Story
Sweet Boy showed up here barely able to walk. Nursed him back to health. He prefers outdoors but likes to come inside and visit and will spend the night inside and is house broken. He is a gentle giant and is excellent with children and cats and other dogs who do not want to fight. He once defended my life against a much larger stray who showed up on the property, refusing to allow the growling and charging dog to get near me. He is an excellent watch dog. He prefers to run around property but is good on a leash for a walk. He needs a loving home as I am being forced to move from the property and cannot find a place that will allow a large dog or a proper and safe place to live with him. He would benefit from being around other dogs, however is fine on his own. He is loving and loyal, medium energy, goofy and has a great sweet personality.

Story
Cleo is a five-year-old Perri Doodle who came into my life in July 2025. He was given to me by a friend who was going through a divorce & could no longer care for him. Before coming to my home, Cleo spent most of his days in a crate and was only let out to eat and go outside to relieve himself. When Cleo joined my home, I wanted him to finally experience freedom and comfort. He has been allowed to move freely throughout the house and enjoys having access to a large backyard. However, Cleo is not accustomed to being around other people, and because of his limited past experiences, he has escaped the yard a few times. My son & son-in-law have tried to help me work with him, but due to all of our schedules, we simply cannot give Cleo the consistent time, attention, & structure he truly needs. I am looking for a patient, caring home where Cleo can receive the attention, training, and stability he deserves. He has so much potential, and with the right person or family, he can truly thrive.

Story
Meet Hank!   Hank is a gentle, relatively calm puppy for his age with a big heart and a smart little brain to match. He’s already showing how intelligent he is—he learned to sit in just two tries and is happy to do it again for treats.   Hank gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs and is an excellent car rider. He even visits the office with his foster mom and handles it like a pro. He loves being outside, enjoys squeaky toys, and is just as content relaxing on a cool tile floor.   At night, Hank sleeps peacefully in his crate with no accidents. While he’s not fully house-trained yet, he’s doing very well for his age when taken outside frequently.   One thing you’ll notice right away is Hank’s super soft, extremely thick coat—it’s gorgeous and will require regular brushing and grooming to keep it looking its best.   Hank is a sweet, well-mannered pup who’s off to a great start and will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. A young, friendly companion dog is highly recommended. Fenced yard required for off leash playtime. Adoption fee $600. Hank is 3 months and 17 lbs.   Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.  March 4, 2026, 9:59 pm
