Story
Meet Blue! 💙🐾 Blue is an absolutely stunning 11-month-old Husky with one icy blue eye and one warm brown — the kind of gaze that stops you in your tracks. His coat is thick, soft, and perfectly marked, and that smile? Completely contagious. He’s sweet, funny, and full of personality. Blue “talks” to you in that classic Husky way and has a goofy, playful charm that will keep you laughing. He’s super smart and picks up on new things quickly — crate trained, housebroken, and eager to please. Blue has a healthy amount of energy and would thrive with an active family who can give him some daily exercise or outdoor adventures. He’s friendly and does great with kids and other dogs, but would do best in a cat-free home since his instincts may lead him to chase them. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home — Blue is more than just gorgeous; he’s the whole package. ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. Story
Meet Echo Wren: A Survivor, A Hero, A Best Friend Echo Wren’s story is one of resilience, love, and hope. This stunning Husky mama was found locked in a trailer with no food, no water, and no fresh air, bravely protecting and nurturing her 8 puppies despite the dire circumstances. Her strength and devotion saved her little family, and now she’s ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished as much as she deserves. Echo Wren is more than just a survivor—she’s a gentle soul with a heart full of love. She’s fiercely loyal, incredibly smart, and has a playful, adventurous spirit that will light up your life. Whether it’s a hike in the great outdoors or a cozy evening on the couch, Echo Wren will be your steadfast companion through it all. She’s great with people, adores belly rubs, and has a soft spot for treats (who doesn’t?). Echo Wren is also a devoted mama, and her nurturing nature shines through in her interactions with everyone she meets. She’s ready to leave her past behind and embrace a future filled with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. If you’re looking for a dog who embodies strength, love, and loyalty, Echo Wren is your girl. She’s not just a pet—she’s family. Are you ready to give this incredible mama the happy ending she’s been waiting for? Echo recently had a day out on the town with one of our volunteers, and here's how it went: "If move-in ready was available in dog form, Echo would be that dog. Most dogs, when they go for a day out, are a little nervous about jumping in and out of a car, not Echo. From the moment I picked her up, she knew exactly what to do. She waited by the back door for me to open the door and jump right in and waited to be buckled up. Some poor planning on my part, but our first stop was a pup cup that was next to a construction area filled with people, but Echo did amazing!! She kept running over for pets, did not seemed bother by the noise or any one walking past. Just was quietly and excitedly observing. We did move to quieter area where she got to smell some flowers. Any time I would “baby” talk to her she would get excited and run and jump up for me to pet her. She loved the treats and I was able to pet her while she was chewing. After hanging out for a bit she moved over to a cooler concrete slab and took a nap, when I went to pet her, she rolled over and insisted I give her belly rubs. She may have fallen asleep during this! We took a walk through the woods which she loved. We stopped at one more location before heading back, which was a pretty popular park. Bikes and people were going past and she did amazing with all of it. Echo really just wanted love and attention. She did well with both males and females, noise and quiet, every situation she aced. She just seemed so happy to be in the spotlight." Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Bean is approximately 11 months old and last weighed in at almost 37 lbs.  We picked him up from the Philly shelter along with Bowie (who may be his brother).   The only history we have is that on 09/21/24 both dogs were found at the same location and brought to the shelter as strays.  They were both a little skinny but have put on some weight and according to the vet, are very healthy. Bean is a very sweet dog and loves people. He likes to cuddle.  He is not food aggressive and seems good around kids. Because he is a very rambunctious puppy, he would need to be monitored around small children. He is very energetic and plays very rough with Bowie; these two are very close. Seems ok with most dogs but shows some aggression toward some dogs during his obedience class. His prey drive is very strong, so having small animals or pets (such as cats) around would not be advised. He is a puppy and likes to dig and chew on anything, which can all be fixed with time and training.  Bean is crate trained and does well in the house, monitored.

Story
Meet Twilight! This gorgeous 3-year-old Husky girl is full of spirit and ready for her next adventure—but this time, with a forever family by her side. Twilight came to us after being surrendered from a commercial breeder, where her love of freedom (and impressive ability to hop a barn half-door) proved a little too much for the setup. Classic Husky! Twilight is incredibly friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs. She walks nicely on a leash for a Husky—which is to say, she’s doing great, but a no-pull harness and some consistent training will help her shine even more. She’s getting the hang of crate and kennel time and adjusting well to life as a beloved companion. If you’re looking for an affectionate, fun-loving dog with a little mischievous sparkle in her eye, Twilight might just be your perfect match. Twilight is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. Interested in adopting Twilight? Fill out an application at www.dogtownrescue.org. An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs. Dog Town Rescue 📍 1553 Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield, PA 19440 PA Kennel License #12275
