Story
Nice to meet you, I'm Ace! I may be a little older, but I still love to have fun. I'm a gentle giant, so please don't let my size intimidate you. I love having my belly rubbed, but may need a bit of time to warm up to you first. I'm the kind of dog who could just lie in the sunshine all day, and show off my signature smile! I know a whole bunch of commands, such as sit, stay, down, high five, and paw. Due to my size the staff at MCHS believe that I would do best in a home with adults only! No Children!. Since I'm a bigger boy, no apartments please since I need more space to accommodate me. Also, I like being the king of the castle, so no other animals please. Just me and my fur-ever humans having fun would be a dream come true! If I sound like the perfect pack mate, fill out an app today!

Story
Hi - Wally is my name! I am a beautiful boy as you can clearly see! As a Great Pyrenees mix I have a beautiful, soft coat and sweet eyes. I am also a dog that needs some space and I love to have room to roam outside. I did not come to FOHA with a lot of information, but they think that I may not have lived much time in a home. Some of the things in the home can scare me like the TV. So I will need to be in a home with no kids because the activity may be too much. I should also not be on a farm with small livestock. I would like a yard and outside space to explore. Apartment and condo living is not a good fit for me. I would do well with a family with Great Pyrenees experience who understands the ins and outs of my breed. I can use some training to help me be the best me! If this sounds like you, please submit an application and my friends at FOHA will schedule a time for us to meet! See you soon!! Story
Hi there, My name is Misty, and let me tell you, life has thrown some curveballs my way. Alongside my fur sibling, Moose, I lost my home and family, and it broke my heart. But you know what? Thankfully, FOHA (Friends of Homeless Animals) came to our rescue and saved us both. Now, I'm ready to find a forever home filled with love and warmth. Since arriving at FOHA, I've been getting settled and adjusting to my new surroundings. It hasn't been easy, but I'm staying positive and hopeful. One of the best parts of my day is joining dog play groups. Whether Moose is with me or not, these playgroups are a source of pure joy and socialization. I get to interact with other dogs, and it's such a blast! I must admit, when I'm excited, I tend to get a little vocal. It's my way of expressing my enthusiasm and joining in on the fun. Trust me, it's all in good spirits! I'm just a big ball of fluff who loves life and can't help but let it show. With my soft and fluffy coat, I'm practically begging for endless cuddles and snuggles. I'm a big sweetheart who adores attention and affection. When it comes to companionship, I'm the best sidekick you could ask for. My playful nature and loving disposition will bring so much joy and laughter to your life. If you're searching for a loyal and fun-loving dog, I'm right here, ready to be by your side. We'll create memories together, embark on adventures, and form a bond that can withstand anything. I promise to be your most devoted and loving companion. Come visit me at FOHA and witness firsthand the happiness and love I bring to every moment. Choosing me means opening your heart to a furry friend who will fill your life with endless affection and happiness. Let's make our lives brighter together! I can't wait to meet you and become a cherished member of your family. Adopting me, Misty, means embarking on a beautiful journey of love, laughter, and lifelong companionship. Don't let this opportunity slip away.

Mimi is a very sweet younger female Great Pyrnese MIx, she was found on the side of the road during a thunder storm, scared and lost she was brought to us and turned out to be a very sweet sweet girl. We searched for a owner and posted online looking for her owner but no one was responsive.  So we took her to our local vet and had hr vaccinated, spayed, and chipped.   She loves all the other dogs and loves to play.  She is doing well on a leash and loves to be loved with good company.  Mimi is currently living in the Texas Hill Country and can be transported to any where in the United States and Canada.  Please inquire about Mimi or fill out our online application. Great Pyrenees lovers, meet Charlie!!! this big lug of love is so sweet and gentle, he loves everyone he meets and everyone that meets him feels the same attraction. He’s just a year and a half old and starving for that loving family. Charlie is an excellent health, has been neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines and micro chipped. His human father has fallen very ill and reluctantly must rehome a sweet boy. He would make a great family dog just give him a chance. Text Ada at 276-494-6718

Story
Yadier (Yadi) is 1.5 years old and an absolute goofball. According to his DNA test, he is predominantly equal parts Great Pyrenees, boxer, and American Staffordshire terrier. Yadi loves his family more than anything. He is cuddly with his people and just a ball of sunshine! He will cuddle with you on bed or couch. He has a lot of energy but can calm down and chill -- chews/toys help! He has a solid obedience background -- come, sit, shake, place, and stay -- and is very food motivated. He smiles and has a wiggly butt. He's always dreaming in his sleep and it is hilarious to watch. On a leash, Yadi is overall well mannered, but he may bark at other dogs if he either finds them concerning or wants to meet and play with them. Yadi would prefer to have a fenced yard, but would probably do fine without a fenced yard if his family is ready to take him places, such as hikes, pretty regularly.
