Me and my brother Gladiator recently made the journey from Mexico to Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue in search of our forever homes. I'm about 6 months old and weigh just 15 pounds, but with these oversized ears, people always think I'm much bigger!
Life has been a little overwhelming for me so far, and I haven't had many opportunities to experience the world. Because of that, I can be shy and nervous in new situations. I'm looking for a family that understands that confidence takes time to build and is willing to help me learn that the world isn't such a scary place.
I'd love a patient home that can provide:
-Plenty of positive socialization and gentle encouragement.
-A predictable routine where I can feel safe and secure.
- Lots of love while I learn to trust and gain confidence.
- A friendly resident dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel more at ease.
-Due to my nervousness, I would be best suited with kids 10+
Underneath my timid exterior is a sweet young pup who's ready to blossom with the right family. With patience, understanding, and a little time, I know I'll become a loyal companion and cherished member of the family.
If you're looking for a special puppy to guide through life's adventures, I just might be your girl. Come meet me and see if we're the perfect match!

Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess.
