Story
NOKI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED! Husky lovers meet Noki! He is a very energetic, extremely happy, heartworm negative boy who is looking for his forever home. Last October, a good Samaritan was notified of a dog that had been dumped on a backroad and needed help. This good Samaritan took him in to begin his new chapter of his life. He went straight to the bath (which he did amazing in). It's very obvious whoever had him before was not kind to him like his new foster. He wouldn't walk into a room if he saw a man standing there. He didn't seem to know much about being inside or even how to be a dog for that matter. His foster would give him a bone, and he would just rub his face on it; she would turn on the tv, and he would run and hide behind the couch. He wanted so bad to be around people, but he didn't understand how to go about it. Fast forward to 6 months later, Noki has completely transformed! Yes, he still has some ways to go, but he is a totally different dog than the one found dumped on a backroad last year. He has never met a dog that he didn't like. He isn't picky either about his dog friends; they can be bigger or smaller as long as they want to play with him! He's still learning how to walk politely on the leash; he tends to pull out of pure excitement of seeing all the new sites! We are still working on crate training as well. Being a husky, he is very vocal at times, especially if he doesn't agree with the situation. He goes in the crate politely, and he will quiet down after a bit, but he will sure let you know he feels about it for a bit. All of that said, as soon as he sees you coming to get him, he gets so excited waiting for his next adventure with you. Please consider opening up your home to this goofy, loving, and resilient dog who is just searching for a place to finally call home.  Noki is completely vetted and ready for adoption! He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and current on prevention. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Noki up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Noki here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
**Husky experience or similar breed experience required**Name: Logan Breed: Siberian Husky Age: Under 3Kids: 12+Dogs: YesCats: NoLogan came to MHS from a partnering animal control that asked us to help out. This handsome guy is estimated to be 3 years old and is longing for his forever home.Logan loves his car rides and his walks! He’s also quite the fan of tennis balls! When not out on an adventure, Logan can be found lounging in the shade in our expen. This guy has a very easy going personality and is a fan of all humans! Logan would prefer a home with a fenced in yard and someone with a very active lifestyle that can get him out for lots of walks/runs to explore the world. Logan is too excited to play with cats, so a cat free home would be best. Logan loves other dogs, and would benefit in a home with a dog his age or slightly older that he can learn from. Logan is neutered, micro-chipped, and utd on his vaccinations. If you are interested in Logan please fill out an application today!https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

Story
Our neighbor's nephew rescued Yuki from an abandoned apartment building last April ( 2023). The vet estimates she was 18 months old at that time. When we saw our neighbor walking her we fell in love and instead of taking her to the pound, our neighbor gave her to us. Yuki got a long great with our other dog, a blonde mixed breed medium size sweetheart for the first two days. Then she began getting aggressive towards her over food, water, & affection. In the last year and a half that we've had Yuki, she has had a handful of bad fights with our other dog. Sometimes our other dog starts the fight, Yuki always wins because she's bigger and has more fur which protects her. Yuki is spayed. She's so loving, & loves her daily hikes in the woods ( off leash ) and on the beach. She has amazing recall and doesn't run away! She loves kids/ people & likes to play with other dogs. She needs to be walked/ run daily. She is a hunter &catches squirrels easily. No cats!! She's 3 now & we will miss her

Story
Sophie is a 2 year old gem of a dog! She looks like a husky mix for sure, but her foster mom reports that she is pretty darned chill in the house. She likes to play outside, she's potty trained, walks great on the leash, and she enjoys her dog friends. She came to foster care with her best buddy (and probably her sister) Rita and they are thick as thieves, but she gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home so we are sure she would do just fine being adopted on her own. She is smart, eager to please, and very please so she is going to make a wonderful addition to her new home. Sophie is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
