Story
Talk about a handsome guy. This beautiful boy has the sweetest personality to match his good looks. His favorite thing might just be going for a ride. Trucks, cars, side-by-sides — if it moves, he wants in. He would definitely choose the front seat if given the option, happily watching the world go by beside his person. Crates are not really his style, though. He much prefers hanging out where the people are. Right now he is staying in a home with cats and has done great. He will sniff them curiously and if they run, he simply trots off too. No drama from this laid-back guy. He also gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the home and greets everyone he meets with happy tail wags and a friendly attitude. This sweet stray wandered up to a house looking for help, and it did not take long for everyone to fall in love with him. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys being around people, and seems ready to trade his wandering days for a loving family and a comfy place to call home. Woofie is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. Story
Lola is a sweet, smart, two year old dog that's ready to bring the fun to her new home. She gets along great with other dogs and LOVES to play with them. She is in foster care with a fenced yard & doggy door and takes full advantage of them- letting herself out to zoom around the yard and go potty as needed, and of course to play with the other dogs in the household. She is also a big fan of taking her blankets outside to get comfy in the yard, which her foster mom is of course always thrilled about. 😂When playtime is over, she is happy to entertain herself with a chew toy. She is smart and loves people- enjoying attention and praise motived. If you're looking for a fun new 4-legged family member, Lola would a great addition. Lola is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. Stella really is that girl! Beauty, brains, great manners, and some gorgeous blue eye to top it all off! This beautiful 3-yr old Husky mix with stunning pale blue eyes weighs 55 lbs and is a happy girl with a silly Husky personality. She is potty trained and ready to be a wonderful new member of your family. If she sounds like a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you. Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. Story
Okay, so we know this gorgeous husky is named after the God of Mischief, but he's definitely more of a fun-loving, handsome fellow than an agent of chaos! He's completely house trained, rides nice in the car, and he'll go in his crate although doesn't love it so he would appreciate a kong, antler, or something fun to entertain himself with while he's confined. He is smart, athletic, and would thrive with an adopter with some husky experience or that has at least done some research on the breed. He is very smart, he isn't super treat motivated, so he would love a home where he can be active and engaged. He was recently pulled by his foster from a local shelter and was thin under all of that fluff so he is about 47 lbs now but will be heavier & more filled out by the time he is ready to head to his new home. If you're looking for a smart, athletic buddy for your outdoor adventures, we'd love to hear from you. Loki is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test.
