Story
Jumping Jack Junior is a dog with a huge smile and the most handsome good looks ever.   He is a Golden/Great Pyr mix that is only one year old and weighs 61 pounds.  We are guessing his breed but he seems more Golden in size and then more Great Pyr in appearance.  This boy is joyous and couldn't be more of a free spirit and  with an inviting personality to come and play with him and let him love your family.  Junior found himself in a Texas shelter because his owner was evicted from her home.  The two small 15 pound dogs living there with Junior, also lost their home and are in the shelter.  Junior has been a great big brother to these small dogs and he is most certainly now willing and able to be a friend to other small dogs and animals if needed.  He has no aggression in his soul and he is NOT reactive to any new encounters with other dogs when on a leash.  He is passive and fun loving and adores meeting new people to become his friend.  He is leash trained and housebroken and just one of those gorgeous A+++ dogs that you really need to consider taking home if you like the bigger than life luxurious dogs.  He is a Jumping Jack Prince of a dog.... Junior promises to be one of your best decision when adopting a dog to be by your side for the next 15 years.  If you are interested please don't hesitate and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We can adopt him to Tennessee residents and also can transport him to northeastern families.  Just mention when you live when inquiring and asking for an application.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2025, 1:16 pm

Story
Meet Indie – Your Sweet, Smart and Adventure Oriented Best Friend!    Hello world! I’m Indie—an irresistible bundle of fluff born on March 22 to a sweet, wise mama who’s a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix and quite possibly part angel. I was one of 12 siblings (yes, a full dozen!) and we all made it through strong, happy, and ready to take on the world—one cuddle and tail wag at a time. Right now, I’m living my best puppy life in a loving foster home, where I’m learning all the good stuff: crate training, house manners, and how to charm the socks off every human and critter I meet. I’ve got crystal-blue eyes, a snowy white coat, and a heart as big as my future paws. My foster mom says I’m the perfect mix of playful explorer and champion snuggler. I love kids, cats, dogs, and even the big grown-up pups who teach me the ropes. I dream of a home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs, sniff all the good smells, and maybe one day become your hiking buddy, running partner, or front porch nap companion.   Indie isn’t just a name—it’s a lifestyle. I’m independent, spirited, and full of joy. And trust me, if I’m at the end of your leash, you’re going to make a lot of new friends—because I’m sooo cute it’s basically magic.   If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and paw prints on your heart, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. I can’t wait to meet you!   Love & tail wags,Indie   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 14, 2025, 1:13 pm

Story
Have you ever seen cuter puppies than these Lab/Great Pyr mix babies?   Born on March 17th this litter of 12 pups, mostly girls , are now seeking homes to start a new life.   At 9 weeks these girls are only 10 pounds and very sweet.  Beautiful and well socialized, These pups were born to a mom who is 65 pounds and a version of a Great Pyr and something else.  She is solid white as well.       Our guess is that these pups will be the same size as mom and in the 55-65 pound range.   Critter Cavalry Rescue has started the process of giving all of their parvo distemper shots, series of 3 shots and they are being wormed and fed a healthy brand of puppy chow that will help them grow big and strong.  These puppies have been with young children in the original home they were born in.  This is how we can assure you that they are 'kid proof' and have been handled and hugged.  The momma Dog has been spayed as of 5/29 and she will never again have an accidental litter.   But these will be her legacy.  Momma Winnie is a soft, sweet girl with a loving temperament and easy going personality.  All of the puppies seem to take after her and we are very excited about placing them in the best homes possible over the next 4 weeks.    If you are interested, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  Please let us know where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN to the northeastern states as well as adopting locally in Tennessee.                    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 29, 2025, 10:36 pm

Story
Meet Ivy – A Gentle Spirit Waiting for Her ForeverBorn March 22 | 13 lbs (as of June 1) | Great Pyrenees/Lab Mix | Nashville, TN   There’s something incredibly special about Ivy—a softness, a quiet joy, a sense that she was made to be someone’s perfect companion. Born into a litter of twelve, Ivy is the daughter of a beautiful white Great Pyrenees/Lab mix mama, who passed down not just her snowy coat but also her calm, loving nature.   As of early June, Ivy weighs about 13 pounds and is expected to grow into a graceful 60-pound adult, just like her mom. She’s a fluffy little cloud right now, with fur so soft you won’t want to stop petting her—and she’ll be right there, belly up, soaking in every moment of affection. Ivy loves gentle play, curling up in the shade, and following you around with quiet curiosity. Her temperament is peaceful, her energy balanced, and her heart wide open.   Ivy leans more toward her Great Pyrenees roots—intuitive, sweet-natured, and eager to connect. She’s already showing signs of being a fast learner and a true people-pleaser. Whether you’re a family looking for a gentle pup to grow up with your children or a solo adopter seeking a steady, loving presence in your life, Ivy will meet you with loyalty, patience, and unconditional love.   She doesn’t need the spotlight—she just needs someone to see her for who she is: a soft soul with so much love to give. Imagine coming home to her quiet tail wags, her warm snuggles, and the peaceful comfort of knowing you’ve found your dog.   Ivy is being lovingly fostered in Nashville, Tennessee, and is available to homes in-state and in the Northeastern U.S. through our trusted weekend transport service.   If Ivy sounds like the one you’ve been waiting for, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption form. Be sure to include your location so we can help guide you through the next steps.   There’s a home out there meant just for Ivy.
