Story
The good: Bucky is a friendly, easy going guy. He’s grown up around young kids, dogs and cats and is fine with all (will playfully chase a cat occasionally, but knows when to stop). He is half Great Pyrenees, a quarter mastiff and a quarter border collie. Despite the border collie he is not a high energy dog. Happy to go for a walk but happy to lounge around the rest of the day. He does not bark excessively. The bad: Bucky loves to mark, to be fair I think someone can break this bad habit but I put a diaper on him when he’s in the house to be safe. From what I’ve read this is a Great Pyrenees trait to ward off predators. He also pulls on a leash, not anything crazy but we use a prong collar to help with this. He’s been taught basic commands but the only one he consistently listens to is “sit”. In short Bucky is a classic case of great potential with owners who don’t have the time or skills to get him there. He’s close with our older dog and I think he’d do best with another dog

Story
Moby is by and large a good dog, but has shown some agression toward our small children and therefore cannot be kept in our home, nor can he go to a home with young kids (under 8-9 years old). He is also dog and cat reactive/aggressive and cannot be around other animals. He does suffer with separation anxiety and is on Trazadone. He is leash trained and loves going for walks! He is super sweet and loving toward adults he knows and is a huge couch potato. I would love to find him a home with a couple or single adult with no kids and no pets and a fenced in back yard. He was not raised on a farm, and will not adjust well to that lifestyle, so he will need to continue being an indoor dog.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ferdinand was found running with the chain he lived his life on through the city. While with us, he has made amazing strides from being a dog with little human or animal interaction. He is great with dogs, cats and we would imagine everything else. He is a quiet, gentle giant. He is still shy and growing each day- he now wags his tail for walks which is new. Story
Looking for a loyal, extra-large, companion to fill your home (and your heart)? Meet Denaly, a 4-year-old, 100-pound, Great Pyrenees with a big heart, a soft spirit, and a serious love for car rides and butt scratches!   Denaly is a classic Pyrenees - calm, affectionate, and happiest when he’s got room to roam. He loves relaxing in the yard (especially when the weather’s cool) and keeping a watchful eye over his “kingdom,” so a home with a 6-foot privacy fence would be ideal.   He enjoys being near his people and would make a wonderful companion for someone who works from home, though he’s equally content snoozing the day away if you head out to work.   Denaly walks beautifully on leash and is eager to please, though he may get a little excited when he spots other dogs. He’s easy to redirect and loves praise and encouragement.   He’s potty trained, knows a few basic commands, and gets along well with most dogs. He loves morning play sessions with one of his foster sisters! With his gentle nature and friendly personality, Denaly is great with respectful kids (12+) and makes fast friends with everyone he meets.   If you’re ready for a loyal, fluffy friend who’ll bring calm energy, love, and laughter into your life, Denaly is waiting to meet you!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
