Story
Meet Primrose Primrose is a Great Pyrenees mix wrapped in luscious cream and white fur. Her coat is smooth and silky, and her eyes carry the softness of a dog who feels deeply. She came from a hoarding situation and arrived unsure of the world. In a safe home, her sweetness surfaced quickly. Beneath the shyness is a loving, gentle girl who wants nothing more than security and companionship. Personality Primrose is a gentle soul. She is affectionate without being overwhelming. She offers soft kisses and leans in quietly once she feels safe. She can be sensitive to loud sounds and fast movement. Rambunctious children and busy environments make her nervous, and she will remove herself from noise rather than react. She may flinch at sudden sounds, which reflects her past, not her heart. She loves other dogs. They give her confidence and comfort. In fact, she seems more relaxed and social when out on leash, often appearing friendlier to both people and dogs in that setting. Energy and Lifestyle Primrose has beautifully balanced energy. She enjoys strolls, gentle play, and light engagement, then settles easily at home. She walks very well on leash and finds comfort in the rhythm of a calm walk. She is crate trained and house trained, making her an easy addition to a structured home. Ideal Home Primrose would thrive in a quieter, calmer household with another steady dog to help guide her. She needs patience, kindness, and a predictable environment where she can continue building confidence. She may be wary of strangers at first, but once she trusts you, she gives her whole heart. Primrose is ready for a peaceful life filled with safety and love. In return, she will bring softness, loyalty, and quiet joy to the family lucky enough to welcome her home.

Story
Pepper is a sweet girl looking for a new home. She needs a home with either no other dogs, male dog, or one that is incredibly laid back. As well as a home with kids older than 3 preferably. She ADORES her people and gets along with most any dog she doesn’t live with, unless the other dog pushes her buttons. She has gotten along with smaller dogs as well and has lived with cats and chickens. But I would not recommend her living with a smaller dog long term. She LOVES being outdoors, loves to go on hikes, loves to swim. She displays the typical Pyrenees stubbornness, selective hearing, and resource guarding IF another dog tries to eat her food. So please be mindful of your experience with the breed. Side note: she is NOT a trained livestock guardian dog. She is a house dog who likes to lay on the sofa and cuddle.

Story
Meet Chip! He is one of six young Great Pyrenees mix puppies who found themselves homeless—until Miss Kayla came to their rescue. She loaded up her truck and whisked the pups away to safety. Unsure of what awaited them, the puppies were overjoyed to discover they were headed to a beautiful farm, where they will stay with Miss Kayla until their forever families find them.   The puppies have plenty of space to run and play, enjoying daily exercise as they race to the pond. On warm days, you’ll often find several of them taking a joyful dip—white dogs and muddy water make for lots of fun! Chip and his siblings are exceptionally smart. They’ve already mastered sit, stay, roll over, and give paw, and they’re always eager to learn new tricks. All of the puppies are kennel trained and making excellent progress with potty training. Each one knows exactly which kennel is theirs for mealtime and bedtime—impressive for such young pups!   You won’t find a more loving litter of puppies. They nap and play together all day, forming strong bonds with each other. While they don’t need to be adopted as a group, these social butterflies will thrive best in homes with another dog for companionship. If you’re looking to welcome a BIG boy or girl into your family, one of these pups could be the perfect fit. They will be spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped before adoption. Puppies are required to receive three vaccines at three-week intervals, and they’ll be ready to travel to their forever homes on April 3.   To be considered as a forever family and to request an application, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311. An approved application and adoption fee are required. (These wonderful pups are located in Tennessee and can be transported north on April 3.)February 17, 2026, 1:53 pm

Current Location: Charles Town, W.V. Hi, my name is Mellow! I am a pretty lady from the State of Mississippi. I love everyone and would be so happy to have a special dog friend to play with. I love belly rubs, leisure walks, plush toys, nylabones, and yummy treats. - House trained - Walks well on a leash - Human, dog, and cat friendly - Calm but playful - Sweet and affectionate Mellow's ideal home would be with a loving family that gives her time to build trust and blossom into the dog she's meant to be. A fenced-in backyard would help Mellow feel safe and comfortable to explore her surroundings with a dog sibling. I’m looking for my forever family! Is that with you?
