Story
***Adoption fee WAIVED***You don't need to be Jon Snow to adopt this Ghost - I promise, no Night's Watch oath required! I'm a striking Siberian Husky with a love for the great outdoors and plenty of energy to spare. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, or just hanging out together, I enjoy spending time with my people. That said, I do have an independent streak-classic Husky behavior, of course! Sometimes I like to do my own thing, but don't worry, I'll always circle back to check in on my favorite humans.I'm looking for an active home that understands my adventurous spirit and appreciates a dog with both brains and personality. I'd love a family that will keep me engaged, take me on outdoor adventures, and respect my occasional need for "me time." If you're looking for a fun-loving, intelligent, and slightly mysterious best friend, then I just might be the Ghost you've been searching for!Ghost is great with people and kids. A rock star! We take him to group events and he charms everyone he meets! He is best as your only pet. Housetrained and Oh, so handsome!**This pet is eligible for the Pets for Patriots program**Complete the online adoption application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. To ease the financial burden on adopters and help our adoptable dogs find their forever homes, we are excited to introduce the Post Adoption Training Scholarship (PATS) program. This initiative funds the first five training sessions with a qualified trainer for select medium and large breed dogs, identified in their adoption bios. For more information, please call the shelter director (Jack Griffin) and ask about the PATS program.**This pet is eligible for the Pets for Patriots program**If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. Story
Xena is a mini husky mix/(potentially) Alaskan klee kai about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. She has a sweet nature and a sweet spot for all humans. Xena, though, has a lot of energy. From what I have experienced the past few months with her is a lot of potential. It’s easy to tell that she has never been properly loved and cared for in a household environment. As she’s still decompressing she slowly is improving. I’ve been able to train her with different commands like sit, go potty, off (to get off from jumping or trying to counter surf), and leave it (to avoid her from eating things/ going after people and animals). She needs to absolutely be an only dog and is what I figure to be either dog selective or just reactive to dogs from her past. I believe what Xena truly needs which I cannot fully fulfill at this time is a backyard and a lot of cardio with mental stimulation. I also feel that with the potential she has she would do great after a training course!

Story
🚨 URGENT BIO – THANO SCHEDULED TO BE KILLED 🚨 Thanos is running out of time. Thanos is a beautiful, blue-eyed Husky/herding mix who was recently returned after showing herding behavior while playing with young children. No skin was broken; only superficial teeth and claw scrapes were reported (photos available). This was instinctual behavior, not aggression. 💙 About Thanos: • Neutered • Heartworm negative • ~45 lbs • Dog friendly • Social with cats and people • Smart, active, and engaged Thanos would do best in a home without very young children or with an adopter who understands herding breeds and their play style. He is affectionate, social, and highly adoptable in the right environment—but time is running out. ⏳ Thanos is urgent and set to be killed without immediate HELP. He does not deserve to die for being who he is. PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152
