Story
Charlotte is not only a sweetheart but she is very smart. She is happy to join you as you watch tv or play fetch outside. She is very food motivated so she learns tricks easily as long as treats are involved. Charlotte is potty trained!!!! We leave Charlotte in a crate while we are out working and she has no accidents. Charlotte also sleeps through the night and is not destructive. No shoes have been harmed during the foster period.  Charlotte will learn your routine in no time and be an amazing family pet. I have truly enjoyed fostering her and she has made it very easy. Shes a big baby that weighs over 30 pounds already but she is extremely sweet and loves her people. Adoption Day: March 21st at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!  ##2560872##

Story
When HART first rescued Newton, this gorgeous boy was very shy. Since being in a loving foster home, he has shown significant improvement! He is less shy when meeting new people, and after proper introduction, he seeks out chin scratches and belly rubs. Newton has enjoyed running in the backyard, chasing a ball, and he will certainly need a secure, fenced yard to safely explore and get his zoomies. Newton is house trained, sleeps well at night in his kennel, does not have separation anxiety, occasionally barks but settles down, takes treats gently, and knows basic commands to include "sit", "stay", "wait" and knows to wait for "yes" and "OK" before proceeding. He walks well on a leash particularly in the neighborhood and on trails but needs additional training to prevent occasional pulling. He sheds his gorgeous coat once a year and fortunately loves to be brushed with a wire brush to keep it under control. He gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction and would benefit from having another confident dog in the home. Newton is not at all aggressive and responds to scary or new situations by backing away so he can get comfortable on his own terms. As he continues to overcome his shyness, he has shown that he is eager to explore, have new experiences, and meet new people. Newton is looking for a family that will continue with his training and socialization to ensure he will reach his potential. Inquire about meeting Newton because it will be love at first sight! Story
We adopted Olive in 2022 and she's the sweetest thing. She is very anxious and needs a lot of love and patience and definitely a yard. We have an apartment and a baby now and she needs more than we can give her. She loves snuggles and pets, other dogs, and children. She's anxious around other adults until she gets to know you and then she's a friend for life.

Story
Sylvia is the kind of dog who makes people stop and smile before they even realize why. With her enormous, cloud-like head of white fluff and soulful expression, this Great Pyrenees girl radiates beauty and quiet confidence. Born around November 5th, 2025, Sylvia already carries herself like royalty and truly believes she deserves to be adored. And honestly, once you meet her, it’s hard to disagree.   Sylvia is deeply people-oriented and thrives on connection. She wants to be wherever her humans are, involved in whatever they’re doing, watching closely and making sure she’s not missing a thing. She has no hesitation about expressing her feelings and will gently but clearly let you know when she expects attention, affection, or reassurance. Grooming time is one of her greatest joys, and she soaks up brushing, petting, and pampering as if it were her rightful due.   Playtime brings out her youthful sparkle. Balls and squeaky toys are her absolute favorites, and she delights in engaging both people and other dogs with her friendly, confident nature. Sylvia approaches new humans and canine friends with ease, showing no shyness and a naturally social heart. She has spent time with children, allowing herself to be hugged, handled, and even carried around with remarkable patience and grace, clearly enjoying the attention. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her calm and tolerant temperament suggests she would adjust just fine.   Sylvia will grow into a large and impressive dog, expected to reach at least 80 pounds. As a true Great Pyrenees, she will need space to roam and fulfill her instinct to observe and patrol her surroundings. A securely fenced yard is essential unless she has access to wide-open acreage where she can stretch her legs and feel at ease. With the right environment and a family that appreciates her devoted, affectionate nature, Sylvia will be an extraordinary companion who adds joy, beauty, and a little sparkle to every day.     If you are interested in adopting this beautiful great pyrenees puppy who is ready to come to your home on January 30th please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at Ccrnewengland@gmail.com A   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet sweet as maple syrup Maple! She is one of six young Great Pyrenees mix puppies who found themselves homeless—until Miss Kayla came to their rescue. She loaded up her truck and whisked the pups away to safety. Unsure of what awaited them, the puppies were overjoyed to discover they were headed to a beautiful farm, where they will stay with Miss Kayla until their forever families find them.   The puppies have plenty of space to run and play, enjoying daily exercise as they race to the pond. On warm days, you’ll often find several of them taking a joyful dip—white dogs and muddy water make for lots of fun! Autumn and her siblings are exceptionally smart. They’ve already mastered sit, stay, roll over, and give paw, and they’re always eager to learn new tricks. All of the puppies are kennel trained and making excellent progress with potty training. Each one knows exactly which kennel is theirs for mealtime and bedtime—impressive for such young pups!   You won’t find a more loving litter of puppies. They nap and play together all day, forming strong bonds with each other. While they don’t need to be adopted as a group, these social butterflies will thrive best in homes with another dog for companionship. If you’re looking to welcome a BIG boy or girl into your family, one of these pups could be the perfect fit. They will be spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped before adoption. Puppies are required to receive three vaccines at three-week intervals, and they’ll be ready to travel to their forever homes on April 3.   To be considered as a forever family and to request an application, please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311. An approved application and adoption fee are required. (These wonderful pups are located in Tennessee and can be transported north on April 3.)March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
