Story
Dama is an adorable paraplegic husky pup who is ready to find her forever home! Dama was our very first paraplegic SAYv. This gorgeous girl was rescued by an amazing family from Mexico. They saw this cute baby husky in a wooded area and couldn't leave her there to fend for herself. They got her vaccinated and ready to come to the U.S. Once here, the family searched around for a rescue to take her in... time was running out. When we saw her being shared, we were immediately drawn to Dama's story. Thankfully we had an amazing foster that agreed to step up to the challenge which allowed us to say YES. Dama has been getting the royal treatment in her current foster home. She loves her swim lessons and therapy sessions - they keep her limber and mobile. Dama came rolling into rescue like she was on fire. She is a gorgeous husky puppy girl who loves all people and animals. She is always down for a good play time and loves to tell you about her day. Dama would do best in a house with another playful dog. Even though she is in go mode a lot, she does love a good bone and chill time. Don't let her cart worry you, because she doesn't let it hold her back. She just needs her bladder expressed a few times a day to make sure it's empty. Then she's good to go! We know that having a paraplegic dog isn't the easiest thing in the world, but we promise, we will explain EVERYTHING and give you the support you need to allow this girl to fit into your family perfectly

Story
Looking for a bundle of joy to add to your family? Look no further! This adorable Husky/Heeler mix named Violet is overflowing with energy and enthusiasm, ready to bring endless love and fun into your home. She was born around 9/1/23. Energetic & Playful: This little ball of fur is always ready for playtime! Whether it's fetch in the backyard or a game of tug-of-war, Violet will keep you entertained for hours with her boundless energy and playful spirit. Learning to Walk on a Leash: With each step, Violet is mastering the art of walking on a leash. A fenced yard would be optimal so Violet can take it at her own pace to learn her leash manners. Good with Other Dogs: Violet gets along famously with other dogs. In fact, we prefer she goes to a home with another dog. She really thrives with another dog to play with and show her the ropes. She can be a little shy at first, so we do think a home with older kids would be best. She has not shown any aggression, she just prefers to take it slow at first and build trust. Starfish would be happy to cover a session with our Positive Reinforcement training team (A Sound Beginning Training) to help Violet get off on the right foot! Has not been exposed to cats as of yet. Crate Trained: Need some downtime? Violet is already crate trained! Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this lovable bundle of joy into your home! She will be worth it and bonds strongly. Story
Hi there, my name is Maggie, and I am 7-year-old Siberian Husky. I'm quite the beauty with my all-white fur and striking ice-blue eyes! Im a nice medium size at 43lbs. My Owner surrendered me to a shelter because they couldn't take care of me anymore. My angel from Treasured Animal Rescue saw me there, just sitting so calmly in my kennel - just waiting. Now, I'm in a foster home with other dogs & cats, and I do well with them. I am interested in the cats and like to sniff them, but I never chase them. Once, a kitty swatted me. I thought they wanted to play, but my foster mom corrected me because she knew the kitty didnt want to play. I take correction very well and I just want to please. Im pretty good on a leash. When I go on a walk, I dont pull. If youre looking for a walking buddy, I would LOVE to take walks with you! I know some basic commands and I really enjoy the company of humans. I just want to be with my humans and get lots of pets. I am very good with kids. My foster family has three teens, and I really like them. Despite being middle aged, I have good energy and would do well with an active family to play with me and take me on walks. Because Im a nice, medium size, I could probably do well with school aged kids as young as 5 or 6, especially if they are comfortable around dogs. Due to my breed, a single-family home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Kinda like when I was in the shelter, Im just waiting for my perfect family. Is that you? . If you're looking for a middle-aged gal who is well past her crazy puppy stage and yet has great energy and LOTs of love to give, then look no further! Ready to pick me?!? If so, please complete an adoption application and our journey begins. Love,Maggie Maggieis located in our foster home in Aurora.
