Story
Introducing Kenu, the charismatic Siberian Husky looking for his forever home! Kenu is a neutered male, approximately 1-2 years old, weighing 60lbs. He is a true social butterfly and adores everyone he meets. With a friendly and outgoing nature, Kenu is dog-friendly, non-reactive around cats, and good with kids (suggesting kids 8 and up or dog-savvy kids due to his size).  Just look at how absolutely STUNNING this boy is! This handsome pup is housebroken and crate trained, making him a well-behaved companion. Kenu is comfortable on a leash, making walks a pleasant experience for both of you. In his foster home, Kenu has shown adaptability in play styles, ranging from lazy to energetic. He enjoys rolling around in the dirt with other dogs but ultimately craves human companionship. When it's time to wind down, Kenu loves cuddling up next to his favorite person. Alternatively, he happily relaxes in his crate with a toy or something delicious, like peanut butter to lick. With his manageable energy levels for a Husky, Kenu would be a fantastic addition to a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. He's a good communicator, only barking when it's mealtime, walk time, or when he's spent too much time in his crate, at which point he treats you to a mesmerizing and beautiful howl. If you're seeking a loving and lively companion, Kenu might just be the perfect match. ##1742824##

Story
Meet Cleveland, he is absolutely adorable and one very sweet pup! He’s friendly, playful, healthy, energetic. He is super sweet and submissive. He does have lots of energy and wants to play but he also wants to learn as well. Older children beat because of his size he may knock little ones over. Two of his siblings adopters had DNA test done and we are confident in his breed mix and this makes for a wonderful dog. He is primarily Husky (results stated father was pure breed Husky) and his mom primary rottie mix with a smidge of boxer. He needs a home that is active has a large fenced yard and maybe even other doggy friends to play with as well. He is a high energy boy so if you’re not active or not home enough to help him release his energy then you won’t be able to Keep him happy. He’s is a lover and can be a couch tater as long as he is given ample opportunity to release any pent up energy by exercise and mental stimulation. Fenced yard is best for him and not a short fence as huskies tend to jump pretty high. A five foot fence or more would Be sufficient. An apartment would not be ideal for this athletic boy. He needs space to run and get his zoomies worked out. Lol Located in east TN. Out of state adoptions are welcomed for additional fee. Transport is available to many areas in the north east as well as the Great Lakes region. We use Rescue Riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Please apply at petpath.org

Story
Olive is a beautiful, 6 year old Husky that is small in stature at just 45 pounds.  This gorgeous girl is so devoted to her female foster and just follows her everywhere she goes.  If you want a dog that adores your every breath and every step then Olive is the girl to sign up very specially for YOU! She is very, very sweet, loyal and kind with people, children and even cats. Sometimes dog friends get in her space too much (you know…. they invade her boundaries) and she doesn’t like any dogs near her food at dinnertime.  She one of those very easy and super QUIET dogs in the house and she stands to guard her yard from any possible “alien” invasions.  This makes her an almost perfect companion. Foster mom Cissie says since coming to live with her, Olive has become a dog that knows the perimeter boundaries of the house and yard and stays right there inside them.   She is a friendly girl that enjoys the company of people and she is of course easy on the eye in her beauty and loving personality. If you would like to have this Husky girl, then please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 9, 2023, 11:06 am
