Story
Are you ready to welcome a stunning classic red husky into your life or find a loyal companion to cherish? Franco❤️ is the perfect companion for you! He's a handsome 56lbs, 2yrs young, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. In his foster home, he's adored by all, gets along very well with their other male husky, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to fit in with their feline friend, which is why we need to find him a forever home🏡 . Here's what his foster family has to say about him.... Franco boasts a heartwarming personality that's both playful and gentle, coupled with an insatiable curiosity and love for exploration, especially during walks where he takes in all the fascinating sights and scents😻. He's the epitome of joy, sporting a perpetual smile and radiating positivity wherever he goes🥰. He adores human company but is also content with solo time, often unwinding peacefully in the living room after an exciting adventure. As a smart and capable dog, he excels with routine, is house-trained, and has shown great compatibility with other dogs. If you're excited to meet Franco and give him the loving home he deserves, submit your application promptly, and let's find this wonderful dog his perfect match!🤩 Currently being cared in Southern California, Franco can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving experienced family awaits to welcome him.

MAZZY IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Meet Mazzy!  She is one of the sweetest and happiest dogs I’ve ever met! Mazzy is very intelligent, eager to learn/please and loves everyone she meets. Mazzy is about a year and a half old and weighs 58lbs. She is fully housebroken and crate trained. Mazzy loves to romp around in the yard and explore. She would love another dog to play with her size who will match her playfulness and energy to be her best buddy. Story
Stella really is that girl! Beauty, brains, great manners, and some gorgeous blue eye to top it all off! This beautiful 3-yr old Husky mix with stunning pale blue eyes weighs 55 lbs and is a happy girl with a silly Husky personality. And we mean Husky personality in the best possible way- communicative, playful, curious, and smart. She loves everyone she meets and really enjoys playing with other dogs in her foster home. She is potty trained and ready to be a wonderful new member of your family. If she sounds like a good match for you, we'd love to hear from you. Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Sable! She is a 1-year-old Husky mix girl who weighs about 45-50 lbs. She really loves attention and to be petted on. Sable has lots of energy when first let out of the kennel, but calms downs after her initial energy burst and then is very lovable. She would do well with an active family and really good with older children or another active dog.  Sable loves people of all ages (especially kids) and all other dogs, but not sure about cats. If she hears kids playing and isn’t leashed, she will go to them because she adores playing with kids so much. She will try to jump up on you if not made to mind. (I use a water bottle with pebbles in it to shake at her, she listens) working on leash walking and she does pretty good…In general she is a real sweetheart that just needs someone to love her! Sable is spayed, fully vetted and heartworm negative and microchipped. Please sign up for your first month of pet insurance on us! Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story
Meet Aros — a handsome Husky mix with a bright mind and an adventurous spirit. 🐾 At about 3 years old and 40 pounds, Aros is a great medium-sized companion who is fun, intelligent, and has a great personality. He’s an active guy who enjoys being part of whatever his people are doing, whether that’s going for walks, exploring the outdoors, or just hanging out nearby. Aros is not only energetic, he’s very smart and well-mannered. He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He learns quickly and enjoys having guidance and structure. Aros gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived successfully with a cat. Because he does have that typical Husky energy and enthusiasm, he may do best in a home with children 8 years and older, though with his intelligence and willingness to learn, he could certainly learn how to behave around younger kids as well. If you’re looking for a smart, fun-loving dog with a big personality, Aros might just be the perfect addition to your family. Aros is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and has received ProHeart 6 for long-lasting heartworm prevention. Please sign up for your first month of pet insurance on us!
