Story
Meet Mae! This beautiful girl is a 6-month-old, 50lb Great Dane mix. She is full of energy and is ready to be the best playmate for her forever family! Mae is a typical puppy and absolutely loves to play! If it squeaks or rolls, she loves it. She will even wander around the yard collecting sticks for your spring fires. When it comes to potty time, Mae is still learning, but she is making progress and goes quickly whenever she is taken outside on the leash. Mae is crate trained and has no trouble going into her crate where she sleeps quietly throughout the night. Mae has lots of puppy energy to burn and would love an active household to keep her moving! From learning to play fetch in the yard, going for a long walk, or romping around with a doggie playmate, Mae is ready for it all! She plays well with her human brother and dog foster sisters, but does not yet understand how big she is in comparison. Mae might due best in a home with older children, adults, or dogs near her size. Mae is currently located in the Cincinnati, OH area and her adoption fee is $400. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis. He will need to stay on a specific food, and most likely will require life long daily medications.  If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic .We cannot guarantee breed or size when full grown. ##1604201##

Story
Benny is a joyful, playful pup full of energy and always ready for his next adventure! He loves squeaky toys and will happily bounce around the yard or play a game of fetch to burn off some of that fun-loving energy. He’s great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a family. Benny is already house trained and crate trained—such a smart boy! He’s currently working on his basic commands and will need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him polish his manners. With his long legs like a Great Dane and a sleek Lab-like coat, Benny is as handsome as he is athletic. He would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. After a day of fun, Benny is more than happy to hang out with his people and soak up all the love. If you’re looking for a happy, energetic, and affectionate companion, Benny just might be your perfect match! Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Name:  Lucy Age: 2 years Weight: 95 lbs Adoption Fee: $350.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes, but she can be a little pushy so a mellow dog would be okay   Good with cats?  Yes   Good with kids?  Yes, but due to her size she needs a home with kids who are at least 5 years old and used to being around dogs    Lucy was surrendered to a shelter when her owners were no longer able to care for her   She was very thin and had a serious case of happy tail (tail damaged from hitting it on things and it wouldn’t heal).   She is now a healthy weight, has a nub tail and we did a Gastropexy (stomach tacking) when she was spayed).  We were told she has a chicken allergy so she’s been eating lamb and rice food, with no issues.     She has no idea how big she so her goal in life is to be a lap dog.   Lucy is sweet and loves being the center of attention.     Don’t wait!  Get your application in now for this amazing dog.  Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, micro chipped and had gastropexy surgery.   Her adoption fee is $350.00.     Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          March 16, 2026, 12:18 am
