Poppie is what we like to call a "slow blossom." She can be shy and uncertain when she first meets new people, but don't let that fool you — this girl absolutely loves life once she's comfortable. She thrives in social settings and absolutely lights up at doggy daycare, where staff describe her as a joy to have around. She's a smart girl who already knows sit and paw- she can be a bit stubborn though, and may decide she's not in the mood to listen to commands. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. Adoption fee covers transport cost. This girl is the last of her litter and ready to go. She was surrendered when her owner could not care for her. She is friendly, playful, happy and ready for a home! She has done well with strangers, kids and other pups. She hasn't been around cats but is young enough to learn those manners. She has done well in a crate and on car rides. She is going to be a wonderful family companion.
