Story
Est. DOB: 05/27/2025 Current Weight: 60lbs Adoption fee: $495 Meet Zeus, a reserved young Goldendoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for people! This sweet boy is especially wonderful with kids and truly lights up when he’s part of family fun. Zeus does great with other dogs, though he may appreciate slow, thoughtful introductions to help him feel comfortable and confident. He can be a bit timid at times, but with patience and reassurance, his friendly and social personality really shines through as he settles in and builds trust. While Zeus hasn’t lived with cats, he has been introduced to them at the rescue—and it turns out he was more scared of them than anything! With proper introductions, he may do just fine in a home with feline friends. He’s looking for a home where life is active and full of love—ideally with a yard where he can romp, play, and stretch those doodle legs. Zeus would thrive in a home where someone is around often, especially one with kids who can be his playmates and cuddle crew. If you’re searching for a sweet, affectionate companion who will bring warmth, loyalty, and a gentle spirit into your home, Zeus might just be your perfect match! (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Story
Hi… I’m Blanc 🤍 For a long time, I stayed very quiet. So quiet that people sometimes didn’t even notice I was there. I spent almost a year in a shelter, just waiting… not really knowing what I was waiting for. But now, I’ve been given a chance. A real chance to start my life again—with a family. Since leaving the shelter, I’ve been discovering the world little by little. At first, everything felt new and unfamiliar… but something has been changing inside me. I’ve started to wag my tail more, to play, to show my little bits of affection. I think… I’m learning how to be happy. I like people. I really do. Even if I’m a little shy at first, my heart warms up quickly. And with other dogs, I get along just fine—I enjoy having friends around me. My fur is soft and fluffy, and I love gentle touches. If you sit beside me and reach out your hand, I’ll slowly come closer… and maybe, one day, I’ll lean into you without hesitation. There are still many things I don’t know yet. I might not understand house rules right away. I’m still learning about walks, about potty training, about how to live inside a home. Sometimes I might make mistakes… but I promise, I’m trying my best. Because I’ve never really had a family before, being alone might feel a little scary at first. New places and new people can make me nervous too. But I’ve heard that with time, patience, and love… those feelings can fade. What I need isn’t a perfect family. I just need someone who will wait for me, teach me gently, and grow with me. I may seem a little unsure in the beginning, but if you stay with me… if you give me time… I will open my heart. And when I do, I’ll show you a brighter, playful side of me— the kind of happiness that only a dog who has learned love can give. I’ve spent enough time waiting. Now, I just want a warm home… and someone to call my own. Will you be my forever family? 🤍

Story
Hello, my name is Snow! I am approximately four years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am a beautiful girl. My people think I may be a Retriever mix. My mom looked like a Golden retriever but it’s anyone’s guess who my dad is. I’m a very loving girl. I’m very playful and get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I would do well with an active family. I would love to go on walks and be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to try some hikes and be one with nature! I am house trained, but I have never been in a crate. It hasn’t been necessary where I am. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am a smart girl and learn things quickly. I will be a great addition to any family and will bring them many years of happiness. I am healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD 🌟 Now 10 months old, Kane came to us from a home with uncertainty, not being able to rely on the humans providing his care simply put, the situation was too much for his tender young soul. 💔 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 13+) ✔️ A very secure fenced yard (6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. We place our dogs where they will truly feel safe, flourish and be loved. Our commitment is to the dogs in our care and we respectfully will decline any home that doesn’t meet Kane’s needs.🧡 Kane is current on vaccinations appropriate for his age, Microchipped and will be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 12 months of age.
