Meet Chelsea, a 5-month-old female Golden Retriever/Malinois mix.Chelsea is such a sweetheart. She loves to get snuggles but is a big girl already at 30 pounds. Chelsea is gorgeous with her golden coloring and dark face. She is always affectionate with our staff and the perfect to start some fun training.Please remember that Chelsea is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.This pet is available for adoption on 7/27/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Hi, we're the Irish litter! We are a big family of 8 puppies! We're golden/lab retriever mixes with maybe some husky as all our tails have a beautiful curl. There are 6 females and 2 males in our litter, that's a lot of brothers and sisters! We all hope to get adopted and make a human family super happy. Right now we're getting acquainted to the puppy life! Eating, sleeping, playing, and repeating that cycle quite intensely ... hey it's hard work being a puppy! We are playful, loving, inquisitive, and sometimes a little sassy. You can be sure these pups have the luck of the Irish on our side. Plus we're mega cuties and all have unique coat colorings thanks to our parents unique mixture. Consider adopting us! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Quinn is our brave and stunning light golden rescue mama! Quinn is a 5 years young golden retriever, Quinn one of the lucky ones to be rescued from a being a commercial breeder mama, now safe from having to produce litter after litter of pups! As a Amish rescue mama, she is quickly learning that life as a beloved pet is a wonderful thing! She can be startled by loud sudden and mechanical noises - because they don't have those on an Amish farm. However, she is quickly becoming used to life in a loving home, already seeking out close comfort and affection of her foster family. Quinn loves to tuck her head under your shoulder and appreciates all the scritchers! And she absolutely loves her first toy ever, her baby lamp chop stuffie. Quinn is schedued for spay soon at our Veterinarian, but can go home sooner with a contract to ensure her spay either at our vets office in Kirkland. Quinn acts young for her age, and has the smaller build of her English cream relatives, and look at her gorgeous light, mostly white coat! She is an athetic gal, a fence of minimum 5' in height will be required to adopt Quinn.
