Story
Cleo is a five-year-old Perri Doodle who came into my life in July 2025. He was given to me by a friend who was going through a divorce & could no longer care for him. Before coming to my home, Cleo spent most of his days in a crate and was only let out to eat and go outside to relieve himself. When Cleo joined my home, I wanted him to finally experience freedom and comfort. He has been allowed to move freely throughout the house and enjoys having access to a large backyard. However, Cleo is not accustomed to being around other people, and because of his limited past experiences, he has escaped the yard a few times. My son & son-in-law have tried to help me work with him, but due to all of our schedules, we simply cannot give Cleo the consistent time, attention, & structure he truly needs. I am looking for a patient, caring home where Cleo can receive the attention, training, and stability he deserves. He has so much potential, and with the right person or family, he can truly thrive.

Story
Odin is a beautiful 5-year-old purebred Great Pyrenees with a loyal heart and a classic guardian personality. He is deeply devoted to his people and takes his role as a protector seriously. This decision has been incredibly difficult, but our goal is to find Odin a home where he is fully understood and can thrive.Odin does best in a calm, structured, adult-only home with experienced handlers and consistent boundaries. He has had rare biting incidents involving children in very specific situations—typically when food, confined spaces, and multiple people are present. These incidents did not cause serious injury and have never occurred with his adult owners. He is comfortable around food with his people but does not like face grabbing or restraint by unfamiliar individuals. With proper management, these situations are avoidable. In the right home, Odin is affectionate and loving. He enjoys belly rubs, lounging anywhere he’s allowed, and playing with large stuffed toys.

Story
Looking for a loyal, extra-large, companion to fill your home (and your heart)? Meet Denaly, a 4-year-old, 100-pound, Great Pyrenees with a big heart, a soft spirit, and a serious love for car rides and butt scratches!   Denaly is a classic Pyrenees - calm, affectionate, and happiest when he’s got room to roam. He loves relaxing in the yard (especially when the weather’s cool) and keeping a watchful eye over his “kingdom,” so a home with a 6-foot privacy fence would be ideal.   He enjoys being near his people and would make a wonderful companion for someone who works from home, though he’s equally content snoozing the day away if you head out to work.   Denaly walks beautifully on leash and is eager to please, though he may get a little excited when he spots other dogs. He’s easy to redirect and loves praise and encouragement.   He’s potty trained, knows a few basic commands, and gets along well with most dogs. He loves morning play sessions with one of his foster sisters! With his gentle nature and friendly personality, Denaly is great with respectful kids (12+) and makes fast friends with everyone he meets.   If you’re ready for a loyal, fluffy friend who’ll bring calm energy, love, and laughter into your life, Denaly is waiting to meet you!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          January 28, 2026, 1:23 pm

Story
Bmo is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees, he is a playful, affectionate and loving dog that has never met a stranger. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccines. He’s great with kids, and other dogs when he can be properly introduced and thrives when he can be outside playing with his people or other dog friends. He’s well trained with commands like sit, stay, lie down, and he loves to give big bear hugs. He’s truly a big teddy bear that only wants to be able to run and play and snuggle, he is able to entertain himself when he needs to but his happy place will always be with company. He’s a very well behaved dog, his only issues we’ve seen have been barking and playing keep away when it’s time to come inside and he needs a little enticing sometimes with treats or a short walk but that is perfectly on par with the Pyrenees breed. He is prone to itchy ears but isn’t a stranger to taking pills and ear washes. He has a lot of love to give, he needs a family who can give him more care than we can.

Story
Zelda is a beautiful almost 4-year-old Great Pyrenees–Golden Retriever mix with a gentle soul and a loving heart. She’s a thoughtful girl who takes a little time to build trust, but once she does, her affection is deeply rewarding. Zelda bonds best with people who respect her space and let her move at her own pace.Zelda prefers to be the only dog in her home, as she does not enjoy sharing her space or food with other dogs. She thrives in a calm environment where her routines are predictable and peaceful. So far, her favorite things include basking in the sunshine, enjoying quiet mornings, relaxing through lazy afternoons, and, of course, treats—which are truly the way to her heart. We’re still learning all the things that make Zelda happiest, but it’s already clear she’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter looking for a loyal companion who appreciates the simple joys of a serene life.Currently, I am available for adoption. If you`re interested in adopting me, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 or Friday and Saturday 1-5. All of my love and kisses!
