Story
If you’re looking for a puppy who is equal parts playful, loving, gentle, and downright adorable, then you may have just found your perfect match. Meet Gemini, a precious little girl who is about 2 months old and already stealing hearts everywhere she goes. Gemini is believed to be a Husky/Lab mix, which means she likely has a wonderful future ahead of her filled with intelligence, loyalty, and a playful spirit. Right now though, she’s simply enjoying being a happy little puppy — discovering the world one toy, one cuddle, and one silly moment at a time. Look how cute she has in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/C6jT10U-MAE?si=JR-N4ydnDgP6xTY5 One of the most special things about Gemini is how incredibly sweet and loving she is. She has such a gentle, affectionate personality that makes people fall for her almost instantly. She loves being near her people and has that natural puppy way of making you feel like you are the most important person in the world. Gemini has also been around babies, young kids, and dogs of all sizes and ages, and she has been absolutely wonderful with everyone. She approaches the world with a happy, friendly attitude and seems to genuinely enjoy being part of the action. Whether it’s kids laughing and playing, other dogs running around, or just people moving about the house, Gemini is happy to be included in the fun. When it’s playtime, Gemini turns into a little bundle of joyful puppy energy. She loves toys and will happily chase, pounce, and wrestle with them like they are the greatest treasure she’s ever discovered. Toss a toy or roll a ball and she’ll bounce right after it with that classic puppy enthusiasm. She also loves playing with other dogs and kids, and she does it in the sweetest way. Her playful energy is full of excitement but still gentle and friendly, making her such a wonderful little companion for families who enjoy an active, happy pup. And while she certainly loves her playtime, Gemini also has a very sweet, calm side that makes her extra special. She seems to understand when it’s time to slow down and relax. After a good round of playing and exploring, she’s more than happy to settle down, curl up nearby, and enjoy a cozy nap. Gemini absolutely loves to cuddle. She’s the type of puppy who will happily lay on the floor right next to you while you relax, watch TV, or just hang out. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention every second — sometimes she’s perfectly content just being close to her people. Those quiet cuddle moments are when her loving personality really shines. Living with Gemini will mean a home filled with happy puppy moments — silly zoomies across the room, toys scattered everywhere, little naps after big adventures, and that sweet feeling of having a loyal companion growing up right alongside you. Because Gemini is still a very young puppy, it’s important for her future family to understand that puppies require time, patience, and commitment. She will need help learning all the important things puppies need to learn, like house training, basic manners, and how to grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be. Raising a puppy can be a lot of work, but it’s also one of the most rewarding journeys you can take. Watching them grow, learn, and form that unbreakable bond with you is something truly special. With consistency, love, and guidance, Gemini will grow into an incredible lifelong companion. And if her personality now is any sign of the dog she will become, her future family is incredibly lucky. She is gentle, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully balanced for such a young pup. Gemini is more than just a puppy — she’s a little ball of happiness who wants nothing more than a family to love and grow up with. Someone out there is going to gain the sweetest best friend, the most loyal cuddle buddy, and the happiest little shadow following them around the house. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, playful adventures, cozy cuddles, and a lifetime of love, Gemini might just be the perfect addition to your family. This sweet little girl is ready to shine bright in her forever home. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69b06dee469686568a05817c Questions? Story
This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Warning: Finn McFluffy may cause excessive smiling and nonstop belly rub sessions. This fluffy husky sweetheart is one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. He absolutely loves being close to his people and will lean his whole body into you the second the pets start coming. Before long he’s flopped onto his back inviting you to continue the belly rub marathon. Ear scratches, booty rubs, gentle pets, Finn is thrilled about all of it. His sweet, loving personality even shines around kids, making him the kind of dog that’s almost impossible not to fall for. Watch his video and you’ll be smitten: https://youtu.be/cAfeG6FdkRQ?si=JSEe9_adZ65E8nvt Finn McFluffy is a Husky mix a little over 1 year old and about 60 lbs. With all that fluff, he looks a lot bigger than he actually is but trust us when we say he is more fluff than he is poundage LOL. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based on looks alone, it's pretty fair to say that he has some husky in that DNA. We'd be so happy to find adopters who have a little husky experience under their belt. Someone who gets their fun, independent spirit and is ready for a loving, adventurous companion. The level of love, affection, and admiration Finn has to offer is not only associated with adults, but it also extends toward children. Finn has been around kids as young as 5 years old and he did great!! He not only immediately went up to them and was completely comfortable, but he was also so gentle and immediately wanted to shower them with love, leaning into them in the gentlest way asking for affection. He never jumped on the youngest or knocked them down, was not phased by the random movements that come with having a little human around, or even loud noises. We believe Finn would make a great dog for a family with kids. Finn is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him too. He has been around dogs with all different temperaments, from large males to quiet ladies, and his personal favorite… the playful party pups. Finn loves to play with other dogs and has the best time romping around, wrestling, playing chase, sharing toys, and also enjoys simply hanging out. He’s not all about bringing the party vibes all the time; he appreciates downtime and relaxing at home with his new friends as well. Finn would do great in a home with another playful dog like himself but can also be your one and only. He does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable or open up. Finn is a social butterfly by nature and would love to be the center of your world. Finn would thrive in a semi-active home environment that enjoys frequent outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, going to the beach, or even casual playtime in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore parks, trails, or snowy landscapes would be perfect. While he loves the great outdoors and enjoys exploring, he is also a cuddly guy at home. If you enjoy the outdoors but also cherish time spent relaxing indoors, Finn is the perfect fit. He is the best of both worlds. He would also do best in a home with a backyard. A place where he can stretch his legs, check out all of his favorite sniff spots, roll around in the grass, and sunbathe during those beautiful summer days. We are willing to test Finn McFluffy with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let me know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Gemma! She is a 3 month old Siberian Husky who weighs 15lbs. She is growing very quickly and has a large frame (she will likely be 50-60lbs full grown with her parents' gene influence!). She is a stunning looking girl with lots of white to her coat and she has the most intriguing blue-gray eyes. Gemma is an energetic, mischievous sweetheart who is looking for an active family with whom she can share adventures. She is super smart and loves to run and do zoomies. Leash walks aka sniffaris are something she has discovered are super fun. Gemma is super excited to meet other dogs and would be happy to share her space with another active dog or two. Homes with children 12 years of age and older will be considered. For more information about how to make Gemma your next 4-legged family member, please contact my talent agent Michelle at michelle.p@poainc.org and complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org.

Story
Hi, I'm Jax! I am a 3 month old Siberian Husky. I currently weigh 15lbs, but I'm growing very quickly and think I may be 50lbs full grown with my parents' gene influence! I'm still learning about the big world, but am an active, mischievous, and adventurous guy who wants to get out and about with you! I don't know much about a leash and harness yet, but I am doing my best and enjoy taking in every smell, sight, and discovery on my walks. I'm curious about other dogs and like to meet calm, chill furry friends. Gentle children 6 years of age and older are in my wheelhouse as well! For more information, please contact my talent agent Michelle at michelle.p@poainc.org and complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org.
