Story

Drea is a 9 yr old female Husky. She is a very sweet and well behaved dog. She is not a barker or anything like that. The quietest dog I have ever seen actually. This was my father's dog who is unable to care for her since his wife passed away and his health issues. I know they rescued her in NC but his ex wife is trying to take care of her at the moment and has asked me to reach out for adoption. My parents are both almost 80 and Drea pulls her sometimes when she walks her. They had a doggie door where she let herself out to go where he lived in NC but here in NJ we are in a condo and she has had accidents while we were out so we started putting paper down when we go out. I am updating that she has now been with us a year and noticed that she will do best with a female owner that is home most of the day. She has lived her life with seniors in a quiet home and seems content being the only pet but also has separation issues.

Meet Lucky! Lucky is a male husky who was pulled by Husky House from a kill shelter when he was on the euthanasia list. Lucky is an energetic dog who loves to play! He does have some resource guarding tendencies with food and treats, so he would do best in an adult only home who can help him work on this. Lucky has been reported to do well with dogs and will be introduced to dogs at Husky House once he is more settled in and relaxed.
