Story
Alpine was born on 5/22/23 and we brought him home in early October with the goal of training him to be a psychiatric service dog for our autistic teen. We have realized, however, with our work schedules, that we are not going to be to accomplish this goal. We LOVE Alpine - he is a wonderful, sweet, affectionate puppy who would be a great emotional support dog for someone who could be with him most of the time. He does experience separation anxiety in that if his people are around he wants to be next to them. He also has some aversion to getting into cars from motion sickness that he had when he was much younger but from which he has recovered - he's made a lot of progress in that area. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids. Requirements before we consider approving an adoption: 1) Agreement for at least 3 sessions with our trainer (thus the adoption fee); 2) A home visit before you meet Alpine; 3) That you live in the Seattle area; 3) A visit with Alpine at our home.

Betty has been spayed, fully vaccinated and now that she has settled into the PNW life, is ready for her perfect family. Betty is a silly girl, a real sweetheart who loves pets, and to be touched. She loves her crate too, and to collect all her toys back to her crate and hoard them. Betty is excellent on a leash, bonds to humans quickly and would do best as an only dog. She is the quintessential golden retriever, excited to see you and be with you! Betty needs to find that special forever family who won't let her down. Like all of our golden retrievers, Betty will require a fully fenced yard to ensure safe playtime.

Meet our park RANGER! He'd like like to walk the parks, the streets, a hike or run at the beach - or, he'd be happy to sit by your side while you work from home all day too! Ranger is a local owner surrender who arrived in our care with his uncle, Moose. While these two boys love each other, they can be adopted separate or together. Ranger loves and seeks out affection from his humans and is eager to please, he definitely prefers to be near his people! Ranger enjoys tug of war, playing with his favorite toys, but his favorite is going on his daily walks. He is very interested in other dogs on his walks and has been working on good manners with other dogs. Ranger knows a good nap when he sees the opportunity and won't hesitate to go in for some snuggles and scratches from his person - that's the best part of his day! Ranger has that big, loving, golden energy and is ready for a home of his own! He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and ready for adventures with you! Like all our sporting and herding breeds we will require a 5' or higher fence for adoption.

He has settled in with his foster family, plays well with others, is fully housetrained and ready to find his forever family! We believe Louie would do best in a home with another dog who can show him the ropes of being a beloved pet and how good life can be! Louie is about 5-1/2 years young, so beautiful and with so much life ahead of him. Louie has been neutered, has had a dental cleaning, is up to date on vaccinations and just needs you! My name is Joong bak and I am a playful Retriever mix, aged 3. Sadly, for most of my life, I had to wander here and there, and no one knows where I am from. However, as there is no such a law that lets me die, I met a kind chairman who helped find a place to stay and get fed. Now, I want to move forward finding my forever home and share my happy virus to my family. If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would be 'Energetic!' I find joy in every activity, especially when it involves human companions. There's always a reason to be happy, right? Welcoming people with open paws is my forte, and I thrive on the love I receive through cuddles and, of course, snacks. I'm a snuggle expert, though my excitement can sometimes get the best of me due to my limited experience with humans. Hence, a family ready to handle my high energy level is strongly recommended. While I'm friendly, a household with cats or young children might not be the best fit, as my exuberance tends to express itself through jumping. My friendliness is extended to my doggie friends too. I can share treats and toys with them, and love to smell out each other. Enjoying fresh atmosphere with committed physical activity with friends makes me blessed. Being aggressive or assertive will be the last words you can find from me. I carry no aggression and boast an innocent and pure mind, as noted by my handler. Of course, outdoor activities are my No.1 things to do. I prefer to do my business outside, and I need to consume sufficient energy with intensive exercise which is very Retriever thing. If you can assist me in becoming a better walker, that would be the perfect gift. And imagine the joy we could share by exploring riversides or mountains together!
