Story
Bucky is incredibly friendly and super loving, but very hyper. He just turned 2. His best friend is a cat, and he gets along well with both cats and dogs (but he wants all the attention still). I had gotten him with my partner, but they are no longer around and it is just me. Bucky is unsupervised for almost 10hrs a day during the week, and it just feels like I cannot give him the attention he deserves. I would rather not give him up for adoption but fostering has not worked out. I would like to have someone experienced with huskys take him because I feel he is going to need a lot of attention and time to adjust. He and I are very bonded so I cannot imagine this will be easy on him. I am moving to Indiana for work this weekend and I just have come to the painful decision that he needs a better home and better pet owner. I would like to do a quick adoption and just get it over with (rip off the bandaid).

Story
Muk Luk is a Husky who we believe is approximately 6 years old. He was brought in as a stray and was never reclaimed. He is a sweet boy and seems like he would probably be ok with other dogs. He started off shy here but has really come out of his shell. His adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and heartworm test. Call 630-553-9256, email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our open business hours to meet and possibly adopt MukLuk.

Story
Dama is an adorable paraplegic husky pup who is ready to find her forever home! Dama was our very first paraplegic SAYv. This gorgeous girl was rescued by an amazing family from Mexico. They saw this cute baby husky in a wooded area and couldn't leave her there to fend for herself. They got her vaccinated and ready to come to the U.S. Once here, the family searched around for a rescue to take her in... time was running out. When we saw her being shared, we were immediately drawn to Dama's story. Thankfully we had an amazing foster that agreed to step up to the challenge which allowed us to say YES. Dama has been getting the royal treatment in her current foster home. She loves her swim lessons and therapy sessions - they keep her limber and mobile. Dama came rolling into rescue like she was on fire. She is a gorgeous husky puppy girl who loves all people and animals. She is always down for a good play time and loves to tell you about her day. Dama would do best in a house with another playful dog. Even though she is in go mode a lot, she does love a good bone and chill time. Don't let her cart worry you, because she doesn't let it hold her back. She just needs her bladder expressed a few times a day to make sure it's empty. Then she's good to go! We know that having a paraplegic dog isn't the easiest thing in the world, but we promise, we will explain EVERYTHING and give you the support you need to allow this girl to fit into your family perfectly

Story
***THIS PET IS NOT AT OSWEGO ANIMAL HOSPITAL, BUT IN A FOSTER HOME. PLEASE EMAIL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET HER!!!*** Meet Grizzly! AKA Clark Grizzwold (she is a girl of many nicknames already). Grizzly is a sweet and sassy, playful and vocal Husky mix who was brought to us after she was left behind at a local campground when a resident was moving. The neighbors took the three sisters in but had to find placement so we stepped in to help. They are approximately 8 months old, and are primarily Husky but we can't help but feel like there is something else there... maybe Pom? Aussie? we honestly don't have the slightest clue. BUT, what we do know is that Grizzly is a nice medium sized dog, typical husky coat and a tongue "blep" to die for. She is almost 100% potty trained, just needs some guidance and can't have complete run of the house yet if not supervised. She is crate trained and crates well when her foster is at work and over night. She gets along with all 6 of her foster moms dogs (from 40 lbs to 125 lbs, males and females). Grizzly is VOCAL. She is likely not a good choice for an apartment, or townhome, unless you have thick walls. She is quiet in the crate but barks once she knows people are up and moving, if she needs something or if she is excited. It is not surprising because of her breed mix but we want everyone to be aware before adopting. She would be a great dog for outdoor adventures and dog friends. She and her sister are still in the same foster home, but we feel it is likely in their best interest to be separated due to possible lifelong sibling syndrome, unless someone was VERY committed to the two girls to go together. Their third sister is in a separate foster home already and doing great. Grizzly's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip and fecal/heartworm testing. Please email helpsavepetsapps@gmail.com for more information or to set up a meet and greet.
