Story
Meet BellaBella is a young, beautiful Husky who is full of life and always ready for adventure. With her energy and enthusiasm, she would make an amazing hiking partner or companion for an active family that loves the outdoors.Like many young dogs, Bella is still learning her manners. She can be jumpy and a little mouthy when she gets excited or playful, but it’s all part of her youthful spirit and something that will improve with continued training and guidance.Bella would do best with someone familiar with the Husky breed who understands her needs for exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. In the right home, she’ll thrive and become a loyal, fun-loving companion ready to explore the world by your side.

Story
Noble is indeed the perfect name for this boy. I must say he is the most well behaved husky’s I’ve ever met. He is still a husky though and needs a home that understands the breed. He is reportedly good with other dogs and even chickens but has no idea what a cat is. He enjoys children and is very well behaved in the home. He is housebroken but does not enjoy a crate. He knows many basic commands and walks great on a leash. If this sounds like the guy for you get an application on him quickly. Someone will snag him up fast.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Sayla was surrendered to a high kill shelter in SC by her owner. She hasn't had the best of life to date (prior owner hit her with a frying pan because she got out of her crate as an example). She deserves a chance at a good life. She needs an experienced owner that can provide her with the structure she needs to be happy in life. No children under 15 due to her prior life experiences. She is at risk at the shelter and needs an adopter ASAP to help us save her. We would consider a foster to adopt program for her if you will give her a chance to join your family and decompress from the high stress shelter life she was thrown into. We are working to save as many dogs from southern shelters and place them into loving homes. These shelters are high kill shelters and these dogs are urgently in need of an adopter to save their lives. These are good dogs that had crappy owners who dumped them or just turned them out and the dogs were picked up as stray and taken to the county shelters, left unclaimed. The county shelters fill up quickly and they euthanize (kill) simply because they run out of space for dogs to be. We offer adoptions for any dog we post. We can provide videos, pictures, answer as many questions as we can on the dog for you, etc. We can even do video chat with the dogs (these must be scheduled) if time allows. If you want to adopt but are unsure of a dog because you haven’t met him or her….we offer a adoption foster period program. This is where you adopt the dog and agree to a certain time period trial – usually 2-4 weeks (depending on when transport is running from here to there) to let the dog decompress in a normal home setting and settle in and make sure it’s a good fit for you and the dog. If it isn’t a good fit, we can pick the dog back up when our transport returns to your location but you have to agree to keep the dog safe during the time he/she is with you until we are able to pick the dog up. The adoption fee is non-refundable BUT if the dog is not a good fit for you or you’re not a good fit for it and it’s returned, we do allow you to pick another dog to adopt and transfer the fee to that dog (we will only do this one time), this is not a rotation puppy game. We have been doing rescue for many years (the Director has been doing this for over 30 years). We are pretty good at matching a dog to a person, family, etc. Be honest with us at what you are looking for, what matters to you and what will work best for you and we will be honest with you if you’re interested in a dog that’s not going to work for you. Our adoption fees include all up to date vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and any other medical needed by the dog while in the ownership of the rescue). It will also include the transportation to your area (not to your house, you might have to drive a little to pickup the dog depending on where transport stops to meet up with people). Let’s partner together to save a dog and find you your next fur-family member.

Story
This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
At just 18 months old, this Husky mix brings a whole lotta confidence, playfulness, and heart into every space he enters. He’s great with kids, good with other dogs, and has a contagiously cheerful energy. And yes… he’s got serious game. Hemi is obsessed with his little rubber basketball. He dribbles it around the yard like he’s in the final seconds of a championship matchup, guards it like everything depends on it, and then struts around proudly after every big catch like he just made history. The vibes? Elite. The enthusiasm? Off the charts. All 60 pounds of him commit fully. He would thrive in a home that appreciates this young Husky energy and is ready for an active, engaged companion. Hemi is loyal, affectionate, and brings that same excitement to his people every single day. It’s hard to believe that this handsome guy was once left all alone in the middle of a busy intersection in Alabama. Thankfully, he was rescued, brought to safety with our shelter partner, and has been thriving in their care ever since. Now he’s ready to channel all that heart, hustle, and happiness into a forever home of his own. Contact us at info@crossingsanimalsociety.org or call (215) 321-4673 to learn more about Hemi or request an adoption application.
