Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis. He will need to stay on a specific food, and most likely will require life long daily medications. Mac is 1.5 years old. He has been with us since a puppy. He loves to be a lap dog and loves leaning against you and get ear scratches. Unfortunately, several new families moved into our neighborhood over the summer with a lot of kids now running up and down the road. This has caused a change in Mac’s demeanor and has become more reactive towards children and our other dogs which he has been around since we’ve gotten him. As much as we don’t want to, we have made the hard decision to find another family for him. One without other smaller dogs and young children.
