Story
Hakuna Matata- means no worries since the search for your new best friend might just be over! Meet Simba, a 3-year-old Husky Mix with a playful spirit and a classic husky personality. He’s a 72lb gentle giant, but keep your eye on him as in a blink of an eye he can be having an adventure blocks away. He’s a friendly fellow who enjoys the spotlight and all the attention (on his own term of course), but ready to find a kingdom to call home!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  COURTESY POST: Rescue Ridge does not know the temperament of this dog first hand.  Meet Skye• Breed: Husky/Malamute     •     Sex: Female     •     Age: 8 years old (DOB: August 2017)     •     Weight: 90 lbs     •     Color: White and tan     •     Eyes: Beautiful blue eyes with a unique little star-shaped marking in her right eye. Skye is a beautiful soul with an even more beautiful personality. She has so much character, is incredibly loving, and has the sweetest way of looking into your eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. She loves snuggling, belly rubs, and spending time with her people. She's happy, playful, and ready to be someone's loyal best friend. The Good:     •     Fully potty trained     •     Great with people of all ages     •     Affectionate, playful, and loves attention     •     Does not chew on furniture, shoes, or household items Things to Know:     •     Skye can be selective with other dogs, so slow introductions are important, and she may do best as the only dog in the home.     •     She does not do well being crated or confined alone in a room.     •     As a large Husky, she's tall enough to reach tables and counters, so food should never be left unattended.     •     She gets excited on walks and pulls on the leash. She's always been more of a yard dog, so she'll benefit from someone willing to continue working with her leash manners. She's very strong! Skye came into my life nearly a year ago when her owner asked me to care for her temporarily before moving to Asia. Sadly, they never returned, and she has been with me ever since. This decision is incredibly difficult because Skye has become such a special part of my life. Unfortunately, I will be relocating to Florida and am unable to take her with me. I'm looking for a loving, committed home where Skye can spend her golden years surrounded by love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs. She has so much love to give, and I'm confident she'll make an amazing companion for someone willing to give her the chance she deserves.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 24, 2026, 5:57 pm

Very good boy here. He was left with me by an acquaintance for what was supposed to be a weekend. She has stopped responding to me and so I’m stuck with a wonderful dog that sadly I cannot house for much longer.

Story
4.5 year old rescued male husky mix (50% husky, then GSD, cattle dog, border collie) in tact because he showed anxiety and separation anxiety as a puppy and we were nervous about exacerbating it.The most curious dog I've ever had, interested in so much. His favorite activities involve sniffing (you'd think he'd have a scenthound in him!), walks in the woods, helping in the garden, and trancing between plant leaves. He has a single favorite type of toy and goes crazy over it doing the goofiest things. He learns within a a few repetitions. Unfortunately, he has quite a few behavioral issues that while I have managed them as much as I can and with medication (clomicalm & gabapentin) it is more than I can give as I have my own disabilities and am looking for his forever home with someone patient. He has separation anxiety and FOMO, is not good with kids or other pets (dog reactive on leash, poor socialization, and high prey drive), and is wary of strangers. He is generally a little anxious.

Story
Meet Eddie! Eddie is a male husky who was abandoned by his previous owners at a vet office a few days before Christmas 2023. They threw him into the vet’s lobby and then ran off! He is now looking for his forever home at Husky House. Eddie is a friendly and high energy dog! He is great with people and other dogs his size. Eddie gets nervous when out and tries to wiggle out of his harness, and as such he needs to go to a home with a fenced in yard while he continues to work on leash training. Interested in adopting Eddie? Please visit www.huskyhouse.org today to fill out an application.March 16, 2026, 12:17 am
