Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Zeus is a very handsome boy who is looking for a home! Zeus is with our partner rescue and hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We offer a foster to adopt program to approved adopters. Zeus was found in a Walmart parking lot and no one ever claimed him. He is in foster with two other huskies and doing really well. He is active, sweet, fun and playful. Zeus loves his dogs companions. He is not a fan of the crate. He knows basic commands including: sit, stay, inside and outside. He is housebroken and leash trained. Zeus is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Zeus recently completed treatment for heartworm and will need to be retested in 9-12 months. His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.   How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Story
Puma's Key Attributes: Loving, Adventurous, Silly, Outgoing Summary: Puma is a friendly, energetic, affectionate, and snuggly fella. He enjoys playing with toys and loves to play fetch. Puma thrives with regular exercise, including a daily park excursion with sniffing and exploring; he loves investigating the woods/streams/fields. Puma also likes to just lounge around in the yard and soak up the sun. Puma really enjoys being with his people, including laying in your lap like a cat, but he also does very well alone in his own room. He is currently living in a foster home and house-trained. Other Dogs: Puma loves other dogs and is a bit obnoxious at first due to his excitement. He will do best with slow, well-managed introductions with other dogs that handle his antics in a playful but stern manner. Once Puma relaxes a bit, he is an enjoyable walking buddy and playmate for other dogs. Self-Entertainment Activities Puma Enjoys: Food Puzzles, Chews/Bones, Squeaky Toys, Stuffies, Cardboard Boxes, Empty Plastic Bottles Background: Puma was found as a stray in Philadelphia in November 2023. His finders learned that was too enthusiastic about their cats, so he was taken to Philly ACCT. Puma was adopted for about a month, but the newborn baby in the home was allergic to him, so he was returned to ACCT in late December 2023. Puma was timestamped for euthanasia, so Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue welcomed him into their foster-based rescue on 12/31/23. More Puma Photos & Videos on Northern Exposure Siberian Husky Rescue's Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/share/i4AVsK4J2XhLRvg1/?mibextid=qi2Omg Requirements: Potential adopters must live in NJ, PA, MD, DE, or Long Island NY; NESHR volunteers handle all transportation. Puma will need a tall fenced in yard. Siberian husky experience is also required. No kitty housemates. Story
Meet Jewel 💎 Jewel, who answers to Jewlee or Gemma is a true Gem!! She is sweet, lovable and energetic who turns 3 y/o in April. Jewel was surrendered by owners due to personal medical reasons. Although Jewel is not crazy high energy, she still is a husky and it was just too much for them to handle. She enjoys playing with her toys, doing daily walks, car rides and going on small adventures. Jewel would love a playmate her size to pal around with. NO CATS. She looooves her people, her duty is to follow you around and adores rubz, especially belly rubz after her daily walks. She does like the finer things in life and will snuggle up on the sofa or bed. She enjoys going outside but again, her primary preference is wherever you are🩷 Jewel is spayed, UTD with shots, people friendly, dog friendly, house-trained, crate-trained, walks great on leash, doesn’t counter surf or beg for food. No guarding whatsoever. Jewel is a total love bug 🐞and a very good girl just waiting for the right family to welcome her home! MUST have Siberian husky experience & a fenced in yard. Potential Adopters MUST reside in our region of PA, NJ, DE, MD or Long Island NY.
