Story
Est. DOB: 12/01/2025 Weight: Estimated to be 20-30lbs full grown Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Meet Gotcha! Gotcha made the journey from Mexico to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue in search of her forever home. This adorable girl may have some oversized ears that make her look bigger than she really is, but underneath those ears is a sweet young pup with so much potential! Life has been a little overwhelming for Gotcha so far, and she hasn't had many opportunities to experience the world. Because of that, she can be shy and nervous in new situations. She's looking for a family that understands that confidence takes time to build and is willing to help her learn that the world isn't such a scary place. Gotcha would love a patient home that can provide: Plenty of positive socialization and gentle encouragement. A predictable routine where she can feel safe and secure. Lots of love while she learns to trust and gain confidence. A friendly resident dog who can show her the ropes and help her feel more at ease. Due to her nervousness, she would be best suited with kids 10+. Underneath her timid exterior is a sweet young pup who's ready to blossom with the right family. With patience, understanding, and a little time, Gotcha can become a loyal companion and cherished member of the family. If you're looking for a special pup to guide through life's adventures, Gotcha just might be your girl. Come meet her and see if you're the perfect match! Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Story
Winston would prefer a quieter home with no other dogs/cats/young children. The unpredictability of the noise and stimulation from kids gives him anxiety. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and people who are home often or work from home. Winston is fully house trained and knows most basic commands. He has had prior experience in training (1:1 sessions and group classes) and really thrives in an environment where he can learn and be rewarded. He will do really anything for a treat and positive praise! He walks decently on a leash, but needs some refreshers on a "heel" command where he walks next to you instead of pulling ahead. Once he tires out, he walks nice and slow. Winston is used to being home with his people so he gets slightly anxious when he knows you are leaving. He will quickly settle and wait patiently by the front door/window/couch for you to come home. Winston's typical day looks like a late morning walk, nap time, an afternoon walk, and a nap.

Story
Hello, my name is Snow! I am approximately four years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am a beautiful girl. My people think I may be a Retriever mix. My mom looked like a Golden retriever but it’s anyone’s guess who my dad is. I’m a very loving girl. I’m very playful and get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I would do well with an active family. I would love to go on walks and be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to try some hikes and be one with nature! I am house trained, but I have never been in a crate. It hasn’t been necessary where I am. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am a smart girl and learn things quickly. I will be a great addition to any family and will bring them many years of happiness. I am healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD 🌟 Now 10 months old, Kane came to us from a home with uncertainty, not being able to rely on the humans providing his care simply put, the situation was too much for his tender young soul. 💔 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 13+) ✔️ A very secure fenced yard (6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. We place our dogs where they will truly feel safe, flourish and be loved. Our commitment is to the dogs in our care and we respectfully will decline any home that doesn’t meet Kane’s needs.🧡 Kane is current on vaccinations appropriate for his age, Microchipped and will be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 12 months of age.

Story
Penny is one of 9 from a litter I helped rescue at the beginning of the year. She was born the first week of 2026, is potty/bell and kennel trained. She knows to sit for food and treats, is very smart and picks up on training quickly. She needs a family who is active and/or can govern her a job to do. She would work well for someone who needs an assistance service dog or someone who spends a lot of time being active. She is UTD on vaccines but is still in tact and needs spay. She is on the wait list for TCAP in Joshua. She plays well with other dogs, but can get annoying with her demand for everyone to love her. lol. She is not cat trained but is still young enough to train. Please let me know if you’re willing and able to give this sweet girl a forever home.
