He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Hello, my name is Snow! I am approximately four years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am a beautiful girl. My people think I may be a Retriever mix. My mom looked like a Golden retriever but it’s anyone’s guess who my dad is. I’m a very loving girl. I’m very playful and get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I would do well with an active family. I would love to go on walks and be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to try some hikes and be one with nature! I am house trained, but I have never been in a crate. It hasn’t been necessary where I am. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am a smart girl and learn things quickly. Animal Information: Ringo came to his current caretaker through a contact of his owner who was no longer able to care for him. He was living on a porch day and night. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had much formal training and can be a bit challenging to manage on leash, especially for someone using a wheelchair. At 3.5 years old and 65 lbs, Ringo is a strong, active dog who can show some leash reactivity due to insecurity and excitement. He would benefit greatly from a foster or adopter who is willing to provide structure, set clear boundaries, and continue working on his training. Despite these challenges, Ringo has a great temperament. During his evaluation, he showed himself to be a friendly, good-natured dog who simply needs consistency and guidance in his daily life. He currently lives with another dog and has experience living with children ages 5–13. Ringo is house-trained, comfortable in his crate, and enjoys meeting new people. With the right support, he has great potential to become a well-balanced and happy companion. Foster Profile: Ringo is friendly with everyone he meets and has a big, happy personality that makes him a joy to be around. Playful, affectionate, and social, he loves being included in the fun and thrives on companionship. He’s crate trained and house broken, and he does best with structure and consistency.
