Russ is such a sweet boy. He loves ALL the attention and has plenty of energy to do anything you ask of him! He lays down when nothing exciting is happening but is always up for play. He is great with other dogs and kids- not sure about cats. He is house trained fine but has chewed a kids toy here or there when left out. He loves a good bone to chew. He is 4 years old, we have had had him 2.5 of those years. We love him dearly but he needs more time and exercise outside the house and yard than we are able to give. He is a snuggler and his absolute favorite thing is to chase a laser light. He is 50% poodle, 25% golden retriever, and 25% yellow lab, so he is not hypoallergenic. He takes a little while to warm up, so he requires a patient owner who will work with him on manners, as he occasionally jumps, and pulls on a leash. He is a good boy, and I think these behaviors will mellow with more attention and time.

Russ is a loving and exciting new best friend who is ready for adventure. He enjoys all the walkies, playing tug of war, fetch, and resting his head in your lap. His favorite pastime is chasing a laser light after dark. He will be happiest in a home with other dogs and older kiddos, if any. He just gets too excited to be careful and will accidentally knock little ones down. Russ LOVES to be the center of attention. Meet Grace! This beautiful girl came from an accidental litter. She and her siblings started their lives in the backyard, scrounging for food scraps. Thankfully they are all safe with us in a foster home and are thriving. Grace is a beautiful mix of Setter and Golden. She has a tall, lanky look to her and is just stunning. She has a sweet personality and loves other dogs. She is timid in the world - still learning how everything works. She will greatly benefit from having another confident dog in the home. She is not well suited to apartment living and we would love to see her in a home with a yard. She does well with kids but we prefer kids over 8 as she can startle a little at times. She is learning to be by herself occasionally but finds that difficult. She will need some help with this. She is learning to walk on a leash and is getting the hang of that. Grace will be vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix is our best guess. She weighs about 65 pounds. She is 4 years old. She is pretty good on the leash and is very affectionate. She is definitely a people person and likes strangers. She has one blue eye and one golden brown eye. She has the feathering of the Golden Retriever. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is not over the top active and likes to rest and be affectionate as well. She would be fine with a moderately active family. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.
