Flair is a cool name, eh?? It is a particular "bright light" kind of name ;) I am a bright light in the land of rescues.... I was found with my friend, Cisco, looking for the light of a welcoming home... and we FOUND the rescue :) I am petite flower, of less than 40# and full grown. I have lots of fun with my doggy friends and I love all the rescue peeps who are caring for me until I get my own home! I have beautiful markings and coloring... my creamy white, with blonde highlights, silver and black all together gives me a very unique look and I will stop people in their tracks to tell you how gorgeous i am!! If you like to have a bright spark on your leash, want to love me and give me all kinds of fun, hiking, camping, family adventures, I AM YOUR GIRL!! Adopt me soon!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
So my name is Diamond, which we all know is an END product of extreme pressure and raw materials.... and I think my name reflect me pretty accurately! I was found by my "owner" many years ago, but was abandoned by him when he broke up with his girlfriend and she inherited me..to put it nicely..... THEN, she couldn't keep me and I came to the rescue..... I am 6 yrs old but my eternal puppy face" can be misleading. However, I play like a puppy and am GREAT with other dogs! I am a gentle and happy girl who deserves my own family again! I have an OLD injury from my days on the streets, my back leg was xrayed and determined it is old injury and I take glucosamine for joint health. I am a fluffy, puppy faced sweetheart! DON'T PASS ME UP! I am here, waiting :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

SOS! Solomon is a wonderful 9 yr old husky boy needing an urgent home with no cats or chickens. He was surrendered for euthanasia for killing chickens. Huskies are notorious for escape artists when they are bored. He is fully vetted and house trained. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. His adoption fee is only the cost of transport. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
*HUSKY OR SIMILAR BREED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!* Meet our radiant red Husky girl named Lady! Lady is about 2 years old and she was surrendered to our shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. Lady is a very sweet and friendly girl who loves all people! She is a playful girl who loves toys and belly rubs! Lady will sit politely for a treat and she takes them gently. She spent a lot of time outside at her last home, but she seems to prefer being with people getting attention rather than being left outside alone on her own. Lady will flop right over begging for belly rubs and full body pets! She is also a great couch cuddler. Lady does have Husky energy and she currently weighs about 65 lbs. We are looking for a home with Husky, or similar breed experience, for Lady to go to. She is fine with other dogs and tends to act more submissive towards them. Lady can go to a home with children 10 years old and older who have dog experience. If you are interested in adopting Lady, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOU EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME. For more info please call 203-235-4179 (Always Leave A Message) or email adopt@savingpawsct.org

*HUSKY OR SIMILAR BREED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!* Meet our beautiful blue eyed Husky boy named Lucky! Lucky is about 2 years old and he was surrendered to our shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. Lucky is a very friendly boy who is outgoing and playful! He can get jumpy when he is excited, but he listens well to correction. Lucky is a food motivated boy who will sit politely and take treats gently. He spent a lot of time outside at his last home, but he seems to prefer being with people getting attention rather than being left outside alone on his own. He is a great cuddle buddy on the couch and loves a good head scratch. Lucky does have Husky energy and he is a larger guy currently weighing about 75 lbs. We are looking for a home with Husky, or similar breed experience, for Lucky to go to. He is fine with other dogs, but we do think he will prefer to be the dominant dog in the household. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Huckleberry Finn — Searching for His Tom Sawyer ✨🐾 Age: 3 years Weight: 43 lbs Breed Blend: Alaskan Klee Kai–type (aka: compact husky charm with extra personality) Huckleberry Finn isn’t just a dog — he’s an adventure waiting to happen. With his bright eyes, playful spirit, and happy-go-lucky personality, Huck is always ready for whatever the day brings… especially if it involves fun, friends, or snacks. He’s currently living peacefully with other dogs and cats (yes, even the cats), proving he’s as easygoing as he is handsome. Huck loves being part of the action, whether that means zooming around the yard, hanging with his dog pals, or sticking close to his humans like a loyal sidekick. 💡 Fun Fact: Huck strongly resembles an Alaskan Klee Kai, which means he’s smart, curious, athletic, and full of personality — basically a husky in a perfectly sized, more manageable package. Best of all? He’s got the brains and the manners. 🐾 Huckleberry Finn’s Favorite Things: 🦴 His beloved dog bone (though sticks and “found treasures” are also acceptable) 🤲 Head and belly rubs — bonus points if both happen at once 🐾His signature moves: • A Snoopy-style howl • The adorable head tilt + paw lift combo • Leaning his whole body into you like, “Yep. You’re mine now.” ✅ Why Huck Is the Total Package: Sweet, affectionate, and gentle Great with kids, dogs, and even cats House-trained and knows basic commands Smart and eager to learn (already understands a lot of 'human talk') Playful, adventurous, and loving 🏡 Huck’s Ideal Home: A fenced yard, an active household, and people who want a dog that’s truly part of the family. Huck would love daily adventures, backyard playtime, and evenings spent relaxing with his favorite humans. Huckleberry Finn is searching for his Tom Sawyer — someone to explore life with, share laughs, and make memories alongside. He’s loyal, loving, and ready to be your best friend for life. ✨ Ready to start your adventure? Apply for Huckleberry Finn today at haydudeequine.org and let the adventurous journey begin! 🐾💙
