Story
Meet Daphne, a gorgeous 1-year-old Husky mix! She is full of energy, fun, and love! Daphne will need work on usual puppy things like not jumping up, walking nicely on leash, and potty-training. She's a smart girl who already knows sit and paw- she can be a bit stubborn though, and may decide she's not in the mood to listen to commands. Daphne is dog friendly and has enjoyed playing through the fence with our other dog-friendly dogs. Daphne would love a home to keep her active and enriched! She has plenty of energy for walks and playing. Daphne would greatly benefit from a home that has husky experience.

Story
Winnie  Lab/Pyrenees/Husky Mix  2 Years  80 lbs Basically Winnie=  the recipe for an extraordinary dog  you're right. Winnie is striking, soulful, and ready to trade her complicated past for the adventure-filled life she deserves. She's athletic and outdoorsy, happiest on a hike or exploring with her people, and she walks beautifully on leash. Every outing with her is a joy. She's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, deeply affectionate, and the kind of dog who quietly becomes the center of your world before you see it coming. She'll thrive with structure and ongoing training  not because she's difficult, but because she's smart and responds beautifully to guidance. Winnie needs a securely fenced yard, an active family, and a home without cats or small animals. Give her your commitment, and she'll give you everything she has. Trust us  that's a lot. Story
A little shy, a little silly, and 100% ready to find her team—meet Wendy. Wendy is a six-month-old Husky with a story that starts a little uncertain—but is already turning into something really special. She was found as part of a group of 24 dogs living in an abandoned shop in Houston before making her way to one of our trusted rescue partners in Texas on March 14. Just one month later, she made the trip up to us—officially starting her next chapter. Transport day was a big one for Wendy. New place, new people, new everything—and she wasn’t quite sure what to think. She started off pretty skittish and unsure, sticking close and taking it all in from a distance. But here’s the thing about Wendy—she wants to be brave. With a little time outside, some patience, and a few kind humans, you could actually see her confidence start to build. And by the end of the day? She had claimed the water bowl as her own personal pool and was fully living her best life. That’s Wendy in a nutshell: a little cautious at first, but once she realizes she’s safe, her personality starts to shine—and it’s a fun one. She’s going to thrive in a home that understands she may need a little time to settle in, but is ready to celebrate every win along the way. Watching her confidence grow is the kind of thing that makes all of this worth it. Wendy’s story started in an abandoned building—but it’s not ending there. She’s ready for her forever team. Breed & Size Disclaimer: While Wendy appears to be a Husky, breed and adult size are our best guess based on physical traits and observation. These details are not guaranteed, and we always welcome friendly input if you think we may have missed the mark.
