Athena looks like a movie star! Her owner could no longer take care of her and she arrived to the shelter on 5/10. Athena is 6 years old and weighs in at 70 pounds. She has a gorgeous white coat that is as soft as cotton. She knows to sit when asked. She is a perfect lady on a leash. She has a fun side and doesn't mind playing dress up. It is reported that she is house trained, good with children and other dogs. She is not a fan of cats. It is also reported that she has separation anxiety. This sweetheart has lots of love to give to a new family and just wants to be loved in return. Could Athena be the one for you? Ask for ID# 18897 Run 856. Lucile is crate trained, housebroken, sleeps through the night, and is highly food and treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. Tank is very affectionate and tends to be a little clingy—he loves being around his people and thrives on attention. He’s great with both people and other dogs, making him a good fit for a social home.Tank is also quite the talker, so expect some personality and communication from him! He does best in a home where he’ll get plenty of attention, love, and interaction throughout the day.Tank also struggles with separation anxiety and has trauma associated with being in a cage. When left alone in a crate while his owners are at work, he can become highly distressed, leading him to try to escape, which may result in self-injury. During these episodes, he may also get into things he shouldn’t and even move the crate around in his attempts to get out.We’re looking for a home that can match his energy, give him the time he needs, and truly make him part of the family.
