Story
Meet Max! 🐾❤️Max is a sweet, well-tempered puppy who listens well and is eager to learn. He’s teething but responds great to redirection, and he’s not resource protective. He’s wonderful with handling—baths, paw handling, and even nail trims are no problem! He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and is curious about people and dogs on walks. Max is very affectionate and loves being near his people. Here is what his foster mom has to say - Overall, Max has been a fantastic pup with such a sweet personality and so much potential. He’d make a wonderful addition to a loving forever home! 🐶❤️

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  COURTESY POST: Rescue Ridge does not know the temperament of this dog first hand.  Meet Skye• Breed: Husky/Malamute     •     Sex: Female     •     Age: 8 years old (DOB: August 2017)     •     Weight: 90 lbs     •     Color: White and tan     •     Eyes: Beautiful blue eyes with a unique little star-shaped marking in her right eye. Skye is a beautiful soul with an even more beautiful personality. She has so much character, is incredibly loving, and has the sweetest way of looking into your eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. She loves snuggling, belly rubs, and spending time with her people. She's happy, playful, and ready to be someone's loyal best friend. The Good:     •     Fully potty trained     •     Great with people of all ages     •     Affectionate, playful, and loves attention     •     Does not chew on furniture, shoes, or household items Things to Know:     •     Skye can be selective with other dogs, so slow introductions are important, and she may do best as the only dog in the home.     •     She does not do well being crated or confined alone in a room.     •     As a large Husky, she's tall enough to reach tables and counters, so food should never be left unattended.     •     She gets excited on walks and pulls on the leash. She's always been more of a yard dog, so she'll benefit from someone willing to continue working with her leash manners. She's very strong! Skye came into my life nearly a year ago when her owner asked me to care for her temporarily before moving to Asia. Sadly, they never returned, and she has been with me ever since. This decision is incredibly difficult because Skye has become such a special part of my life. Unfortunately, I will be relocating to Florida and am unable to take her with me. I'm looking for a loving, committed home where Skye can spend her golden years surrounded by love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs. She has so much love to give, and I'm confident she'll make an amazing companion for someone willing to give her the chance she deserves.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 21, 2026, 7:12 pm

Story
Milo is the sweetest 5 year old husky! He was born in France and has lived in Romania the last 3 years. We recently moved to the US and our family situation has changed dramatically and unfortunately, we can no longer keep him with us. He is house broken and great with kids. We have 3 kids under 4 years old and when we lived in Romania he was around 0-14 years on a daily basis. He loves long walks and running, but at home he loves lounging and napping. He is very submissive and sweet. He is great around other dogs and good around older cats. Not great with small kittens.
