Story
Flo is such a special, loving girl! Flo is under 2 yrs old, 50lbs, up to date on vaccines, potty-trained, microchipped, and now spayed! She was picked up as a stray in Southern CA by control officers with catch poles, and tossed into one of the highest-kill shelters in America. She was deadlined with a scheduled euthanasia time (due to no space/homeless pet crisis). Miraculously, Flo was rescued; so we could foster her here! Thank you to the 501c3 rescue for tagging her! If you are interested in adopting her, have Husky/Shepsky experience, have a very active lifestyle, and want to spoil her too - let us know! Flo is gaining her confidence with new people and animals. She already learned how to walk on a leash, play with toys; she knows her name, and 'sit' already! She is an intelligent, fun, athletic, loyal, cuddle buddy! She's a velcro-dog. No cats please. Fee helps the rescue recover some of the vetting costs. Whoever adopts Flo will be so lucky!

Story
Hello! My wife and I had 4 dogs and then we had our daughter. She is allergic to dogs and we unfortunately had to get rid of them. Koda is the only dog we haven’t been able to find a home for. He is a good boy, 5 years old. He is house trained and is good with my daughter! He was always fine with our other dogs but was raised with them. He never attacked another dog but he does growl at other dogs! I think he could get used to other dogs in time but would probably be better as an only dog! Koda talks a lot and is very playful! He really is a sweet dog!

Story
Dama is an adorable paraplegic husky pup who is ready to find her forever home! Dama was our very first paraplegic SAYv. This gorgeous girl was rescued by an amazing family from Mexico. They saw this cute baby husky in a wooded area and couldn't leave her there to fend for herself. They got her vaccinated and ready to come to the U.S. Once here, the family searched around for a rescue to take her in... time was running out. When we saw her being shared, we were immediately drawn to Dama's story. Thankfully we had an amazing foster that agreed to step up to the challenge which allowed us to say YES. Dama has been getting the royal treatment in her current foster home. She loves her swim lessons and therapy sessions - they keep her limber and mobile. Dama came rolling into rescue like she was on fire. She is a gorgeous husky puppy girl who loves all people and animals. She is always down for a good play time and loves to tell you about her day. Dama would do best in a house with another playful dog. Even though she is in go mode a lot, she does love a good bone and chill time. Don't let her cart worry you, because she doesn't let it hold her back. She just needs her bladder expressed a few times a day to make sure it's empty. Then she's good to go! We know that having a paraplegic dog isn't the easiest thing in the world, but we promise, we will explain EVERYTHING and give you the support you need to allow this girl to fit into your family perfectly <3 Ready to adopt Dama?! Apply here: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what Petfinder, AdoptApet and other aggregation services might state, the FIRST STEP is to fill out an adoption application via the link above, NOT send us a message through their online systems. Thank you!)

Story
Introducing Maggie, a four year old Husky/Pomeranian mix available for adoption. Maggie was found loose in the local area until she was brought to us for safety. She has been with us before and when we contacted the microchip owner, she was rehomed and didn`t have the new owners information. Maggie completed her stray hold, in case her new owners were looking for her but unfortunately no one came. Maggie is ready for her next chapter and ready to be adopted! Maggie is a smaller girl, weighing about 25 pounds. She`s like a miniature Husky with all the sass! She is a little over four years old and has a stunning Husky features like a soft coat, fluffy curly tail, and icy blue eyes. Yes, she is gorgeous and absolutely a doll but she is also a Husky. Huskies like to run and need to be worked with. They like to go on long walks, can play for hours, and have the sassiest attitudes on top of everything. Maggie is doing well at the shelter and is very affectionate but don`t let her looks fool you. She has all the Husky attitude and sass. Huskies can be on a whole other level at times but with discipline, exercise, and training, they can be very rewarding and great companions! Maggie does well with other dogs but is very independent. She likes to be top dog but has done well in playgroups with dogs that don`t butt heads with her sassy personality. Her adoption fee is $235, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. Call our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333. Located in Joliet, IL.

Story
He is blind so it is important to give him time to adjust to the new surroundings. He has a brother that I'd love to go with him as the are each others security blankets. The second picture is of the brother. We acquired these 2 from my brother in law when they were kicked out of their house. We only agreed to it because they said they would only look at rentals that allowed pets. Well that did not happen. I already have 4 dogs of my own. After 6 months of having them its time to have them find a forever home.

Story
Hi Everyone! My name is Saint and I am a teenage boy, about 1 1/2-2 years old. I am a handsome boy with one blue eye and one brown eye. My foster friends say I am the full package, loving, happy, and as smart as they come. I have a strong desire to learn and am up for any adventure! Bring some other dogs along and I'll make fast friends. My personality matches my soft face. I'm a sweet, devoted boy who just wants a family to call my own. I am good with respectful children and other animals. I was relinquished to the shelter due to no fault of my own. I was rescued from an overcrowded rural shelter. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact adoptions@wagginghearts.org for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (Neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Saint
