Story
Hans is a purebred Siberian Husky. He is 2 years old. He is a lot of fun and very vocal! He loves the outdoors and his stuffy. He has to be walked or let out about two to three times a day. He loves water and ice cubes LOL. Currently, he is only eating one time a day due to his stomach issues. He had a brother named ghost who passed away. When ghost passed away, Hans refused to eat despite the different selections of food. I believe Hans had depression. I took him from my brother in hopes of making him feel better. Once United with my current dog, Hans began to look happy again. He grew close to my granddaughter who is six with autism. He now eats once a day, canned and wet food, to build the strength of his stomach back up. He is a character with a huge personality. He knows how to give Paw, sit, and lay down. I haven't really tried other commands yet. He is leash trained, although he gets a little excited at that times. I prefer an experienced adopter due to Hans past.

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story Meet Koko with two beautiful blue eyes👋 Turning 5 months old, Koko was discovered in March 2023, trembling in front of the shelter in Korea. His previous owner had left him there with a message saying that he could no longer care for him due to personal reasons. The poor pup had been abandoned without a collar or leash. Despite his fear, Koko did not run away and remained on the spot, waiting for help. Ever since then, he’s been living in a shelter, patiently waiting for his forever home! • Personality: Friendly, Playful, Easy-going Koko is such a sweet, kind-hearted pup. He warms up to new people super quickly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs!💛 Whether as an only dog or a second furry family member, he’d fit right in. Koko loves hanging out with his humans and has a mid-to-high energy level, so he’s perfect for a family who enjoys the outdoors and can spend lots of quality time with him. 🐾 • Affinity with - Dogs: He enjoys playing with other dogs. No aggression toward others. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Older teens would be more suitable for his energy. • Walking Manners: In training - improving! • Housetrained: Koko will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a new environment. He will likely prefer to go potty outside once he's used to the daily routine. • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates them just fine • Car Sickness: Does great with car rides • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Just a little bit when he greets people • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 7-8 • Likes/Dislikes: Koko loves running around and playing with his people and friends! • Health: A healthy boy! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Meet Goliath, a 110-lbs 4-year-old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix. Don’t let his size fool you, this gentle giant is more lap dog than lion. Goliath is happiest curled up beside you on the sofa or bed, taking up more than his half of the space and not apologizing for it. He loves everyone he meets: big dogs, small dogs, kids, strangers…you name it. He has a particular soft spot for little dogs, and while he may bark at bigger pups, it’s just his (enthusiastic) way of asking them to play. He is not aggressive. Goliath has opinions, and he will share them. Expect a running commentary on his day, his needs, and whatever else is on his mind. He’s vocal, expressive, and absolutely charming for it. He’s fully potty trained, does well home alone, and is a dream on walks. And boy does he love his walkies…so much so that you may have to drag him home. He is a little sensitive to loud noises, so a calmer environment suits him best. Like many dogs, he’ll need a few days to settle into a new home…some whining is normal at first, but once he finds his footing, his sweet, goofy personality will truly shine. If you’re looking for a big, loving shadow who just wants to be by your side, Goliath might be your guy. Goliath is being fostered in New York, NY and his adoption fee is $475. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
