Story
Jasper`s favorite spot in his foster`s house was the backyard porch. He loves the outdoors. For the most part he is very quiet and aloof. Once you get to know him he has a goofy side to him and will happily prance to the door when he knows it`s time to go out. He is crate trained and really good about going outside. He walks pretty good on a leash. Jasper is a very sweet and loving dog with people. He loves attention - he will lay by you and put his paw on your foot. He loves scratches and snuggles. He seems to Know his basic obedience including sit, stay, lay down and come.

Story
https://foha.org/pet/wally2021/ Hi - Wally is my name! I am a beautiful boy as you can clearly see! As a Great Pyrenees mix I have a beautiful, soft coat and sweet eyes. I am also a dog that needs some space and I love to have room to roam outside. I did not come to FOHA with a lot of information, but they think that I may not have lived much time in a home. Some of the things in the home can scare me like the TV. So I will need to be in a home with no kids because the activity may be too much. I should also not be on a farm with small livestock. I would like a yard and outside space to explore. Apartment and condo living is not a good fit for me. I would do well with a family with Great Pyrenees experience who understands the ins and outs of my breed. I can use some training to help me be the best me! If this sounds like you, please submit an application and my friends at FOHA will schedule a time for us to meet! See you soon!! Check out all of the dogs available at Friends of Homeless Animals! https://foha.org/pet-adoption/find-a-dog/

Story
Paris-Great Pyrenes/Border Collie female, ~ 3 yr. (May 2023) Email rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Paris was adopted from the Rescue as a small puppy. Recently she was returned to the Rescue when they could no longer take care of her. She's lived her whole life in a family setting and is used to being around other dogs. Cats do not seem to interest her either. Paris needs an experienced dog owner as her new home. She is well mannered, crate trained, house trained and walks well on the leash. She' s a large size adult, probably close to 100#, and enjoys an active lifestyle. The adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.
