Story
Hey there, pals! I'm Sinatra, the husky with a voice as smooth as jazz and a spirit as free as the wind. They say the summer wind brought me into the shelter, but let me tell you, I'm doing it my way from here on out. With my striking blue eyes that could rival the famous singer himself, I'm not just your average pup - I'm a chatty husky with a lot to say and even more energy to burn. While I may be independent by nature, I'm always up for an adventure, whether it's exploring new trails or howling along to my favorite tunes. So if you're in need of a furry friend who's ready to dance to the beat of their own drum, look no further - I'm Sinatra, your charismatic companion, ready to serenade you with love and laughter every step of the way.Post Adoption Training Scholarship (PATS)At SAVE, we understand that the current economy presents challenges, and this impacts dog adoption rates. To ease the financial burden on adopters and help our adoptable dogs find their forever homes, we are excited to introduce the Post Adoption Training Scholarship (PATS) program. This initiative funds the first five training sessions with a qualified trainer for select medium and large breed dogs, identified in their adoption bios. For more information, please call the shelter director and ask about the PATS program.Complete the online adoption application on our website. The shelter is open by appointment for approved adopters. We have appointments available daily except Mondays. We look forward to helping you find your furry best friend! Cabrera is a diamond in the ruff. This handsome husky mix needs an experienced, adult-only home where he is the only pet. We know that's a tall order to fill, but we're not giving up hope that his adopter is out there and ready to give him the stable, loving home he deserves. If you are interested in meeting Cabrera, visit or call the shelter - or complete an online adoption questionnaire and a shelter team member will reach out to schedule and introduction! https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplicationHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Story
This is the third husky I’ve had, wonderful dog and amazing breed. He is a purebred dog from a line that has been bred since the 1950’s so he’s 100% husky. The issuei am having is my role has changed for work, and I am now required to travel 90% of the time. He’s not getting the attention, work, or love he needs and I don’t want to continue to have to board him, as he has anxiety when it’s too long. He loves people, dogs, kids, and just about everything except maybe small outdoor creatures. He’s all up to date on shots, heartworm, flea and tick prevention. When I’m able he gets 5 good walks a day, and tug and play time at home. He has attended some daycare to socialize and also socializes on walks. He’d be very good as himself or part of a pack.
