Story
Meet Freddy. Freddy is a young, Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his spirit. With an inquisitive mind and a playful attitude, he’s always ready to make new friends, both human and furry! Freddy is very shy at first, and it takes him some time to trust and open up, but he’s beyond sweet and gentle. Freddy is an affectionate soul who loves nothing more than a good cuddle and the warmth of a loving home. Freddy would need a family who give this young boy the puppy structure and training he needs, even though he’s already crate and leash trained. Freddy does very well on walks and in public, but again is shy towards strangers. Freddy would love to live with another confident dog, to show him the ropes. With his bright and kind personality, Freddy is sure to bring joy, love, and laughter to his new family. Are you the one he’s been waiting for? If you’re interested in meeting Freddy, please fill out an application below and a member of our team will reach out - https://www.underdogheroes.org/applytoadopt

Story
Hibiscus is the sweetest, most loving, and gentle girl. She loves attention and will melt right into your lap to shower you in kisses. She's very submissive and the bottom of the totem pole. She doesn't cause any trouble and just wants to make you happy and be told she's a good girl. She's wonderful with other dogs, children, cats, and horses too. She craves to be inside as part of a family. Despite her breed mix, she doesn't need a ranch or a ton of room. Just someone home often and able to give her endless love. She's an amazing dog! Story
Anna is a beautiful white Great Pyrenees with an enormous heart and a very simple wish to belong to a family. She isn't looking for a ranch to patrol or a job to perform. She wants to be your girl and be the one who sleeps inside, joins you on family adventures, and ideally gets to claim a spot on the couch or maybe even in your bed. Anna is incredibly loving and adoring. She thinks everyone she meets is a friend she simply hasn't met yet, and she is happy to welcome strangers with an open heart. In fact, Anna would probably be more than happy to show a new visitor exactly where the food is kept in the refrigerator. Hospitality is clearly one of her strengths. She is wonderful with children and other dogs, and her gentle, affectionate nature makes her a lovely family companion. Anna wants to be involved in her family's life rather than left on the sidelines. She wants to follow her people, spend time with them, relax in the house, and be part of whatever the family is doing. While Great Pyrenees are often associated with farms, livestock, and outdoor guardian work, Anna is looking for something different. She is a house dog and a family dog. Her ideal home understands that she is happiest when she is included, loved, and allowed to be part of the family and not simply kept outside to watch and wander the property. Its not really her thing, she'd more prefer daily neighborhood walks to interact with the world and see new sites and new smells daily. Anna has the heart of a devoted companion and the presence of a giant white teddy bear. She wants to love her people, be loved in return, and know that she truly belongs. If you're looking for a beautiful Great Pyrenees who wants to be your family member rather than your livestock guardian, Anna may be your girl. She isn't looking for a job. She's looking for you. Story
Why this pet is the one for you: Say hello to Fluffiana! We are still learning about Fluffiana’s unique personality, but we would be happy to introduce you to her to see if she is a good fit for your family. Meet Fluffiana, a beautiful 7-year-old Great Pyrenees girl with a gentle heart and plenty of love to give. This sweet senior lady is looking for someone who will appreciate all the wonderful things that come with welcoming a mature dog into their life. Fluffiana is a lovely walking companion and does well on leash, making strolls together an easy and enjoyable part of the day. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she may need a bit of patience and time to feel comfortable. But once she realizes she is safe and surrounded by kind people, Fluffiana warms up and lets her sweet personality shine. There is something special about giving a senior dog the chance to be part of a family. Fluffiana has already grown into the dog she is meant to be, and she would love nothing more than to spend her days enjoying the simple things: leisurely walks, a cozy place to relax, gentle affection and the companionship of someone she can trust. Fluffiana may not be the first dog to rush up and say hello, but give this lovely girl a little time, and you may find a loyal and loving companion waiting to blossom. At 7 years old, she still has so much life and love ahead of her, and she deserves the chance to spend those years feeling safe, loved and truly special. If you have room in your heart for a gentle senior Great Pyrenees who just needs a little time to warm up, please consider meeting Fluffiana. She could be the sweet, steadfast companion you never knew you were looking for. If you’d like to meet this beautiful pup, speak with our team today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. This pet is now ready for adoption! Primary Color: White Weight: 94 Age: 7yrs 0mths 0wks
