And something beautiful happened…He blossomed. 🌾 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is everything you could dream of in a golden puppy: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft, and endlessly loving ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Bonds quickly and deeply ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and wonderful with older, kind kids Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 8+) ✔️ A securely fenced yard (5–6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 Kane has been seen by our wonderful local veterinarian, is strong, healthy and is getting on track with his vaccinations currently - his family fell behind in all their own turmoil.🥺🥺 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. He knows his commands (sit, down, stay, come), sits politely for meals, and is always happy to earn treats for good behavior. He’s great with kids, curious but respectful with cats, and doesn’t mind a bath or a splash in the ocean. He loves to fetch, enjoys raw bones from the butcher, and prefers to sleep close—either in bed with you or right by the door.
