Story
Stella really is that girl! Beauty, brains, great manners, and some gorgeous blue eye to top it all off! This beautiful 3-yr old Husky mix with stunning pale blue eyes weighs 55 lbs and is a happy girl with a silly Husky personality. And we mean Husky personality in the best possible way- communicative, playful, curious, and smart. She loves everyone she meets and really enjoys playing with other dogs in her foster home. She is potty trained and ready to be a wonderful new member of your family. If she sounds like a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you. Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Sable! She is a 1-year-old Husky mix girl who weighs about 45-50 lbs. She really loves attention and to be petted on. Sable has lots of energy when first let out of the kennel, but calms downs after her initial energy burst and then is very lovable. She would do well with an active family and really good with older children or another active dog.  Sable loves people of all ages (especially kids) and all other dogs, but not sure about cats. If she hears kids playing and isn’t leashed, she will go to them because she adores playing with kids so much. She will try to jump up on you if not made to mind. (I use a water bottle with pebbles in it to shake at her, she listens) working on leash walking and she does pretty good…In general she is a real sweetheart that just needs someone to love her! Sable is spayed, fully vetted and heartworm negative and microchipped. Please sign up for your first month of pet insurance on us! If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story
Meet Aros — a handsome Husky mix with a bright mind and an adventurous spirit. 🐾 At about 3 years old and 40 pounds, Aros is a great medium-sized companion who is fun, intelligent, and has a great personality. He’s an active guy who enjoys being part of whatever his people are doing, whether that’s going for walks, exploring the outdoors, or just hanging out nearby. Aros is not only energetic, he’s very smart and well-mannered. He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He learns quickly and enjoys having guidance and structure. Aros gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived successfully with a cat. Because he does have that typical Husky energy and enthusiasm, he may do best in a home with children 8 years and older, though with his intelligence and willingness to learn, he could certainly learn how to behave around younger kids as well. If you’re looking for a smart, fun-loving dog with a big personality, Aros might just be the perfect addition to your family. Aros is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and has received ProHeart 6 for long-lasting heartworm prevention. Please sign up for your first month of pet insurance on us! Story
🐾❄️ Meet Maggie — Tiny Husky, Big Opinions. At just under 3 months old and a whole 10 pounds of fluff and determination, Maggie is already proving one very important thing: she is, in fact, a Husky. Tan and white, ridiculously adorable, and equipped with that signature “I have thoughts about this” expression, Maggie is ready to find her person — preferably one who understands that Huskies are less “dog” and more… lifestyle choice. The official stats: ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Up to date on shots ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Ready for adventure Now let’s talk reality (because Husky people already know): Maggie will: ❄️ Judge your life choices ❄️ Potentially sing you the song of her people ❄️ Turn a simple walk into a full expedition ❄️ Be smarter than you’d prefer at times She will also: 💛 Love hard 💛 Play endlessly 💛 Make you laugh daily 💛 Look absolutely stunning while doing literally anything At this age, she’s a perfect mix of playful puppy chaos and future adventure buddy. Hiking? Yes. Exploring? Absolutely. Lounging quietly for 12 hours straight? …let’s circle back on that. Maggie is going to thrive with someone who gets the Husky vibe — someone who wants a partner, not just a pet. Someone who doesn’t mind a little sass, a lot of personality, and a dog who will absolutely keep them on their toes. Let’s be honest… Husky people are already reading this like, “Yep. That’s mine.” Adopt Maggie — because life is more fun with a little drama and a lot of fluff. 🐾❄️💙
