Story
Bodhi's story before coming to us is a mystery, but one thing is certain—life wasn't kind to him. This sweet boy was thrown over the fence at our rescue, frightened and unsure of the world around him. Shortly after arriving, he became sick, but thanks to lots of love, care, and good food, Bodhi is now healthy and finally ready to find the forever family he deserves. Bodhi gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. He can be quite vocal during playtime, happily barking as he races around the yard. He's also a bit of a klutzy goofball whose zoomies are guaranteed to make you smile! When Bodhi first arrived, he struggled with resource guarding around food. With patience, consistency, and trust-building, he has made incredible progress and will now happily eat from our hands. He will occasionally try to resource guard a favorite toy, but he's learning that he doesn't have to. We are able to easily redirect him, and with continued consistency, positive reinforcement, and training, we believe he'll continue making great progress. While he can be a little shy when entering a new room or unfamiliar situation, once he feels comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality shines through. Bodhi is crate trained and is looking for a home with someone who has experience with his breed or a similar working breed. He'll thrive with an adopter who understands the importance of continued training, structure, and positive reinforcement to help him continue building his confidence. If you're looking for a resilient, goofy, and loyal companion who's overcome so much and is ready to start his best chapter yet, Bodhi is waiting to meet you. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Hey HEY!! We are the Disney pups and we are READY for our FAIRYTALE ENDINGS!! You know.... the "ride into the sunset" kind of endings! That is where you come in! A few things about us first.... we are sweet and loving pups. We were born to a scared mama (Pyrenees) and her resident boyfriend , German Shepherd and we were loved on by an older couple who cared for us until their health took a turn ;( so the rescuers took us in and fattened us up and they LOVE US! But that is not enough for us :) We want it ALL! They call it the "dream package"- a home, a family and a ball gown with glass slippers too! Each one of us has been through the "tried and true" package and we passed with flying colors! So it is your turn to do the right thing and adopt one of us fairytale puppies!! We will be BIG adults and are all fluffy, so must have a hair plan :D Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area(

**If you`re interested in meeting, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment**Meet Sheriff!Sheriff is a 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with a calm, steady personality and a handsome brown and white coat. He had a rough start in life, being raised in an apartment and not getting out much, so he’ll need patience, gentle guidance, and continued training as he learns about the world. We don’t have information on his history with kids or other pets, so slow, supervised introductions are recommended. Sheriff will do best with an adopter who understands guardian breeds and can offer structure, confidence, and regular exercise.City of Everett residents will be required to purchase a $30 pet license at the time of adoption.

Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Shrek is a great name for me! I am kind of a sweet OGRE looking boy with a loving heart and kind of beat up body. It is HARD to live on the streets! I had an old injury so limping was my norm. It was discovered that my back leg had been broken and healed very wonky. Now my bad leg is gone and I am pain free! NOW, I am a healthy TRIPOD boy looking for just the right family...one who will care for me for all my days! I deserve it and you deserve this cute OGRE in your life too!
