Story
When Nova came to us, she had some medical issues that needed to be addressed. We did that! Now they're all in the past and she's ready to find her very own forever home. If you live in CT and would like to adopt this beautiful girl, please complete an online application: https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved Nova is a husky mix, about 4 years old. She was saved from euthanasia by an independent rescuer. It turned out she was pregnant (which no one knew) and she had her puppies, who were all placed. Nova developed vaginal hyperplasia following their birth, and our rescue agreed to take her. She was treated for that and has been spayed, and she's now completely recovered! She will probably do best as an only pet. She has had her differences with other dogs in the past, especially when she was a new mom. She absolutely loves all people, and is happy to live with children. Nova is house trained, crate trained, and knows all of her basics. She's a totally awesome dog who will make a terrific family member!

Story
Husky people in CT need to head on over to our application page and fill out an application for Maximus - stat! https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved This boy is a gem! 💥 He looks to be a purebred Siberian husky, although it's impossible to tell for sure without dna testing. He is a great dog who just loves everyone! He's not super high energy although he'd absolutely love a fenced yard and a family to take him on adventures. ❗About 2 years old ❗Siberian husky ❗Good with both dogs and cats ❗Good with children 7+ years old ❗House trained ❗Crate trained ❗Knows some basics ❗Up to date with vaccines ❗Tested negative for heartworm and tick-related illnesses ❗Neutered Now all he needs is to find his family! Max will do best in a rural or suburban environment. He would not be a good match for apartment or condo life, and would not be happy as a city dog. We'll give preference to people with breed experience. Please don't keep Maximus waiting. He's all set to be a wonderful member of the lucky family who adopts him!

Story
Woofie is 6 years old and an all around very good boy! Talk about a handsome guy. This beautiful boy has the sweetest personality to match his good looks. His favorite thing might just be going for a ride. Trucks, cars, side-by-sides — if it moves, he wants in. He would definitely choose the front seat if given the option, happily watching the world go by beside his person. Crates are not really his style, though. He much prefers hanging out where the people are. Right now he is staying in a home with cats and has done great. He will sniff them curiously and if they run, he simply trots off too. No drama from this laid-back guy. He also gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the home and greets everyone he meets with happy tail wags and a friendly attitude. This sweet stray wandered up to a house looking for help, and it did not take long for everyone to fall in love with him. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys being around people, and seems ready to trade his wandering days for a loving family and a comfy place to call home. Woofie is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested *** for heartworms. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Lola is a sweet, smart, two year old dog that's ready to bring the fun to her new home. She gets along great with other dogs and LOVES to play with them. She is in foster care with a fenced yard & doggy door and takes full advantage of them- letting herself out to zoom around the yard and go potty as needed, and of course to play with the other dogs in the household. She is also a big fan of taking her blankets outside to get comfy in the yard, which her foster mom is of course always thrilled about. 😂When playtime is over, she is happy to entertain herself with a chew toy. She is smart and loves people- enjoying attention and praise motived. If you're looking for a fun new 4-legged family member, Lola would a great addition. Lola is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test.
