, or in an adult-only household. Lucky's ideal family will be understanding, patient, and committed to helping her continue to gain confidence. In return, they'll have the privilege of watching her blossom into the loyal companion she's meant to be. If you're looking to make a life-changing difference for a deserving dog and can provide a calm, loving environment, Lucky may be the perfect match for you.
