Story
Puppies! Puppies! We have puppies! We have 3 puppies. They are 9 week old Husky mixes. And are they cute!! They are cuter than cute! We do not have names yet and we do not know which one is a male or female. This information will be available shortly. The puppies got their first vaccine and worming. They are very healthy puppies. They are not going to grow up to be small dogs so if you do not want a big dog, we ask that you please not respond. You MUST own your own home. Absolutely no condos. Absolutely no apartments. In the puppies' new homes, children must be 8 years old or older. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for the puppies is $250.00 each. No credit cards. If you are interested in a puppy (or puppies) and ready for a new friend, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. We are now accepting applications. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS! Stay tuned ...

Story
Cute little Dice is ready for a home of his own. He is sweet, loves all kind people, and really likes playing with other fun pups. He is going to be a pleasure to train as he grows up. If you think he might be a good fit for your household, we'd love to hear from you. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Stella really is that girl! Beauty, brains, great manners, and some gorgeous blue eye to top it all off! This beautiful 3-yr old Husky mix with stunning pale blue eyes weighs 55 lbs and is a happy girl with a silly Husky personality. And we mean Husky personality in the best possible way- communicative, playful, curious, and smart. She loves everyone she meets and really enjoys playing with other dogs in her foster home. She is potty trained and ready to be a wonderful new member of your family. If she sounds like a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you. Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. Story
Lola is a sweet, smart, two year old dog that's ready to bring the fun to her new home. She gets along great with other dogs and LOVES to play with them. She is in foster care with a fenced yard & doggy door and takes full advantage of them- letting herself out to zoom around the yard and go potty as needed, and of course to play with the other dogs in the household. She is also a big fan of taking her blankets outside to get comfy in the yard, which her foster mom is of course always thrilled about. 😂When playtime is over, she is happy to entertain herself with a chew toy. She is smart and loves people- enjoying attention and praise motived. If you're looking for a fun new 4-legged family member, Lola would a great addition. Lola is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility.
