Story
Cleo is a beautiful 3½-year-old Husky, German Shepherd, and Shar Pei mix with the sweetest soul. She came into my life when she was about 2 years old after her previous owners had to rehome her due to moving. Since then, she has shown nothing but love. She’s affectionate, playful, and truly loves being around people. She likes being included in daily life—whether that’s hanging out with family, going on walks, or enjoying time outdoors. She’s an active girl who enjoys exercise, mental stimulation, and exploring outside. Cleo does best with regular walks, playtime, and activities that keep her engaged. Because she loves people so much, she would thrive in a home where someone is around often and treats her as part of the family. Cleo is house-trained, well-mannered, knows her commands and loves kids. She’s gentle, friendly, and eager to bond with her humans.

Story
Stella really is that girl! Beauty, brains, great manners, and some gorgeous blue eye to top it all off! This beautiful 3-yr old Husky mix with stunning pale blue eyes weighs 55 lbs and is a happy girl with a silly Husky personality. And we mean Husky personality in the best possible way- communicative, playful, curious, and smart. She loves everyone she meets and really enjoys playing with other dogs in her foster home. She is potty trained and ready to be a wonderful new member of your family. If she sounds like a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you. Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella lives in an Alabama Foster Home and will transport when she is adopted. We look forward to speaking with you about this Dog. we have been adopting dogs to families in the north east and New England for over 15 years. Ella was surrendered to a vet. She is about 3 1/2 years old and she weighs 62 pounds, we don't expect her to grow any larger. With exercise, she may drop a few pounds. She was in boarding two months when they asked if we could get her out of boarding. She went into a foster home with an ER nurse, spouse, and other adult dogs. She is a dominant female, but she has not been difficult for her experienced foster mom. Ella is enjoying freedom out of boarding. She's crate trained and house trained. She's good on a leash. We prefer she goes to a home with a confident, male dog or that she's the only dog in the home. We have no history of her living with children, so we prefer that she go to an adult only home. Ella is spayed, recent on all vaccines, microchipped and she's receiving monthly parasite prevention, which is the treatment for a light heartworm positive test. Do a little research or message us so we can talk. A light heartworm positive means she was recently infected by a mosquito carrying a heartworm larva. The monthly prevention that she receives kills that larva in her bloodstream so that it never develops into heartworms. Just like if you were giving it to a dog that was heartworm negative every month, you will not know the difference. When Ella retests in 2027, we expect her to be negative, as long as she receives her monthly topical treatment. So if you adopt Ella, she also comes with 12 months of her preventative that is also used as her treatment. She also comes with her medical records. Ella's total adoption fee is $585, which includes transportation, a health certificate from licensed veterinarian, and her 12 months of preventative. The next Transport to is March 19, or there MIGHT be room the weekend of March 26. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. Story
Zelda and Ziggy are siblings who were rescued when their owner passed away. They are getting spoiled rotten at their foster home and they even sleep in the human bed. They are getting crate trained as well. They were very malnourished when they were first rescued but they are getting full bellies now and all the vetting they need and they are healthy, happy, playful pups despite their rough start. We estimate they were born about the first of December so if all goes as planned they will be fully vetted and ready to travel by the 2nd-3rd weekend in March. These pups are fostered in West TN but transport can be arranged. The adoption fee is $399 and transport is an additional $200 Please submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Most of your questions can be answered through our website at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
Meet Jackson, a handsome adult (estimated age 4-7 years old) neutered male husky who is every bit as sweet as he looks! This boy weighs about 47 lbs currently. His fur makes him look bigger than he is, but he's actually a bit underweight and needs to gain a few lbs (his foster is working hard at this, which Jackson does not mind ONE bit! ).  Jackson is a very sweet, friendly boy who loves his people and enjoys making new friends - human and canine alike! He loves kids, but we recommend older kids 8+ or dog savvy kids, as he may unintentionally knock over a small child. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Jackson can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how he settles in before committing to adoption. From Jackson's current foster:  "Jackson is a super nice, clean boy with flawless house manners. He has had no accidents and is not destructive at all. He's actually quite calm and extremely affectionate.  His loving nature sets him apart -- he makes himself available for hugs and petting. He's been wonderful with the neighborhood children. Everyone is his friend. He's a sweet deserving dog who is going to make someone very happy." He is medically up to date, housebroken (both his current and prior foster report that he has not had a single accident in the house!), and crate trained. Apply to meet this good boy today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2517941##
