Story
Handsome, fluffy, and with a heart as warm as his fluffy coat. Harley is ready to steal hearts wherever he goes. One look into those soulful eyes and you’ll see the gentle spirit that makes him so special.
Just wait until you see Harley in action it says it all!

From the moment you meet him, Harley’s gentle nature shines. He brings a calm, easygoing energy wherever he lands. The kind of dog who enjoys life’s simple pleasures: exploring the yard, sniffing new scents, and hanging close to his people once he feels comfortable. Harley has a thoughtful personality and likes to take his time soaking in the world around him. Underneath that cool husky exterior is a fun, affectionate boy just waiting to fully shine.
We believe Harley is a Husky mix, approximately 6 years old, with that gorgeous, fluffy, soft coat the breed is so loved for. He currently weighs around 33 lbs, but don’t let his photos fool you, he’s actually on the smaller side and is definitely more fluff than anything. He is a compact, easy-to-take-anywhere size, making him the perfect little adventure buddy. And as with any rescue, breed and mix are always our best guess!
Harley is currently flourishing in his foster home, where he’s proving to be a versatile housemate. Whether he’s chilling in his crate or riding along for an errand, he’s just happy to be part of the team.
Is your home a feline-friendly one? Harley met “Biggie,” our house cat, and was definitely intrigued. To make sure he’s ready to share his home with a feline friend, we’d love for him to have a supervised slumber party with a kitty before making it official!
Harley is dog friendly and easygoing with other pups. He’s more of a sniff and stroll guy than a play all day type. He would do great with a low to medium energy buddy, though he’d happily rule the home solo, too.
Harley’s ideal home could be an apartment or a house, as long as he has plenty of chances to stop and smell the roses on his walks. Once you’ve earned his trust, you’ve got a fluffy friend for life.
Ready to make this fluffy gentleman yours? Bring Harley home!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
