Meet Bread🥖— Once Born In a Cage, Now a Thriving Puppy, And Ready For Her Forever Family!✨ Update: Bread has a pending app Bread was born in a cage in an illegal breeding facility in Gumi, South Korea. Fortunately, Bread’s mom and all of her siblings were rescued. Bread has been lovingly cared for by her foster and has grown into a thriving 5 month old puppy. Bread is ready to find her forever family in the Seattle area! 💕 Here are more photos and videos of Bread: https://www.instagram.com/p/DU43EnfgbBF/?hl=en Name: Bread🥖 Breed: Golden Retriever Age: 5 months old Gender: Female Weight: 42.3 lb Spayed/Neutered: Not yet (scheduled) Energy Level: Outdoors: High (Level 7) Indoors: Medium (Level 4) Temperament & Behavior Good with dogs? Yes. Bread is social and gets along well with other dogs. Good with cats? Unknown. Good with kids? Gentle children. Slow introduction. Sociability with People: Men: Slightly shy at first, but after meeting someone 2–3 times, she becomes comfortable and will approach first to greet. Women: Also a bit shy initially, but generally feels more at ease compared to men and bonds more quickly. Behavior with foster family and visitors: She is very affectionate with her foster family and is especially attached to her main caregiver (foster mom). When unfamiliar guests visit, she tends to retreat at first and may appear timid or scared. Potty trained? Yes. She is fully potty trained for both indoor wee pads and outdoor potty. Good on leash? She used to pull on the leash slightly, but this has improved significantly. She may show caution or alertness toward unfamiliar people during walks. Currently goes on 3 walks/outings a day, 2- 3 hours. Barker? Rarely barks. Separation anxiety? She previously whined when left alone, but this has improved greatly. She does not bark or howl when alone. Mouthiness / Nipping? She may gently mouth fingers or toys during play, but this is playful and not aggressive. She usually takes treats gently. Occasionally, when excited, she may grab treats a bit eagerly, but she responds immediately when corrected. Behavioral issues: Bread can be fearful and tense in unfamiliar environments or around new people. When walking in new areas, her anxiety level may increase. Her foster family is gradually expanding her walking routes to help her adjust at a comfortable pace. Health Notes: Bread has a sensitive stomach and allergies. She is currently on a hypoallergenic hydrolyzed diet. Commercial dog treats and dental chews are avoided. Only low-allergen, hydrolyzed products are given. Personality & habits: Very people-oriented and strongly bonded to her main caregiver. Values emotional connection and interaction. Extremely affectionate with those she considers family and loves giving kisses. Very smart and learns quickly. Favorite things: New toys, walks, and treats (strong food motivation) Ideal home: A home that can provide sufficient daily walks and activities, and who understands her sensitive and cautious nature. A patient home that allows her to adjust slowly. Bread (nicknamed Soolbbang) is an exceptionally bright and intelligent dog. With a stable environment, consistent bonding, and ongoing training, she will become a truly wonderful, loving, and lifelong companion.💖 Bread's adoption fee is $750, plus US customs entry broker fee of $240. Please contact us with any inquiries/fill out the adoption application via the link in our Instagram bio.🌼 This golden sweetheart is ready to shower you with many kisses!💕

Story
We adopted Bambi on May 16, 2024 when he was about 5 months old (his birthday is mid December of 2023). He escaped his previous owner’s yard twice. The first time the previous owner paid the retrieval fee but the second time they let him go up for adoption. He is very high energy, he loves water, he enjoys begin outside, and very social and friendly with other dogs. He was house trained when we got him, and warmed up to us immediately. My work schedule has been become demanding and with him being so high energy, I do not have the ability to take him on long walks and to the dog park as much as he needs. I am looking for a good home, hopefully one where at one person can work from home a couple times during the week. He gets squirrelly when left alone and I cannot support that need anymore. I have doggy beds, a crate, a ton of toys and everything he needs but looking for someone that can physically be there for him more. The adoption fee is to cover the site’s listing fee.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. FOREST is a very sweet male Golden Retriever mix we believe. DOB 10./15/2025…currently 26#s. He and his sister came into rescue from a family with “too many dogs”… not necessarily a hoarder but did not spay and neuter their adults. We have since been working with them to accomplish this. FOREST is going to be about 45-50#s when grown. He is sweet and easy going. He loves the other dogs, big and small, and left my cats alone except for trying to play with them occasionally. He also had the opportunity to be in our house with the other dogs…and even went outside multiple times a day for their potty run. He is not yet house broken but he’s getting there. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Meet our well rounded veteran, Reed! Reed is a 5 year old golden retriever, looking for a strong new team and a chance at his own personal Super Bowl win! Reed is being brought in from a rough past that held him back from all that beautiful golden potential... he needs a new team behind him - his forever family. If you are ready to give your heart and get a golden life in return, and the ability to offer a soft place to land, he needs you now. Because loyalty like this shouldn’t get passed over.
